Dude, I really like KCP.

He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.

The Nuggets' management will make a big mistake if they don't keep their current roster for at least one more season. As for KCP, he's under contract with the Nuggets until the end of the 24/25 season. So I wouldn't worry about him because he will most likely be with the Nuggets.
Anyway, the season is officially over, and now it's offseason time. I even wonder if there will be any major trades between other teams this summer or not.

I'm assuming that big trades will take place after we witness great improvement with the Nugget's lineup.

They are complete in terms of individual capabilities, the role players are producing numbers that really helps the team when it's
needed, I'm sure that the management will try to keep them as it is till the next season, more on other teams to take a good
trade to matchup with the Nuggets.

Glad that the season is over.

Yes this season doesnt have the spicy we needed in NBA. i hope next season we can see some more show and great games.
Dude, this season is crazy as other teams you didn’t expect to win actually won the championship and if your team didn’t make into the playoff doesn’t mean the season is boring. A lot of players step up and with the Denver team, they prove that they don’t need to be a superstar just to help the team to get a win, that was a total effort for Denver and this is a great season too.

I think they need one more player to be even better, I'm thinking someone like Doncic would fit them perfectly he is good friend with Jokic and I think he would thrive in Nuggets. With that happening I see them win couple of championships more.

That’s true, I didn’t expect Denver to win the title though they are very consistent from the elimination round up to the championship game of NBA, they really deserve the title and the played as a whole team for this season. They are more dangerous in the future, and next season for sure Denver will still be a contender especially if they are going to keep their players and have some good addition.

Getting Doncic is not really realistic - cannot see Dallas really letting him go. Denver's biggest strength is their cadre of two-way role players is a great match for the creation abilities of both Joker and Murray. Gutting the roster for another star essentially doubling Jokic's playmaking role would be counterproductive.

The Denver core is still pretty young. They should just get a couple reinforcements via vet min contracts and run it back with the team they have. It's not like there are a lot of up-and-coming teams to leapfrog them talent-wise:
Warriors and Lakers are kinda old
Boston is super inconsistent
Miami seems to always be two players away
Philadelphia has Harden who will be either gone or older and less efficient
Phoenix looks to be kinda top heavy and a team Denver should match up well against

Not saying Denver will go all the way again, but it doesn't look as if they need to make major changes.

Lol how would you think that is even possible?  In order to get doncic they would probably need to part with jokic.  That is some nba2k wish list type team.  Dallas isn't going to part with doncic unless it would be for an insane package back.  Why would Denver gut theor team that just dominated the season wire to wire.  You go with your core that got you there and sprinkle in some bench players.  Oh amd then there is that thing called a salary cap..

Heck of a final game closing out the NBA season last night!  The Miami Heat kept it close, and had staged a pretty nice comeback, but the Denver team was just too dominant.  That absolutely dominated the Heat down low.  They had no chance at winning the title with Jokic just being so hard to stop in the paint .

I didn't put any money on it though I should have because I was going to take Miami +9.  I guess there's always next year lol.

They are also good as a team, no need to add another player to make them look good. KCP and Brown are enough for them to play defense ad come from the bench if needed. Jokic is MVP caliber, Murray is the second scorer and Porter Jr the 3rd.

Doncic is out of the question, he could be the franchise player of the Mavs. But hopefully he can bring the championship to the team just like what Dirk did to them. If he was able to do that, then I think he could be equal or even surpassed Dirk as the greatest Mavs of all time.

KCP is now twice a NBA champion, first with the Lakers and now with Denver Nuggets.

He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.

I really don't know what the Lakers traded him though, I guess it's just the series of the Lakers trying to upgrade their roster and getting rid of him. And I think Lebron has confidence in KCP, perhaps it was just the mentality.

But they won a ring together so that's good. And now another one for KCP this time with Jokic. And if I'm not mistaken, there is another former Laker on that roster, which is Thomas Bryant, who requested to be traded at the deadline because he doesn't want the minutes and exposure he got from the Lakers when AD comes back. However, he didn't play that much with the Nuggets as well, but still he is an NBA champion as well.

Le-GM wants Westbrook that badly at that time that he's willing to give up players just to get him.
Well, we saw what happened to the Lakers after that controversial trade I would say.

Aside from the players you've said. Let's give credits to DeAndre Jordan as well who didn't play in the whole NBA Finals obviously, but did got a championship ring. He even surpassed his old teammate CP3 who until now doesn't have ring at all, and now has been waived from the Suns. Ish Smith who played for 13 teams for 13 NBA seasons. Jeff Green, the veteran on the team who now got a title. Now the question is will the same Nuggets roster can repeat it. It's too early I guess, so let them enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

I just want to ask because I want to have a different topic here aside from the ones that you have right now. We know already that Lillard wants to be out of Trail Blazers already. Now there hasn't been any confirmation, but the team that might suit him the best is the Miami Heat. What do you think? Will Lillard really fit with the Heat, and if yes, who will be the ones that they're willing to give for him?

I have reservations about Lillard's suitability for the Miami Heat. His style of demanding the ball and taking many shots may not align with the Heat's system, where players work diligently and share the ball effectively. However, if he is willing to make adjustments, I believe he has the potential to fit in well. Moreover, Lillard is a remarkable individual, and if he can adapt to the team's system, there should be no problem integrating smoothly.

You can never tell until you see him play. I'm sure he isn't inconsistent like Westbrook, and just imagine if the Heat were to acquire Lillard and pair him with Butler. They would become more unpredictable, as both Butler and Lillard could carry the team. Additionally, Lillard would learn to play great defense, an aspect they didn't emphasize as much in Portland.

I also quite like KCP because the way he plays, in my opinion, often gives unexpected surprises that makes opposing players a little confused about taking action.

KCP is a good role player because he has matured and has a strong desire to win games. He also knows how to play defense, making his minutes on the floor highly productive, even if he struggles with his shooting at times. The Nuggets were fortunate to have him. If the Lakers had not traded him, he might have been able to contribute to their campaign last season.
Yes, that's why KCP is very valuable for the Nuggets and he is quite dominating in every game.
This is a good step to be able to make the Nuggets become champions again for next season.

It looks like the Lakers had a bit of a let down having traded him and he's proven to be a player every team he plays for can count on.
If the Nuggets also trade KCP it's possible the Lakers will buy it again but that looks unlikely until next time.

The Nuggets will likely be the favorite to win the championship next season, but I believe other teams will also improve due to the upcoming trades. You know what I'm saying. At least the new season will be more competitive since the team that won the championship this year is not a super team, unlike in the past when the Warriors and the Cavaliers won their respective championships.

Missed opportunity.  Cheesy

They played high-level defense, on both teams. Denver Nuggets is in foul trouble this time and the Miami Heat forgot to abuse that. They should've given everything to Bam or Butler since Gordon and Jokic are out for a long time.
How about DeAndre Jordan? Played just 3 minutes in the Finals and yet made 1 block and a ring.  Grin Then, there's the rookie Christian Braun with a record of winning both championships in the NCAA and NBA in back-to-back seasons. That was something, he is only the 5th player who has done that and it's not like he is a pure bench, he is playing 10-15 minutes a game in the playoffs and in the most crucial moments of their careers. I love that kid, he is pouring with confidence, we might hear his name more in the seasons to come.

I am deeply sad for Butler as he is always a step away to claim the championship but he proved again that they cannot mess around with the Heat team even undermanned or in the 8th seed. Must always play like your opponents are the best in the league.

If he fits with the system maybe he can be a good addition to the team, but my personal take, Miami needs big role player
who can help Bam inside.

They are missing shots and they only got slim chance to grab the offensive rebounds, with big man inside the chance of getting another
chance will give them opportunity to reset the rotation.

But like what you said, we never know till we see them playing together. Let see if Heat will go and offer him something.

The Heat have suddenly started playing like the Warriors, heavily relying on their 3-point shooting despite not being known for it. Their big men consist of Kevin Love and Zeller, both of whom have already passed their primes. If they manage to add another big man, although it's uncertain who that would be, I believe they will improve.

However, it would be difficult to resist the allure of Lillard. If he wants to be traded, the question remains: who would be traded for him? Alternatively, if he becomes a free agent, can the Heat's salary cap accommodate him?

No they are not relying on 3s only but also on points in paint. Adebayo creates impact inside and he is the one lifting up Heat in finals series.

Its just Heat is not enough with what Nuggets current roster. Maybe they need to add more wing guys and maybe a big man who can defend Jokic since this is their main problem. But let see what this team can do on off season since for sure they are planning for their bounce back since they miss a chance to take the championship this season.

And just like the Warriors, you live and die on the 3 point line, and that's exactly what happened to game 3 and 4, when the Heat thought that they can win on the 3 point range or outside shooting, comes a bad shooting night for them. And after that they never recovered.

To early to talk about what's going to happen and who's who on the trading block unless it's going to be confirmed.

Lillard prime years though might be gone with all the injuries he suffered.

KCP is now twice a NBA champion, first with the Lakers and now with Denver Nuggets.
Dude, I really like KCP.

He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.

I guess it's kinda late for Lillard to ask for trade, but not sure what Miami Heat though? We know that Kevin Love wanted to play with Portland as he is a native on that city and we thought that he will move and then played with Lilliard.

So not sure if that will be a good trade if ever though, seems that Miami is really set to just have low key players. Of course they have Butler, but he is a good leader and I doubt that Pat Riley is wiling to trade with his superstars. Plus Dame has been plagued with injuries already that's why I said it's kinda late for him or even the Blazers to trade him. But let's see, how it goes, maybe some other teams are willing to pick up his services.
