Suns struggling and PG13 getting injured for the Clippers has opened the spot for those bottom seeded teams.

The Suns are missing Durant, as they were almost unbeatable with him. However, since he got injured, the Suns are back to normal as their bench is not that strong. This is a result of relying heavily on Durant. Regarding the Clippers, it is a big loss for them, but hopefully, they can still continue to play well and make it to the playoffs. If Paul George won't be able to return soon, Westbrook really needs to step up more.

The Warriors won 2 on their last 5 road games. Their next games will be on their home (4 games). If the Warriors will win all 4 of their home games, that might put them on the 4th seed at least. I don't want to say 3rd because the difference between 3rd and 4th are 5 games.

I think they can win all four games at home since they perform extremely well on their home court. Therefore, I'm positive that winning these games will help improve their ranking.

Most likely that will be the case for the Warriors, last stretch and it will be in their home, they have one of the best records at home so chances are they are going to win that.

As for the Phoenix, it's really hard to see them lost against the Lakers. But we all know that Lakers back is against the wall so they will have to win every game moving forward. They also good playing at home, and so back to back for them. Reaves, D'Lo and Anthony Davis took the game for the Lakers again and never look back. Although the Suns try to pressure them in the 4th, even in the last minute of the game to make it close, but the Lakers play smart.

Recently, the team has been performing well in the fourth quarter. They may not be a dominant team, but they have players who can step up and be clutch to give the team a boost. Not relying too much on Davis seems to make them better, and they have a good chance of making it to the play-in and possibly even the playoffs.

Their key to success is to continue playing hard and hopefully, their current momentum will not change.

So something really bad happened in the Mavericks game that will be entered in Shaqtin-A-Fool.
But, there's a catch. The Mavs are planning to pursue a protest about the mistake that happened and pinning it to the referees.

Looney reacted at the call of the referee because he thought he change it to Mavs ball. Then, the referee cleared that it was just pointing at the timeout call. So, it was clear it was GSW ball.
Wood even talked to the referee so someone in their team knew what was happening and what happened.
This is their mistake, no more questions and their protest will do nothing. It's all just their ego trying to fight back and being unable to swallow the truth.
Imagine, if the Mavs really think it is their ball, then why the hell is no one trying to inbound it at the other side of the court? That rant of Mark Cuban has nothing to back it up.

I believe that the Warriors were on a big losing streak before this. This win is going to be a good confidence booster for them. And I absolutely agree that the refs cannot be blamed in this situation. They did what was right in my opinion. It was the fault of the Mavs.

I’m waiting to see if the NBA takes action against Luka for his complaints about the referees. There’s a clip of him accusing the refs of having bet money on the Warriors due to how bad the officiating was. It's probably over for Lakers. If you look at the fixture you'll know they can't win most of these remaining games. In fact I'll be surprised if they get 4 wins in these 9 games. Only Rockets game look easy on paper. All other games are pretty hard or even for them. If Bron was back there could be some hope but in the current situation we can say that they have no chance.
For some reason, Lakers is talked about much more than other teams and the game they play in return is mediocre to say the least.

I think I might oppose that statement you gave because if the Lakers managed to defeat the Suns earlier, then I think they can probably manage to win most of the remaining games. It will be a tough challenge for sure but looking at the current roster now, they are much interesting to see especially now that AR15 is stepping up his game and contributing 30+ and 20+ point in their previous games. The way I see it, the Lakers got more chances now compared to previous roster that made them a weak team even if they are thriving so hard.

And with the Grizzlies winning and Kings losing, Memphis now separated from the tie with them, so now they are occupying the second spot behind Denver Nuggets.

Quite impressive for the Grizzlies because it has been expected that they will be having some struggles because Ja Morant is not yet playing and there's no Adams as well to support the team inside the paint. But the Grizzlies showed that they are not that weak even without Morant and even replaced the Kings in the 2nd place.

And they could maintain that same spot up until the season officially ends because if we look at it closely, the Grizzlies are just too difficult to overcome even without one of their core player which is Ja Morant and considering that they really managed to hold the team together, they could potentially end their last 10 games with over 5 wins at least. Other than that, Ja Morant may return before this season ends, so that gives them more chances to maintain their spot.

I still do not understand this childish request of AD not wanting to play the Center position. In todays game there are only a few nba bigs that could be better than him at center position, embiid and jokic comes to mind but aside from them AD could go against anyone and could be better than them as well.

I don't see him as childish though, maybe he is not that comfortable playing center in his career. Or he could be more effective at power forward because this is his position as he is not a true center in my opinion.

You're probably right that Anthony Davis feels uncomfortable in the center position. In addition, playing in that position means that the player often and sometimes struggles diligently against opponents for rebounds in the paint. Obviously, Davis shouldn't do that often because he's too prone to injury and can get injured literally because of any opponent's touch.

Bucks. This is the team that played with Giannis and no Kris Middleton and won, played with Kris and no Giannis and still won, and then played with neither Kris nor Giannis and still won and even went on a winning streak. They are so good that the team could be separated into different teams and all players would have a worse period, they would all play much worse, but when they are all together? They end up playing much better than their talent because everyone knows exactly what they should do AND knows what the other will do. They may not win the title, not every "best team in the league" wins the league, sometimes they end up losing the title, like the most famous 73-9 ended up losing the title as well, but Bucks is definitely the best one.

This is the kind of NBA which everyone loves to see, there's no certain team which we can say that'll dominate their respective conferences and play against each other in the finals. This ain't the 2010 where everyone are already anticipating the Miami Heat to be in the Finals again and again. Same with the GSW late in the 10's. So, this time of the year, we do not really have any idea who will play in the Finals. The Suns was an exemption, but that's before Durant injured himself.

It's too early to make statement like that considering that they just won over a top seeded Phoenix Suns. For me, I think they have the chance at least to make it on the play-in tourney but I wouldn't root for them that much too. I think LeBron may come back to play but that's still questionable but there are rumors that he may play on the last 4 or 3 remaining games for the regular season.

And so most likely, it could be the either the Bucks, Philly or Boston that can go on the finals for this year, not saying that this team will be the champion, but the chances are high for them as they are really above the East right now, and they have all the experience. Bucks also become a champion, Boston last year has a chance going up 2-0 against the Warriors. Philly though has the very tough experience against the Raptors (who eventually become the NBA champion that year).

But you gonna love the competition in the West, yeah, if you blink and you loss a game, you will skid 2 positions down and if you win, go 2 position up, hehehe. Nuggets shows some weakness already, and so even who ever they faces in the playoff, they will think they have a good chance to upset the number 1 seed. Memphis is good, but do they have the mentality or choke as playoff is very different.

That might be a good reference for those teams that might possibly end up facing the Denver Nuggets in the first round of playoffs however, I doubt those teams will really point out that "weakness" that the Nuggets is being shown this season.

Regardless of those worst performances that the Nuggets unexpectedly showed late this season, expect them to change once playoffs came. In a series game, teams will face the same team the whole series therefore, the adjustment per game will only be focused on the same team, different from season games where teams are facing different teams on their regular schedule.

If ever an upset happened though, another record will be added to the league's history where an 8th seed team upset the 1st seed team in the playoffs.

Well, carrying out a brief analysis of what was mentioned, I also believe that the Lakers have a little hope to get a seed in these playoffs, but for that to happen they need to be impeccable in the next games, as this will be something decisive for them. ..

OKC, Timberwolves, Mavs and Jazz, these are the other teams that are in a similar situation to the Lakers, that is, it will be extremely close competition for any team to get the last remaining seeds for these playoffs.
