Surprise, surprise, the Bucks won against the Celtics. 

Did anyone catch how much the odds were? Or the spreads? I bet it's a good risky bet, and congratulations to whoever placed their bet for them. No Giannis, but Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis helped the team on the offensive end to gain a safe win with a 15-point lead at the end of regulation.

That is after 2 consecutive losses. One at home and one on the road. I don't really expect anything from them, and Kuzma said it himself, "it's a pivotal time for them, sink or swim." With the trade rumors about Giannis circulating, the energy of the Bucks could fall, and yet they won yesterday against one of the strong teams in the East.

The Timberwolves and Warriors matchup tonight is the only game I’d want to watch tonight. Unfortunately I will be unable to, but Steph and Anthony Edwards will surely be putting on a show.

Picking OKC and NY on this game...

Thunder and Spurs go face-to-face for the first time this season. Wembanyama's condition is still unclear if I'm not mistaken. But they are trying to have him in this game. But I think it would only help Spurs lose by a smaller gap. 

When it comes to Knicks I'm not so sure about them against Magic. They already played 3 games this season. Magic beat them twice. I know Franz Wagner is injured but still they aren't that weak.

I still think this matchup is going to be great to watch, specially if Wemby is back against the best team in the West. Wemby vs Chet will be one of a hell in the middle. But i do agree that I don't see San Antonio winning against the Thunder.

On the other hand the Knicks vs Magic will be unpredictable and it could be down in the wire and could be very close. They are amongst the top teams in the East so I don't see any of them pulling a big margin win.

Rockets won Clippers game. Alperen was back. Made double double. 22 points and 15 rebounds. im happy him to back. Love watching KD and Alperen duo. Actually they struggled a lot against Zubac. Zubac did 34 pts (season high). But they could win at the end.

They will surely struggle since Zubac is a very tough center while Alperen is not playing as a hardcore center anymore rather a power forward game so a tough center will surely give him a problem now.

The advantage of Rockets new line-up is there already multiple option available for them to penetrate the enemy defense that makes them so hard to beat when Alperen is online already.

That is why they got Adams and Capela to help Alperen whenever there are centres like that. But in many cases when there isn't the typical 7+ feet tall heavy centre inside, they put Alperen at centre and Durant at power forward because of their height.

So it does work well for them whenever they are doing that, like in a game against Warriors where they put some minutes where Draymond is centre, those type of moments where they shine a lot. But many teams at the top have a great centre, so there will be not that many minutes with Alperen at centre, he will continue to be at power forward for a while more.

Their past championship create debate since many people really think that if Haliburton didn't got injured maybe we see a different result of that game.

But win is a win and seems faith is all in favor with their team at that time then they get their very first championship.

If OKC would able to win another championship this year those doubts would provably go away then people would talk about OKC dynasty just like on early days of GSW on which got amaze on the team achievements they get.

At this point, it requires a huge injury list to make OKC not win the title. Everything shows that they are going to end up winning the title this season and there aren't even any team that is remotely close to them and would pose a challenge. Last year Indiana was decent, but with Haliburton gone, they weren't even a risk for OKC, and was easily defeated, and even if he played, I would assume OKC would have a great chance.

Plus OKC is getting experience playing each other so they are growing and becoming better too. Only thing that can stop them, is what stopped Warriors too, which is time and not being able to keep everyone together. These players, the role player ones, will get great offers everywhere else, so the core will break up eventually, and the main ones like SGA will grow old too.

Changing their head coach is the biggest decision that they've made. Hiring Bickerstaff really is the game changer for the team, and because of him, the Pistons are now at the top of the East already. From being at the bottom around 2 years ago to now competing in the East and currently at the top.

The Pistons are a strong team indeed, but I looked at their losses right now, and it's against the top East teams like the Cavaliers, Magic and the Celtics. I excluded the Bucks because they're dysfunctional currently, and the Bulls aren't a playoff contender team just by looking at their current record right now. I hope that they will not lose 2 consecutive against those top 3 teams or else, there's a chance that they might get bounced back during the playoffs.

Distributed offense is really very hard to counter, and it's good that they have Cade where he can shoot, but he can be a playmaker as well and in the current league, it's kind of hard to find players like that. The Pistons really are lucky to draft him. It's also good that the roster consists of good role players around him as well. They already have an experience in the playoffs last season so let's see how they will play this regular season AND in the playoffs.

That's how OKC spread their stats sheet too and this is just my wild assumption but I think both of these top team on East and West will be the one to duel for that ring if only both of their core roster are healthy. Both teams has young talents and it's not impossible considering their last matchups was intensely close especially the last two matchups this 2025 although Thunder made it 2-0. I think it will be different this time with the current state of Pistons players though, they're more good than before, I guess they can head to head with them.

This team has a potential to upset teams, because they are just lowkey strong, my only concern in that line up is Tobias, he has the reputation to be unproductive when it come playoff times , i just hope that he has change, because when he is in the sixers he always disappear in the playoffs , and i don't want it to happen to the pistons, if they can control those things, they will be hard to beat just like you said, teams will have hard time because everyone can be a threat in the court.

If I don't remember wrong Celtics were around 1.25-1.30 and Bucks had 4.20 odds. What an opportunity that was though! 

We shouldn't overlook Porter's triple-double performance as well by the way. But especially Kuzma played very extra man. He doesn't score this many regularly in the end.

Jaylen Brown scored 30 again but it wasn't enough to save the team. By the way about Giannis I don't think he will stay any longer.

Damn, Klay really on a losing streak. First the bad situation being stuck with a Luka less team and in general of course, just not as happy go lucky as it was back in the bay.

It’s either they start negotiating and get some valuable players and future picks, or if he decides to opt out, they won’t get anything at all. So they should start looking into it.

Hm, im on the opinion that this win is just a one off, and i wouldnt read too much into it. Yes the Bucks beat the Celtics and yes, the odds were probably juicy but this feels more like a one-off emotional win than a real turning point. we have seen this story before in the NBA...a star is out, the pressure is high and everyone plays above their usual level for one or two nights, and then reality kicks back in. Kuzma and Portis stepping up is nice but that not a sustainable formula agaisnt top teams over a strech of games. The "sink or swim: quote actually says everything. This team is unstable, two staight losses before this game, uncertainty around Giannis. Beating Boston once doesnt erase those problems, it just mask them for a night.

If a team has all or almost all of its players capable of scoring and defending well, rather than just two or three players in the starting lineup, then that team will be very difficult to beat. In this regard, the Pistons are doing well, as they have made significant progress in recent years. I think it will be interesting to see how they perform in the playoffs this season.

After reading this i just watched the game replay as well. They played an incredible game against Atlanta last night. Eight players finished in double figures. The others scored 9, 9, 8, 7, and 4. No one scored more than 20 points and they still won the game. I honestly can’t remember seeing this kind of stat line very often.

This is really better for Bucks because if they let someone will control their team and they are way so down in standings then provably that they won't get those best result they want.

Bucks should look for trade now especially that Giannis is not happy in their team. For sure they can get lots of quality players in exchange with him since their star still got huge value in trade market. Its time for them to rebuild and look for better players which they can totally control. No offense Giannis is good but if he always show his frustration to his team their chemistry will get ruined and that is so bad for their team. As result maybe this is the reason why we have seen Bucks is struggling.
