2026 NBA Season

Zion Williamson looks good though, he’s back and playing well, and it’s nice seeing him move like that again. Unfortunately it still looks like the Pelicans won’t make the playoffs this season, but hopefully Zion can at least finish the year healthy without another injury.

I’m happy for him, but not really for the Pelicans as a whole. They’re at the bottom right now, worst in the West to be exact with a 12–37 record, and there’s just no realistic way they make the playoffs unless some miracle happens. Because of that, there’s really no pressure on Zion, he can even play below his normal level and it wouldn’t change much since he’s not in the MVP conversation anyway. That said, going 4–6 in their last 10 games is still an improvement, at least it shows some progress.

They'll probably want to rebuild this team by tanking it and have some miracle for picks and make some good trades around that will probably involve Zion or probably DQ. I'd better keep DQ, Zion has been consistent to be injured throughout his career and I don't think his body could improve now that he's ageing. They gotta keep Murphy, Bey and Jones I guess, although the latter seems injury prone too.

KD used a key word for Alperen’s game. demoralizing... It’s not just about scoring points. Like Durant said, even if the defense does everything right and rotates perfectly, Alperen still finds a way to put that ball in the hoop. It just breaks the opponent's game plan and their spirit. it’s the kind of playstyle that completely messes with a defender’s head.

That’s how smart he really is, super underrated player. If Durant can actually help this Rockets team take a big step this season, even just a deep playoff run or Finals appearance, that already puts him back in the championship picture, and at the same time it elevates Alperen a lot. He’s starting to show that Jokic-type impact, not flashy and obviously different, but just a smart big man who reads the game well and always looks to make the right pass.

Right now, KD is 6th on the NBA all time scoring list. I really think he’ll finish in the top 4 by the time he retires he definitely deserves it. To be honest, he could have even more points if he really wanted to. If he had better luck or made different choices, he’d probably have a few more rings, too. He’s exactly what Houston needs to get to the next level.

Alperen Şengün's development is progressing very quickly. It would be a huge disgrace if he isn't selected as an All-Star. He's playing better than last season and the statistics show it. This season he's averaging 21.5 ppg, 9 rpg and 6.4 apg. Only his rebound numbers are lower than last year, but there is a significant improvement in all other stats. He's creating an impact for the Rockets similar to what Hakeem Olajuwon did. He and Durant get along very well. They are one of the top 4 teams in the tough Western Conference. I don't know how far they'll go, but it's been a pleasure to watch their development as a team over the last 2 seasons.

I do hope that this trade will happen because the Warriors desperately need a player right now that could help Curry on offense, and Wiggins MIGHT be that one now that Butler is out for the whole season. As of this moment, these are just rumors, and there's no significant trade that happened aside from the Trae Young trade... because that's the only trade that has ever happened since the trade season opened.

Butler's injury is a massive blow for GSW. They have no choice but to blow up the whole roster now. It looks like Curry’s mission for his final years will be mentoring the new guys.
Butler probably didn't just end the season, but his whole career too. He’s 37, has a massive injury history, and has played way too many miles. For a guy whose only goal is winning a championship, I don't think there’s a comeback after this. Honestly, no team is going to give a 38 year old Jimmy Butler more than a veteran minimum contract coming off an ACL injury.

He’s been unreal in international play. I think he just needs some time to get used to NBA basketball. If he continues developing like that though, he has a chance to be one of the best in the league. I’ve been surprised how fast he’s coming along as a player.

Since the year of 2019 there hasn't been an American MVP winner as far as I know. There is Joel Embiid though but his birthplace is actually Cameroon. But let's say there is only 1 name in this time period.

This isn't good for the United States to be honest. There is a huge interest in basketball. It is one of the most popular sports. But they still can't dominate this award. Once again a non-American is about to win the MVP award.

If Durant could play for a few more years, I think he and Alperen would have won a championship together. But he's getting on in years, I don't know how much longer he'll play. Maybe he'll perform at a high level next season and they can achieve something in the playoffs.

They've really become a great duo, I enjoy watching them. Both of them can play the post as effectively as big men, but despite that, they can still provide excellent assists. If Durant had played with Alpi like he did a few years ago, we could have placed them among the best duos in the world

They are now inviting more proposals, and I believe the Knicks are now one of them with an aggressive offer for them. The only problem is that they do not have those pieces that are needed by the Bucks. The Bucks are trying to restart, and they want young players whom they can make into their new franchise face. Draft picks will probably be their targets, or a very young player who is not heavily polished yet. Yeah, that was the plan, but it looks like they don’t see it working anymore so changes had to be made. Giannis also doesn’t seem happy at this point, so a trade feels inevitable, but at least he was able to give them one championship before things reached this stage. He’s still in his prime, so his value on the market is huge, and if the Bucks do move him they should get players and assets that can really help the team. Feels like it’s rebuild time now.

These rookies are actually good and I think Dalton is one of the promising young talents there. I feel bad that he's not utilized by the Lakers because their roster is full stacked and that's why he's given less time to play. I also feel bad with Mac McClung. He's a good one but it seems that he's only recognized with the dunk contests that he's won and not to be inside the ring playing with the team. I guess that the NBA has a lot of supply in the talents and the world has to absorb them with every local league where they can play. It's best to these young talents to go with Euro hoop leagues.

I saw this rumors as well but I must say that rumors doesn’t just going about spreading for no reason, there is actually a smoke somewhere that is bringing this rumors out, I have always expected Gianis to leave the Milwaukee Bucks, him getting involved with Golden State Warriors is actually good for his career, but if they are going for a trade I’m thinking who would Golden State Warriors be trading for Giannis which makes the deal very unlikely, considering the age of Steph Curry who is getting older and Draymond Green is also getting older and approaching 40, so I don’t think Milwaukee bucks will consider this players for a trade, Jimmy Butler wouldn’t be considered immediately for a trade because he is out injured with a torn ligament ACL injury and his been sidelined for the rest of the season, His season is Over.

Knicks would probably be a possible destination for Giannis, but let’s wait and see how everything goes if any trade would materialize for Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks.

It's said that the Bucks are not rushing in and are shopping Giannis for a better deal, unlike when Nico, he just trade Luka one on one with Davis. At least the Bucks have learn their mistakes from that trade and so with that, they are going to hear what other teams are going to proposed. Warriors and the Knicks are the front runners, as they have future draft picks to offer in exchange of Giannis. But not sure how it will materialized as it will also include some starting five players or good role players just to get Giannis.

I actually think there is a possibility LeBron ends up playing for the Cavs one last time, maybe even this season. Seems like the Lakers are ready to move on from his era.

Woah, I searched it up right away after reading this. So, there’s potential that Wiggins will be back with the Warriors. I would love to see that again. Wiggins was one of the keys to their last championship. For sure, both the Warriors and Wiggins would be happy if this happens. Aside from Curry, they need another scorer right now, and I think Wiggins could fill that role. Considering their salaries don’t have much difference, I think a direct/straight trade could happen.

It’s sucks if this happened for Heat since they lose Butler and other roster just to end up with Kuminga in the end since GSW will get back Wiggins.

This trade is super good with GSW now that Wiggins is improved while Butler is out due to injury.

While it is sad for Heat, they never really had a rebuilding phase where they tanked hard, and maybe they are thinking that it's time for them to start doing that. This trade doesn't scream "lets get better", it screams "lets tank" and maybe that is what they want to do and what they are working towards as well.

I understand that it is not the best case scenario for them and for that reason I think it's clear that we are going to see them be a bit different, but for right now, tanking would be nice.

That will be interesting if he is traded in the deadline this might shake the east standings and the playoffs for sure lebron will be a monster in the east, with the current lineup for sure lebron can still bring them once again, that is if things goes right.
But that is 50/50 the lakers would look bad trading the star who gave the a ring, it would look also bad to the players that after he had done, but what ever happens its just business and for sure lebron will not feel bad about it besides he is already on his way out nothings gonna change that, but one more run with his first team in the league reaching finals would be an epic ending.
