Looks like it's getting tougher for the Lakers and if they continue looking like this then I'd expect they may not get through the playoffs which is sad considering how others expect them the best team for 2021-22 season. There are adjustments for McCollum but I think he's in good shape at Pelicans this time seem to what is doing by Harden on the Sixers uniform.

It is getting tougher. With a lot of team added strength from the last trading market it will not be an easy ride for all their games. I watched them carefully last night and all I could see is lack of defensive plays.
Like what Richard Jefferson said, Frank Vogel is not a bad coach and he even earned a championship 2 years ago but this problem is down to the players if they can pull some efforts with every inch of a play.

The Lakers only have a month left to secure their spot in the playoffs, but I think their road is already expected especially now that AD have been injured again and they said it will take 4-6 weeks for him to get back on the court. Also, WB is having his worst year but they still have a chance and will likely join the play-in tournament but I doubt that they can survive that.

There's always a chance but they must secure that place first before anything else. What if they drop to 11th rank, that's the end of everything. Their next three games will be Mavs, Clippers and then GSW. It may sink them down in the rankings.

That footage of Jeanie Buss walking out of the Pelicans vs Lakers game seemed to sum up how upset management is that they keep surrounding LeBron with stars but can’t seem to win a game. Russ has been playing terrible and it seems like LeBron is starting to feel the fatigue. With AD out again for several weeks, you have to wonder if this team will even make the playoffs.

As for the Harden and Embiid pairing, it seems to be going better than expected. I can’t wait to see if the same fate awaits the Nets. It seems like that trade may end up being a win for both teams.

Nets had a great victory against Bucks and I found Seth Curry and Andre Drummond's contribution quite important for the victory. And at the other hand of the trade, 76ers also had huge benefits from this. Harden had a huge triple double in New York against the Knicks. I think 16 assists and 5 steals also are important. And the chemistry between him and Joel Embid. It seemed in these two games that they play like they are teammates for years. It is exciting time in the season because of this trade. I would favor both of the teams in my betting.

I think 76ers won that trade, ever since Harden started playing the 76ers have been winning games impressively, and Harden's production is very impressive as well. Imagine, Harden and Embiid are both contributing consistently every game, that is a huge for the team and they'll become a championship team.

Like what I previously mentioned, the tandem of Harden + Embiid reminds of that era where 1+2 PG and Big men used to dominate the ring. We all know on how capable Harden can be when he is with a Center that can finish his pick and rolls. Since that he is teamed up with arguably the best center on the league, he just fitted perfectly on the chemistry of the 76ers.

It has only been two games, but yes, I agree. He is indeed very effective when he is playing %100, but the question is, is he going to be consistent and playing his full capacity? He had great times with his previous teams but we can say he is not such a persistent player. With Nets, Harden, Durant and Kyrie played together only around 30 games. It is not only Harden's fault, of course, but he is one of the reasons. Neverteless, he started great with the Sixers so far and so promising. I agree with the chemistry comment. It has been such a short time but they seem like having great chemistry and the stats are showing. His triple double on his second game with the new team after the mid season trade, showing a lot of promise for team's future.

You have a point but right now I would keep my criticism about them since they are still winning games, maybe when they begin to struggle that's the time I will state my observation about their weakness, hopefully, that time will not come as Harden seems to enjoy on his new team, no rival on his position and he can do anything he wants.

Maybe someone from the Sixers really need to step up and become their outside threat? Danny Green could be their next big 3 point shooter or maybe Harris as well. Because they've beaten a weaker team and needed a burst in the fourth quarter to win. But what if it is one of the best team in the East, they might have problems as you have saying. So we will see if they can continue their dominant run or not.

I think that the most important game of the night is Miami Heat - Chicago Bulls tonight. Heat are favoured by an odd like 1.57 now but these teams are very close to each other in the regular season now. Heat are one position above Bulls by only one more win count. They have nearly the same forms in the recent times. Honestly, I'm not seeing Heat as very clear favourite to win this game. Bulls have very solid players and they wouldn't give up on this game at any point of it. And actually, I might try my luck by betting on Bulls win.

I think 76ers won that trade, ever since Harden started playing the 76ers have been winning games impressively, and Harden's production is very impressive as well. Look, it's incredible what's happening with the Lakers, another loss and this time against the Pelicans, LeBron did his part and scored 32 points and even then the Lakers lost, impressive. In fact AD is sorely missed on the team.

I think the Heat will take this but I still find it hard to believe Bulls are at 2.55 underdog. Score should be as close as it gets and betting on Bulls with +5.5 handicap at 1.8 isn't bad. It's not a guaranteed win of course but you could take that if you want a higher chance.

Sixers in the Finals is something that no one will anticipate, even prior to the previous season. They are getting well with their newly signed players especially James Harden which is now telling everyone that regardless of his team, he will still be at his best.

Joel Embiid is having a monster performance prior to that trade and with Harden arriving at the team, they have become a threat in the Eastern Conference.

That's what I like to see, a competitive Eastern Conference where before it's not the usual scene we are seeing between East teams.

He is proving to be an excellent player and consequently one of the best in the league.

I believe he will still evolve and acquire a lot of experience, because he is only 22 years old!!

The match between the Cavaliers and the Timberwolves was also very competitive. Although Cleveland tried in the last period, they could not win the match, we watched an exciting match until the last minute. Thanks to D'Angelo Russell and Karl Anthony Towns, Minnesota was able to win this game.

In a desperate attempt to try and keep the team afloat, the Lakers have released Deandre Jordan and plan to sign D.J. Augustin.  They're saying that Jordan will likely go on to play for the 76ers, who seem to be amassing as much talent as they can to make a run with Joel Embiid, who is playing the best basketball of his career while managing to stay healthy.  I'm not sure if this would be a good move for the Sixers or not, but James Harden and Deandre Jordan are both Brooklyn Nets survivors now of the KD/Kyrie pairing and might be able to bond over that shared experience...

Didn't see the footage but with what is happening right now with the team, maybe the highest position that they can join is in the play-in tournament already and I don't expect them to enter the playoffs as well. If that will happen then his 15 consecutive times of entering the playoffs will be broken.
Ninja Turtle (Westbrook) doesn't play the way they wanted to be. AD will miss again for several weeks. No one can step up and carry the team aside from Lebron. We are almost at the 3/4's of the season already and the playoffs will start in a few weeks. The chances of them entering the playoffs with how they are playing is very low and if they will, they will be eliminated again in the first round.

As for the Harden and Embiid pairing, it seems to be going better than expected. I can’t wait to see if the same fate awaits the Nets. It seems like that trade may end up being a win for both teams.

The Nets-Sixers trade is a win-win for both of the teams but Nets won the trade if you will just base on the players involved in the trade.
Harden made the Sixers strong since they aren't using Simmons anyway but Nets are stronger with their new players. Its just that their new big 3 isn't playing as usual. Lets wait for them to come back and play again. Many are still thinking for the Nets to win the championship this year.
