I'm taking a look at the over under for wins this year and looking at the Knicks it seems low in my head.  High 30s (38.5), they had that last year and added a good point guard in jalen brunson.  They didn't have a pg last year which should easily add a coue wins.  And the young guys have another year under theor belt and didn't lose anyone too impactful.  Randle had a down year.  I'm not saying they are competing for anything significant but they have a way better shot hitting the over than the under on this.  Am I just being a Homer fan?  I can see them split the difference and hit low 40s, if luck is on the side maybe mid to high 40s?

Hard to predict mate, I guess we will have to see Randle's game first, I'm not worry about Jalen's play, for sure he will contribute big to the Knicks. However, after a stellar season for Julie prior to last year, his performance goes down hard last year. I'm sure you know as a Knicks fans that he was even booed as MSG. And they see him as their leader but again very inconsistent. So everything start from him. If he had another MVP numbers this season, then easy 40+ for them.

Yeah, it's almost impossible for old player to stay in basketball since every year there's a young generation who's more aggressive and fast that would outplayed old player. In the next few years he will get replaced by Jonathan Kuminga.

That's why maybe GSW management is thinking more deeply if they want to spend a lot of money just to sign him since he will might lose a lot since they have Poole which is so young and Looney which is more valuable for their money. So most provably the chance of green to get the contract he want is so slim especially right now he's facing a big controversy which most likely will affect his request.

Yeah, the way GSW handling the case shows that the management is not into something that they might regret in the

long run, they are analysing the situation and preventing any damaging publicities even there are
Interviews and writeup with Green's demands. It's difficult to let go someone who is part of your
core from that last season title, but for sure they will come up with decision and they will provide
details and update to why the decision has been made.

I think you could probably expect to have a similar win total as last year, only needing 1.5 more wins with these things that have changed, I'd say is a decent bet.  But then again I don't know the Knicks like you do and perhaps you are being a homer, I wouldn't know for sure lol. 

The Bulls win total is ugly. They've got it at 41.5 after having 46 wins last year.  Which I guess is fair being that the Bulls don't know yet what they're getting w/Ball, or if he even ends up playing at all in 2023 (which is sickening and pretty much ruins the season for me.  Not that I expected them to win it all w/him, but still, at least we'd get to see what the Bulls are really like at full health).

It looked so bad with the way he screamed and limped. He was able to get up and walked on his own as if it nothing happened so I expected him to be okay. It will probably take him a couple of weeks to completely recover.

Rolling your ankle from landing or stepping on someone else's foot is one of the worst things that could happen on the court. You would be considered lucky with just a sprain.

You're right. This incident will probably affect the Warriors' decision. It's worth noting that Warriors management had been very loyal to Green, and the Warriors could probably be the only team who could offer Green a big or max contract, even if he didn't deserve it. By the way, it's a fun fact that there are already rumors that Green might be in the Lakers next season.

I am sure that even though it feels like Green is a hothead, this guy is actually good at defending. But the problem with him is that he does not pose any kind of attacking threat at all. And he is only effective while attacking if he has the ball in his hands. Otherwise, he does not cause any problems for the opponent while attacking.

Draymond Green going to the Lakers is not going to be a good move for the Lakers in my opinion. That's exactly what I just said right now. He is not effective in the offense. And he is also not a necessity for the likers at this moment I believe.

I am sure that a lot of teams are going to want to get Green on the team. But the Lakers are not one of them. I think Brooklyn NETS might be a good destination for Green. The Nets might let Joe Harris and another player go to get Green. But I am just assuming.

Depends on the contract situation. Westbrook only has one year left, and so does Green if I am not wrong, which means that by the end of the year we are going to see both of them being fired or at least hired for much much cheaper.

But, Lebron is not getting any younger neither, sure he is going to be a good player even at 40, but to expect him to deliver a ring to Lakers all over again after 37-38 is something too much to ask from him, not impossible but would be very very tough, and I think even he would rather have someone better. So, it's clear that Green is not that guy, at the start of the year there was a talk between Irving-Westbrook trade, that's what they needed.

Indeed, we don't want to see another star going down in pre-season games because for sure it will be a big blow for the Hornets this season. Hopefully he just need to rest that sprain ankle and with few massages and shot of anti-inflammatory, he will be good.

Yeah, Wiseman had a great night. 18 points in 18 minutes and a +/- of 26. I hope Steve Kerr reconsiders and gives him some minutes this season. He’s one of the best young prospects in the NBA but has barely seen the floor. He’s also exactly what the Warriors need. I think in the post-Draymond era he’ll end up being one of the most important players on the team.

Getting and picking up injuries is what have bring some team down in expenses and performance also especially when it's one of the keyplayer that is injured and there's absolutely no backup for him. The coach would be forced to convert a player to his role in the team and before we know it, the team starts recording poor performance and results. The ankle injury won't take him out for long because he will also be doing some training inother to fasten his recovery process.

The Nets have guys that all create their own shot, so I don't expect that many of their attempts will be made off screens.  They're also not a run and gun type of team where Draymond's smaller size for his position plays an advantage.

True! Isolation plays will be the focus of the Brooklyn Nets and not like how they do it in the Warriors.

First time I watched an Orlando Magic game and they look pretty solid too. They won against the Grizzlies playing speed.
Paulo Banchero will definitely lift their team and IMO they actually look like the Grizzlies when Ja Morant came in as a rookie. Young team who uses speed as the core of their offense and kick-out plays.
Bamba and Harris were not able to play yet but they somehow squeeze a win, there was even a time in 1st quarter when they lead by almost 20.
I think they will reach the play-in tourney this season but if not, they won't be in the lowest seed anymore.

That was really heartbreaking because he is one of the star players that will be exploding this upcoming season. Thankfully it was not serious and he will get back soon after a few games of absence. I'm sure this will gonna make changes for the rest of remaining preseason for the star players, they cannot put their 100% to play in the preseason, but losing is not really that bad as long as they warmed up good and get ready for the real games to come.

I think the injury will just last after the preseason so we will see this talented young gun in the season and hope the rest that missed this preseason debut. I wouldn't be surprised as well, there are lot of players right now that is going to be exciting to watch if they're healthy and LaMelo is one of that, Zion, Kawhi to name a few.

Aside from the fact that he really have some skills, he is doing everything he could and bring a good performance even if it was just a pre-season game because he is aiming for the Warriors to give him an extension. I mean, any team could probably give him the figure he wanted because he is really a superstar in the making but only the Warriors these days can help him to have more rings in the future.

I believe the Warriors are giving Poole a great opportunity to grow. Not to mention, he will have some experienced players to help him, for example Curry and Thompson.
If he improves, gaining consistency and others important attributes, he will become a great diamond that the Warriors are polishing.

For sure Wiseman will be green lit this season, we have been waiting for Wiseman and we wanted to see how good this kid is since last year. Warriors are known to developed young talents, or at least has a keen eye for it. And they have a lot in the bench right now for them and yeah, he could be the future of the team if ever Draymond departs next year or not being sign by the Warriors.

Right, he already knows what to do in-terms of offensive play but what about during defense? People are hyping him especially from the Philippines because he will be the first full-blooded Filipino basketball player to play in the NBA, but his fans should also know that he is not that ready, and he will just get embarrassed because he is still raw mainly in his defense capabilities. He should work that out as his future role is a center, he can't avoid the times when there will be a player who will try to embarrass him inside.

Well, I am hyping him up because he is a fellow Filipino, but after that Exhibition match with the Oklahoma Thunder, he isn't showing great defensive skill, I know he is given just 8 mins to play in the game or if he's even having beef with not having the ball or the coach doesn't really recognize his potential I think all of them in the team is given equal time to be playing, he isn't just fit to be on the court the whole time, but I think he should have shown that he has what it take from offense to defense that he is ready, we Filipino really is quick to judge on a certain situation but we really don't get the whole picture of things,

Draymond Green is nothing without his desired teammates, the splash brothers, and the other championship core during their dominance. To cover his lack of good performance, he's now becoming the advisor of their young cores but sometimes, there's might be a time that he is below the belt.

I know Green already realized what he did wrong. He apologized to Poole already. That's the start of forming much-good chemistry between him and Poole.

I think social media really lit the fire to the extent that it became a forest fire, Draymond Green has said his apology and I think it is on Jordan Poole if he would accept that apology, Draymond and Steve Kerr added in his days playing with the Chicago Bulls it is pretty much standard for teammates to have something like this, and with Michael Jordan, on your team, it will be a lot of trash talking, this could be a normal trash talk gone pretty much bad, but amidst all of this fire lit if the two could say they're sorry and would definitely makeup, those bond will be a lot stronger I think this is just a friend fight and nothing that huge, the Warriors, in my opinion, could still stick as glue when it comes to the finals

Well, anyway this is really not a huge problem for the Golden State Warriors their real problem would be if they win the Championship title again those salary increases will be just as bad as their players have scuffled some altercation like this,

Only Warriors who can decide if they will give him the contract that he wanted, and yes, it's true that if in anyhow warriors will not
grant it and let him be available for a trade,

Other team will surely grab that opportunities and give him the contract might be possible that he will be offered much higher

For now, it will be on the Warriors decision making if what will they do with regard to Poole's contract.

If the warriors want to get Poole for cheap, they will wait for a year and let Poole go to a restricted free agent. They will then wait for offers from other teams and match the offer. Just like what the Suns had done to Ayton.

But if they want to lock down Poole and make him happy, they will offer the max extension. If they consider him as the future of GSW, they will surely make the offer. If not, they will just have to wait for a year and they can have him cheaper.

But Jordan Poole's family is looking at the opposite direction and wanted to sue Draymond Green because of his lack of unprofessionalism. Green's reasons doesn't change anything because it was his own fault as he brought his problems in their practice, now he got to pay the price because Poole's family is taking some legal action.

I've seen this news and while many have thought that the two were okay already. Here goes the news that Poole's family is pursuing to file a case against Draymond.
Well, that's a real family there that won't tolerate such violence that has been done to their family member. It's now on Poole's family if they're going to let it pass or if Draymond apologize to them for what he's done even though he's already said it.
It's always been a different approach when it's your family that has to deal with it.

I hope Poole can control his family if he still wants to play with Draymond. Otherwise, it will put stress between their relationship and the team as well. If it won't go well, I think GSW management will be forced to choose between Poole and Green, who will they keep and who will they trade.

That kind of confidence that once being given to Steph, and if Poole continues making that impact, it is safe to
assume that he might be the next main alpha of this team. He just needed to stay down like how Steph is doing
and let the fans bring more support, still young and just like how you describe it, he's a diamond that the team
is polishing and for sure it will be paid by millions of dollars. Just keep improving and let the future dictate for his
career's directions.
