The fact that D'angelo Russell, Anthony Davis and Lebron James were all missing and yet somehow Lakers managed to get a win is incredible. It is a sad situation that they aren't as high as they used to be, AD did fell a lot in the way he plays, Shaq is right about that, dude was a constant 20-10 threat and played some big minutes and definitely contributed a lot just a few years ago, he now looks like he is someone who is just filling a position.

I feel like Lebron can't carry a team anymore neither, not like those Cavs years where he brought some tanking level teams to finals anymore, so it is really looking bad for them, but this new trade period definitely made them a whole lot better for sure.

well, it's a big advantage when a team can get good results without depending on just one or two players, and that's something very difficult to happen, almost all teams depend on 1 or 2 players to get good results, in the case of lakers they it comes from a lot of inconsistency, it is normal to beat a strong opponent even without having Lebron James and in the next game they will lose against a weak team and with Lebron James and all the best players in the field playing

When Durant and Booker play together, the Suns can win the match very easily. Against the Hornets, I think they were pretty good. An injured Hornets team probably wasn't the best test but it was a good warm up with Durant.  Probably why they targeted this game instead of against the Bucks.  Durant played great but Booker was still the leader of the team out there.  I suspect that will slowly start to change but for now Booker is the one hoisting all the shots.  You can't look passed the fact that Durant in his first game back shot 66% from the field and looked good out there.  So strange seeing him shoot three pointers in a Suns uniform.  That's something I didn't really think I'd ever see but am happy that it's happening.  I need to take a look at the schedule and pick a game to see him live.

True, the Suns waited for this moment, to bring Durant against a not so good team in Hornets, to just get his blood going in the game and we are not disappointed. But for sure he will still be in restriction, he just got back from another injury so most likely 20 minutes per game for him will be enough to see how he is. Tomorrow another team that they have a good chance to beat is the Bulls, and then on March 6 it will be Kyrie and Durant facing each other for the first time after the trade.

To say it would be "easy" for the Suns to always win with Durant and Booker playing together will be subjective.

It's not that this team is 100% unbeatable even if Durant is added to their roster.

Obviously, other teams will also do some adjustments as they know they are dealing with a new Phoenix Suns.

Durant is no doubt an added boost to the Suns and the fact that this team can advance to playoffs prior to when they acquired Durant, makes them tougher to beat by any team. But honestly, even without injuries that will happen during the playoffs, always remember that sometimes,  sh*t happened in the middle of the series.

Dame cannot run the offensive play over and over, it's too predictable. I don't think he will ever get that championship that he wanted unless he is traded.

Don't expect too much for the Trail Blazers.

Lillard has many chances of him being traded, but he opted to stay with Portland because loyalty is more important to him than championships. Their offense like you said is very predictable and we saw it against the Warriors a few days ago where the Warriors just locked in on Lillard, didn't let him touch the ball and the whole Blazers team crumbled and lost to them.

Grant and Simmons is trying to help like you said, but with Simons getting injured, it's like they don't have another option anymore. If opposing team lock on Dame again and Simons is currently injured, who will be the main scorer of the team? Grant obviously is one, but he can't do it alone. They need more players that will help in terms of offense. They need players that can step up offensively, and unfortunately they don't have that as of this moment. Currently, they are now at the 12th spot, but with how tight Western Conference is, a mere 3 or 5 game win streak might put them to the play-in spot.

That's what Pelicans did in the whole 4th quarter using Herb Jones's strength and length to defend him, it ended well for them as they won the game.
Kick-out play is the solution that I can see for them. When Lillard is attacking the paint, he is like Steph Curry who can absorb a lot of defenders to stop him. But the key to a successful kick-out play is a good shooter. Thybulle can shoot but he is always cold, he must consistently make some early shots to get his rhythm. Nassir is on and off and so is Reddish, they need a real sniper.

Well, they can always just limit his minutes. He doesn't have to play 36-40 minutes at all because Booker will be there to fill in.
They had a strong play before KD came in, they don't really have to change that, and KD is used to isolation plays so it actually just made them better when they needed someone to score or spread the floor.

There's no doubt that the 76ers are a strong team but they successfully managed to beat them and based on the post I saw earlier, Kyrie and Luka are the first players to score 40+ point together in a single game in the Dallas Mavericks franchise. Most of the time for two talented players to sync their talent together is to play more games and the more they stay healthy and plays long minute together, they will gonna strengthen their chemistry which will positively help them to stay in the playoff tree ranking.

Nevertheless, the Lakers will take every bit of positive news they can get. While an imminent return for LeBron James doesn’t seem likely, he and the Lakers dodged a major bullet. Per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, James will not have to undergo surgery on his injured foot.

That's twice now.
They did it too against the Portland Trail Blazers scoring 39 versus 17 in the 3rd quarter. The Warriors are feeling the chemistry once again and I love how Klay is trying to be more competitive too. I watched the whole game, I saw him everywhere, he does the points, rebounds, and making plays. That's the classic Klay Thompson that we once knew before he was injured and it's all coming back now.
Jordan Poole still has some polishing to do but he is doing well on the offensive end.
I didn't like how Coach Ty Lue already waved the white flag with 7 minutes remaining in the game but when I saw their schedule, I did understand. The Clippers have a game tomorrow GMT+8/later for ET versus the Sacramento Kings. They will need all their energy if they are aiming to snatch the win on the road.
