Finally, Lakes stopped their losing streak, Westbrook still has an awful shooting but good thing Melo is on the rescue, he helped AD to win the game which is a very important game for them. Without Lebron, winning a game would be harder, but at least they proved that they can win without him, hopefully they'll still win next game.

I think the Lakers are going through a very bad time. They've always been unsuccessful in the last games, I couldn't understand how they won the Brooklyn game
Anthony Davis is the most important name for this team right now. Westbrook is playing really badly, he needs to start playing well as soon as possible. I would love to see it go back to its old days

Barely! Still a good thing that they won against the Blazers. Westbrook isn't that consisted anymore and reliable to drive the ball because of his poor shooting this season, sometimes he's good but often times he's terrible. I really don't know what happened to this team but for me, I would like to see Howard and Carmelo more on the court rather than Westbrook.

By the way, today Dwight Howard made 10 points and 7 rebounds in just 10 minutes. What more if he's given more minutes every game, his talent is wasted on this team.

There are some times where Westbrook is carrying the game like in their game where he is hot but just missed the game winning shot but there are times where he is having a bad night like this one. With regards to Melo and Dwight, both of them are very efficient when they are in the court and I'm hoping that Coach Vogel will give more time to these 2 especially Dwight. I still remember when they won the championship in the bubble. Dwight is their center at that time and he is very good defender and rebounder as well. How in the hell Coach Vogel can't give him more minutes?

The guy does so much with the very few minutes he's given. It could be an internal conflict but whatever it is, if the Lakers want to get good results, Howard needs to play necessarily 25 to 30 minutes in my opinion.

I have started seeing Nets' chance for being the champions lower than before from now on. Because there is a very visible drop in their performance and the losing streak is getting bigger by each one of their games recently. Nets weren't this bad actually but something is really odd about them these days. Whatever the problem is, they need to solve it before the playoffs. Otherwise, we might not even see them in the conference finals. And this would be a big disappointment for the Nets fans and people who have big expectations from them.

KD is out for weeks and the team can't be carried by Kyrie or Harden. The thing with them is that they are totally reliant with their big 3 and if one is absent, then it's hard for them to take a win.

Although others have been stepping up, but it seems that is not enough. Blake is old and way past his prime, and so is LA. Only Claxton and Mills are really there, but they too are inconsistent. Maybe they can still make it to the playoffs, but it will be very difficult for them to be the Eastern champs.

They can't win without the support of the other role players.

I see the Nets now in a similar situation with the Lakers, they are also struggling when AD was injured and now the same thing happens when Lebron was not playing. These two teams (Lakers and Nets) were supposed to be the favorites to win the championship this season, but it seems like their struggle is real.

Exactly! That's the reason why basketball is played by 5 players per team, it's really hard for them to win every game when the other players are very reliant and doesn't contribute well.

I was about to say the same thing mate that the Nets does have a similar situation with the Lakers now Frankly, they should really work things out and figure what they lack if they want to play atleast in the playoffs. They won't go far if they continue these kinds of play.

Well, he is consistent in one thing, Turnovers lol.
He is indeed became inconsistent that's because the Lakers have a lot of options to score on their offensive end, while they always lack of efforts on the defensive end.
Pretty much everyone on the Laker roster has been inconsistent except for LeBron that's the main reason why they kept on lossing, they can't hold on to their lead.

While the Howard minutes issue might be because he has been committing fouls everytime lol. But yeah I agree, he should have more minutes, Lebron is not enough to cover the center position.

We have a Los Angeles rivalry tonight. Clippers are only one place up Lakers in the standings now. Lakers have lost many games recently and this caused them to lose many places. Lebron's absence affects the team really deeply. His current condition is doubtful for this game. He's suffered from knee injury and his situation is going to be clear right before the game. Clippers are lacking two of their star players like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard for a long time. But they are still doing nice. I think that they might beat Lakers here on the condition that Lebron isn't able to play.

Johnson, Bridges, Booker and Paul were on fire from Phoenix Suns in yesterday's match against Brooklyn Nets. Suns own the match. Brooklyn Nets was able to lead the 3rd round but yes Suns lead 3 round, 1, 2 and 4. The 1st round helped Suns to lead the match. Only 10 points differed for Nets to win the match. There were lovely quick passes within players in Suns team. Suns' next match is going to be with Hawks. Hope Suns will continue with their best performance.

Memphis Grizzlies are one of the very impressive teams of this season considering the performances so far. They won another game last night this time against New York Knicks by 120-108 and moved on. Ja Morant is one of their most valuable players now. His superb performance helps his team get wins a lot. He is very young and I think that he has a bright future ahead of him. He can be one of the best guards in history if he continues to improve his game every season. And we see Grizzlies at the third position in the Western Conference standings. I hope to see a solid playoff performance from them.

I don't know what the problem is, maybe it's an internal clash or political reasons but it needs to be fixed soon.

The thing is Vogel is an analyst coach, which means that he takes a look at the numbers they have and the numbers other teams have and watches game tape and tries to figure out plays and ways to stop it and so forth.

We have seen plenty of videos that explains how this is done, Lakers even shared a video of it themselves but the reality is that he still fails to see how great Howards could be. He sees Lebron at Center, he sees AD at Center who doesn't want to be there, and he still fails to see Howard there. I would have been long gone if I was Howard, he doesn't deserve to get this little amount of minutes, he is acted as if he is a washed terrible player but he is still good enough if you ask me.

And they will continue the next game and the odds favorite to win against the Hawks. Although this is a road game, the Suns with Booker and Paul looks very solid even at a hostile crowd. I would agree there's something going on behind the scenes with Howard.  Even last year when he tweeted that he had a deal to return to the Lakers, and then they went and signed Harrell for a ridiculous contract that didn't end up working out.  It was clear the Lakers were missing Howard last year and they made the wrong choice.  Had they just kept Howard they would have saved 10 million dollars and probably won another championship.  Seeing Vogel now not use Howard like he should be is just terrible coaching.  Nevertheless...

Lakers vs Clippers are going at it tonight for the battle of Los Angeles.  Lakers should be able to take this one easily as the Clippers are without their stars, but at this point I wouldn't doubt the Lakers could find a way to mess it up...  They're going to be a play-in team for sure at the end of the year if they don't get it together.

Lakers will have AD on their side so that alone would make them a favorite. The Clippers have no one but a group of players trying to breakout this season basically but I still would not underestimate them. They have also shown in their past road games that they will beat any team if they get careless. Problem is I don't know if the active players are already tired for this game.

I'm with the Lakers to win but there are lots of times already where we see Lakers in a good and healthy lineup being beaten by a team that is an underdog.

Clippers are already an underdog here by the others but I'm surprised they are the favorite to win the game. How is that possible? What's the reason that bookies are considered? I check the injury list and still the same and nothing new, Lebron on the Lakers, Kawhi, and PG on the Clippers. If we check the current players of both teams, the Lakers are an advantage. I don't know why the odds turned out like that.

They are the underdog in their home court, obviously they don't have a good record, but they can bang and compete against the best specially if they are playing in their home court. The T'Wolves are the favorite here, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pistons pull a surprise upset or T'Wolves might win but not enough to cover the initial spread (-6.5 if I'm not mistaken).

The Wolves are now leading, late in the 3rd, it was KAT who took over getting fouled and going to the free throws. And it seems that the Pistons are just a 3rd quarter team, now they are trailing 7 points and up.

Grant could be the centerpiece of this team, but he needs to be consistent and so is the supporting cast. They can't just go out and play good up to the 3rd quarter alone.

On the one hand, the Lakers have a good chance to win because Davis should dominate this match. On the other hand, it's risky to bet on their victory because they perform very unpredictably this season. By the way, it's funny that the Clippers without George and Leonard play better than the Lakers without James.
