If we want to read lackluster summaries of games I go to ESPN or something, no need to post those in here just to boost your postings output for the campaign.  Somehow it's always the same with some guys here, actually sad to see because there are also some people in this thread that love the NBA and basketball in general.

About Anthony Davis, I don't think it makes sense to trade him cause what are they expecting to get back in return I wonder. No team would send high value assets for an injury prone gut that is past his prime (and body shape). Imagine they would trade him for (let's pick a random name) KAT for example. This would mean they basically traded Luka for KAT. 
Dallas is straight up fuxxed whatever they do, all thanks to this nonsense they did with Luka. Destroying a franchise in 1 day, just amazing.

When the game didn't start we can say that Lakers have more higher chance to win in this game, but result shows different.

Look at quarter 1st to 4th score. Only at 4th Lakers manage to outscored Spurs and as result the young guns advance on next round in NBA cup and Lakers fall down in their hands.

Next assignment of Spurs is so difficult, because they are facing OKC which is in hot streak. But well see if Spurs can able to handle well the OKC and excited to watch their game.

Last night was a very comfortable game for OKC. OKC beat Phoenix Suns by 49 points at home and advanced to the semifinals.
I think they will win the cup.

I don't know if he is the only athlete right now that can sustained this magical run of his and still not going to be defeated by father time. Although they didn't win against the Spurs. San Antonio are heading to Vegas for the NBA Cup Semifinals.

With his age the dunk is amazing there is no other person you can compare to him with it comes to the age and able to do things, but with that he needs to have rest, and better conditioning , I think this is what other players failed at on keeping their body healthy and spending money just to stay fit, LeBron is the goat of this era for sure, and MJ has his own, no offense to MJ fans, but we got our own opinions, the San Antonio has a good night, getting distance in scoring early, and make the lakers at bay.

The Lakers completely fell apart, it was clear early in the game. Luka was struggling alone, the others seemed to be asleep. The Spurs' youngsters were also relentless, playing brilliantly. Smart scoring 26 points is already a sign of "we're finished," he normally wouldn't even attempt a shot. Nobody can easily challenge OKC in this form. If the Lakers continue like this, they'll throw the season away, the situation is dire.

He's a liability now for Dallas, there are other forwards/centers that can fill his role to be honest in their roster but most of them are injury prone too. If they want to rebuild that team I guess they need to keep Nembhard or Flagg or build around them. Davis is probably a good trade asset for more future picks if they can pull that one if they really want to trade him or some young rising stars in the league. It's probably a curse Luka give to them for trading him.

I think too that Flagg and Nembhard are already promising young talent for the Mavs. They should start releasing all the liabilities player while they still have value to slowly build again with you g talents like what OKC did.

I’m sure it’s hard to recover on Luka epic failed trade but the damage is already done and they should start from scratch again. They have lots of injured players that might comeback again next year which is good for trade.

So since that was the semis, it’s OKC vs Spurs in the finals… honestly not that interesting.
It would’ve been a lot better if the Lakers made it, but they were just too weak.

I think the problem with the Lakers is that, Doncic was just on a one man game mission and he couldn't do it alone, while for the Spurs it was a collective effort.

That’s their strategy this season. They want Luka to lead the team, and that’s exactly what happened.

The Lakers are just overrated. They lost by around 30 points in OKC, so they didn’t deserve to face OKC anyway. Now it’s the Spurs’ turn. They’re still undermanned and missing their best player, but I’m hoping we still get a good NBA Cup finals. Since there’s no home court here, it’s a fair venue, and hopefully some Spurs fans show up too.

With the way OKC is playing, they’re almost unbeatable. But the Spurs already showed they can upset a fan-favorite team like the Lakers, so it’s not impossible for them to shock OKC as well. Just hoping…

Lakers did have a bad defense in that game, losing to Spurs wasn't about offense, you can't take a look at the stat sheet of lakers and see what went wrong, because in the stat sheet it looks like all the lakers players played well, you have to look at Spurs one to see the difference.

Even without Wemby they still managed to win, which was unlikely and nobody expected to be fair, nobody saw Castle scoring 30 points for example, and yes the bench played very good too, definitely better than lakers bench. The problem with Lakers is defense and as long as they do not fix that, they are not going to do anything in the playoffs neither when that time comes, they have to find a way to be a lot more defensive when needed.

We need to talk about that too, no idea what they are going to do but regular seasons are getitng less and less views, even the finals are not getting as much views as it used to, there is just not enough media around it anymore as much as we used to have.

They are and in my perspective they should be retained or not be traded with. I never expected Ryan Nembhard to be that good offensively but when he got to starting lineup, damn, that's a star in the making, he's not wasting his minutes.

They are surely the favorite and it looks like I'm seeing them matching with New York in the NBA Cup Finals. People are finally not drawn to sports already or they prefer other sports now over basketball like NBA. It feels like only the gamblers and fandoms are watching NBA right now especially regular season.

Well this was a pleasant surprise this morning seeing that the Lakers who were the favorites going to the finals lost to San Antonio Spurs last night. So they will be facing OKC for the NBA Cup quarter-finals instead.
I don't know what to make of this one since it is an in-play tournament finals so want to see if a Wembly-less Spurs team can handle such a powerhouse and with a huge flawless performance against the Suns last night beating them by 49 points.
Believe that is their 16th straight win, I have honestly lost count and know they dropped a game to Portland back on November 4th last I remember.
But Oklahoma are tied for the record currently held by the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors for the best 25-game start in NBA history.
Let's see what happens during the Cup quarter finals to see if they can break that.

They really need to bring their A game against OKC, I don't think they can upset them in the Cup finals without Wemby. And even if Wemby is present, they also had a big guy in Chet that can give Wemby a problem inside. And we all know that the Thunder is also one of the best defensive them so it's another facet of them why they are the best team right now and we haven't seen a great start like what they did this season for many years.

So in order for the Spurs to win, everyone should be in complete unison. Very hard to stop as well the current MVP and we all know that referees are favoring him with just a bump, they will call a foul against him. Very hard for coaches now to design a play on how to beat OKC, no blue print yet unless the Thunder had a bad night shooting, maybe 30% for the field and their defense somewhat fall apart.

Yes OKC is on its way to win the cup, and probably the NBA title if things goes OKC way, they are too dominant at this point, and there are no teams at the moment can match their force but things might change in the playoffs, they might give OKC a little bit of a fight even the east don't have the team to defeat them when in the finals if they can make it, what are your thoughts is the OKC will have a back to back tittle or even a 3 rings in three seasons?
