Lebron James must be pretty angry with the team now. Because the team are still a mess as it is seen clearly from their results so far. They have won only 2 out of 10 games. Lebron is still doing his best and performing strongly despite being 37 years old. But the team are still struggling to get wins just as it was in the previous season.

Westbrook is still here. Lakers should have traded him with a more talented and consistent guard. If Lakers insist on not making the right transfer moves there is no way they are saving themselves out of this mess.

Lakers only won 2 games and Houston Rockets are at the same win also. I mean, come on. I like Rockets and they are incredibly young and promising. But Lakers should be better, come on.

At least it's a good news that Dwight Howard has found a home somewhere else, and so he can continue with his basketball career.

And there is no shame in playing somewhere else, maybe when he play better in other league, some NBA team will see that he still have it and maybe get him again. And there are players like Marbury who after their career is over in the NBA, became superstar in China and for sure still made a ton of money. And again, usually ex-NBA players find stardom in China or Taiwan league. Perhaps they have the advantage being an NBA player or it is really that they still have that fire inside of them to play hard every day.

Of course, it's nice that Dwight Howard will still be playing for a team. His age was quite advanced and he had actually entered a difficult period for the NBA, it is normal for him to be transferred to such a team when he cannot earn as much money as he wants.
But I wouldn't want a legendary player who has played for the best teams in the NBA all this time to play here to make money, instead he could play for a good team in Europe. Of course, his income would change accordingly, but at least he would have a chance to achieve something more in his career

I couldn't agree more. No offense to Taiwan but how challenging can their league be? Dwight Howard could be huge in Europe and the leagues are so much more fun. Spain, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Euroleague. He could have a big impact and overall more exciting for everyone. Fans, teams and Dwight Howard himself. Looks like Dwight Howard wasn’t able to convince the Golden State Warriors to offer him a contract. I’m a bit surprised nobody in the NBA wanted to sign him. He’s still one of the best bigs in the league in my opinion. Instead, he’ll be playing for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan. He’d better be careful over there and not get himself into a Griner situation. I bet he absolutely dominates that league though.

I was also surprised that no one has taken him. One of the best players in the league and then still no team would like to take him. He's by far one of the best assets that any team can have but sure they don't have him.

Or I think that there were some teams that have already shown interest on taking him but it is that he has signed first with T1 League for the Taoyuan Leopards.

While another player from another league which is from CBA, Tacko Fall is rumored that will be taking back by a team for NBA. It's still a rumor though.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Dwight Howard is one of the best players in the league.  In his prime he was an important asset but there's a reason that no team has picked him up yet.  At 37 and 20 years in the NBA he has a lot of wear and tear on him.  Good for him though.

I've said that because I'm really looking at him as one of the best and that's okay if we're different on that matter.

Whenever a player grows older and he's not that on his prime anymore, no team would be interested on you anymore. And I guess this is where most of the players will be going when they're on those range of ages.

To go into other leagues where they'll be treated like the kings and superstars while being on that team that taken them.

Dwight Howard signs deal with Taiwanese team Taoyuan Leopards

Dwight Howard has signed a deal with a Taiwanese professional team, the Taoyuan Leopards, he announced Monday. Howard, who has played 18 NBA seasons and made eight All-Star teams, played last season for the Los Angeles Lakers. However, after a disappointing year in his third stint in purple and gold, he could not find a new home in the NBA for this season. So, as he revealed on social media, he's headed to Taiwan.

Well, that ends the discussion about him.
He needs to make money and I think he is just doing what he is good at. Basketball. Anywhere, any league, as long as he is doing what he loves to do.
Taiwan league, I think he will dominate there, maybe we will hear news about an explosive career high in the next days to come.

Kyrie Irving if not injured will always find a way to mess up his team. I bumped earlier a post that Irving is meeting NBA commissioner Adam Silver. I wonder about the results of the meeting. The season is still young but I don't see a potential for Brooklyn Nets to contend for a title. KD might push for a trade again which I believe he should. KD is still performing well but he is just wasting his years in Brooklyn. I don't know what he sees in Irving before he committed himself to Brooklyn before.   

Anyways, they might hire Ime Udoka as its next coach. But imagine the image of the team.

Their interim coach Jacque Vaughn is doing a good job already. I don't think they should be gathering people with other issues in one team, the Brooklyn Nets could be wasting money by doing so.
I am just glad Steve Nash won't have to carry all the blame anymore. Still waiting for him to be called by another team to be their new head coach.

All Lakers players are to blame for the team's poor performance, and it makes absolutely no sense to put all the blame on one player, especially on Davis. Of course, Davis is prone to injury, and that's his main flaw. However, now he looks healthy and performs pretty well. So that rumor about trading Davis for Durant sounds unlikely. Besides, I can't even imagine how LeBron and Durant would perform together, given that those two guys couldn't share the ball between themselves.

I was really shocked by the result and looking at Luka Doncic's numbers are only 24, not the usual way he scores, because he was guarded by non-other than Bol Bol who block his fadeaway shot, and for the rest of the game Luka Doncic is having a hard time while being guarded by Bol Bol, and this really keeps on the Mavericks should have won this but the Magic have picked up momentum on the 4th quarter and Luka Doncic taking this game personal giving the ball and moving out quickly outside the court,

Charlotte Hornets VS Portland Trail Blazers SCORE 95 - 105 - WIN

The Hornets are doing great in the 1st quarter until the Trail Blazers have taken that in the 2nd Quarter until they are the ones that are now in the lead, Mason Plumlee had a double-double performance of 12 rebounds and 16 points, while Kelly Oubre Jr. got 16 points aswell, and Terry Rozier got 18 points but it was not enough to the Trail Blazers spread and Damian Lillard's 26 points,

This is one massive win for the Jazz, for sure the Utah Jazz got a beautiful spread Jordan Clarkson has 23 points while Lauri Markkanen has shown his true color by performing well and getting 32 points for this game when the team really needs it most,

This is really great even without Giannis Antetokounmpo the Milwaukee Buck have somehow pulled a win, because of players like Marjon Beauchamp, with 19 points  Brook Lopez, with a double-double performance of 13 rebounds and 24 points while Jevon Carter did an amazing job in getting a double-double of 12 assists and 36 points for the game,

Los Angeles Clippers VS Los Angeles Lakers SCORE 114 - 101 - WIN

Just like I told you, another loss for the Lakers, it seems that they are really consistent in getting those losses, while the Clippers are just getting it done from start to finish they are really dominating the lead,

I saw Clarkson one time getting frustrated with Kelly Olynyk because he is not passing the ball while Clarkson is asking for it, and when he did, it's a turnover. The problem is, no team is interested with Westbrook or at least the trade isn't favoring the Lakers that's why it ended up as nothing happened.

I don't know if somebody already knew it from the start but just by looking at their roster right before the season starts, you can already see that the Lakers will not be a playoff contender. See their role players, see their all-star players. LBJ is obviously not the same LBJ years ago that can carry the whole team by himself, AD is injury prone so every game for the Lakers is like his last game because anytime he can injure himself. I would like to commend Westbrook though because he is playing better on their last games when he isn't a starter.

What's good to see is that in an interview, Coach Darvin Ham is still optimistic despite of what's happening with the team right now. He always says positive things to the camera which is a good thing for me, and it might boost the morale of the team but nevertheless, let's not forget the fact that the Lakers right now are not a playoff contender team even if their big 3 will play the whole season which is impossible since there will be times where LBJ and AD will sit for some games.

With regards to the trade, I want the Lakers to push the reset button and start over again. Trade those superstars, get underrated role players and rebuild the whole team. See the Jazz right now, they don't have any all-star player in their roster but currently they are at the top spot.

I did not anticipated how the Lakers roster this year will turnout until the pre season. I knew they would still suck after seeing them play in the preseason.
But I was also quite sure that the Lakers will have a good defense, but not also sure how they will perform offensively.

KD's Nets are starting to heat up. They almost got 4 straight win if that game against the Mavs

Fans will always be fans and will look for some fault for which they can point their fingers. I saw those trade possibilities and most of them are fan-made but the team can really look at it if they want something to change. But isn't it going to be another start for them?
We saw how these superstars play all together and they're not really looking good to see. These teams should look at those teams that don't have many superstars yet doing better than them.

It seems that KD though has been explosive with the Nets, so not sure if the management is willing to trade him with AD that is very fragile and probably not as strong as he used to be because of his strings of injuries.

The Lakers problem though, when we thought that the team is worst last year, I think their roster is even worst right now. Shooting outside is nonexistant, last year they have Monk you can hit from the outside and penetrate and he is doing good with the Kings. Now everyone is shooting outside, but they have a poor percentage. For sure, Lebron is not liking what he see.
