Sometimes NBA just feels so rigged. How do the Nuggets lose against a scrub team like the Warriors, a team with basically only bench players and every star players out. They recently got destroyed back to back and against a top team like Denver they suddenly win and come back from going into the 4th down 6 points? I mean sure, whatever man. NBA at it's best again. 

Denver should learn to play some perimeter defense, letting a team take 50+ 3s is not what you want to see if you want to compete for a title.

Cam Johnson especially stood out, he took 2 3 pointers in the last seconds but until then he took 5 shots (made 1), had 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 38 minutes (most minutes of all Denver players). This guy must have been invisible with such a stat line in 38 min, crazy. 

Damn that Nuggets loss was the only one destroy my 5-leg parlay, imagine you're playing most of your starters to a team that probably has its second unit and the only thing they have was probably their homecourt advantage. Podz even just one shy away for a 3D.

I guess they really need Watson to start and Jamal probably need to step up, having 1-6 in 3FG that's a tough night.

Alperen is committing way too many turnovers. On the other hand, it looks like KD scored a lot of points but his stats are actually terrible. He wants to take every shot himself yet he’s also turning the ball over constantly and missing a ton of shots. imo the most important thing in basketball is teamwork and KD is simply not a team player.

Indeed, he can score there's no doubt but if you just wanted to take every time you have the ball, the system which supposed to be design for the team will be affected, it's something that each players needs to adjust even how great you are it's much better to patch your teammates and get them involve just how we seen with Spurs and OKC they are rotating the ball though stars still have the numbers of touch but they involve everyone inside and manage to deliver great outcome.

yeah and when you watch his games you can see that KD doesn't track back on defense at all. to be fair, he’s never been an elite defender but even Reed Sheppard has managed to elevate his defense from non existent this season. he’s busting his tail out there whether he succeeds is another story but at least the effort is visible. KD, on the other hand, puts in zero effort on the defensive end. Then again, he’s got a point you can't keep a 37 year old man on the court for 35+ minutes and expect the same performance he gave 7 or 8 years ago.

You can’t really expect much on defense from a player who is the main scorer of the team. If he’s producing most of the points, he’ll obviously get exhausted if he also has to focus too much on defense. Overall, I still think Durant is a great asset. He can also rebound because of his height, so he still brings a lot to the table. They’ll surely learn from that loss.

We’ll see tomorrow against the Jazz if they can apply the corrections and fix their mistakes.

To be fair to Rockets, it's clear that Knicks are a better team anyways, and fourth quarter difference was 33 to 15 points in that quarter, on a game Knicks won barely by 2 points, that fourth quarter is a horrible mistake by Rockets and they have to work on it somehow.

They just need to move the needle a bit, like find easy shots, pass around, post up to alpi and so forth, like look for easy shots if they can, do one of the plays from the playbook and just focus on getting even just 2 points from every 3 possession and you would have more than this.

It is frustrating because you build so much continuity with the team you have and then it gets torn apart within a couple of days. So we have 30 games to get this new team together and... get familiar with how we play."

I don't blame him. Giddey is a good player who likes playmaking, and it won't materialize if the other players are not working well with him. 9 straight losses. Yes, that is going to be a frustrating event for the team. The real question is where they will get their confidence back, or perhaps they need a leader to change the pace of their games. They are now in 12th spot on the East, and the Hornets are already in 10th spot with a chance for a play-in tournament and take a playoff spot.
It's going to be tough to take a seat for that tournament if the Hornets keep on creating a gap in the winning numbers.

We’ve got a doubleheader tonight on Peacock, but I can’t say I really have an interest in watching either game. The Spurs and Rockets are both playing…. If they were playing each other I would probably tune in. Only 3 games today so not much of a spectator choice.

The Spurs game should be good actually we have two up and coming stars on both teams including Wemby and Cade, that game will most likely be a high scoring game also as bookies have it at near 232. But it'll be interesting to see how it plays out as it's the their first meeting this season also, but on one hand one team is best in the East currently and the other is 2nd in the west too.

I wasn't following the Bulls, but I really thought they were going to be a playoff contender this season since they played really well last season. Though they fell out of the in-season tourney, I really feel like they are going to improve very well this season, but it turns out they have almost the same record after 58 games through the season last year vs this year. I looked it up, and they were 25-33 last season, and this year 24-34.
Looks like they really need rebuilding. This team has not reached the finals since Michael Jordan.

It's pretty much normal for a player especially if you're trying to lead your team to be frustrated like that, and he has the authority to do it because he's basically doing anything for the team, and they're still losing. He's shooting, rebounding, and passing the ball, but those don't convert to wins.

Calling out your team is the best thing to do if you're leading the team because that sometimes increases the morale around them. It really is frustrating especially if you're at the bottom of the standings, but the best thing that they can do is to adjust, and win. They're only 3 games behind the Hornets who's red hot in these last few games. Anyway, I would want the Hornets to at least clinch the play-ins because when was the last time they did it? They've been at the bottom of the standings for many years, and also, I want to see their commentator who's shouting to commentate on some playoff/play-in games so... yeah I hope Charlotte will secure that spot for play-ins.

Yes, that is a grate game being played right now and it’s a good game so far tonight, Wemby is a good and talented player, I’m always happy seeing him playing because he is absolutely fantastic player and he is a huge talent, I’m expecting him to make a difference in tonight’s game against the Pistons, and I’m also looking at him to have a good season, I think if San Antonio Spurs gets to the NBA Playoffs and went on to eventually win the championship, I would be fully confident and convinced that he will win the MVP, because the performances that he is putting up this season have been something extraordinary, I think there is a huge difference between the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference Teams.

For sure a great game two really good teams this season for sure, Wemby is a generational talent most definitely and will go on to be a hall of famer the way he's going on about it. As far as the playoffs are concerned it's always a wait and see for me, playoff basketball is a whole different beast all the coaching adjustments every game and what not. The West is the dominate conference for sure has been for a while now probably will be that way for some time to come.

The Spurs won against the Pistons. Tough night for Cunningham, just 16 points, and four came from free throws. He made just 5 field goals out of 26 attempts. The Spurs also had 11 more three-pointers than the Pistons, which put them ahead. I think even though the Pistons are leading the Eastern Conference, they will have problems facing either the Knicks or Cavs in a best of 7 series, and even the Celtics. In terms of playoff experience, those three have the edge.

Houston made no mistakes against Utah and won the game 125-105. Alperen came close to a triple-double, contributing 16 points.

Jabari Smith and Amen Thompson also contributed well to the score in this game. Utah is in very poor form, but it's important to remember that Houston sometimes has inconsistent scoring.

The Detroit-San Antonio game was closely contested. Both teams were in high form. San Antonio managed to win the game 103-114, albeit with difficulty.

We don't know how Cavs are in the playoff, they have Harden and Mitchell, known to choke during the playoff, so it's not safe to say that Pistons will have a hard time facing them in the playoff. As for the Knicks yes they are good in the playoff series, but still though, they might have some problems as they might have this inconsistency. For the Pistons though, it will start with Cade and end up with him. If he can't score, then they will have a problem as their offense center on him and the rest are like the supporting cast as there are no consistent second option.

At Spurs, I just loved Vassell (7 3 PTs made) and Champagnie's (5 3 PTs made) performances. Spurs played with 18 3 PTs made in total. That was one of the main factors of winning this game I think.

They have only 3 wins less than Thunder in the conference. I can't wait for playoffs!

It's just one of those games that Cade didn't really play that good and then Spurs dominating the outside. Any team that have that kind of 3 point percentage, it's going to be very hard to defeat them.

One thing about the Spurs is that in every games, it seems that a new player will step up. Like in this game, it's Vassell and Champagnie.

But there are games that Wemby will take over, or it will be Fox or Stephon Castle.

Vassell and Champagnie's outside contributions brings the seperation, though it was a hard fought as Wemby really take those massage but it's impressive that he played well competiting inside and bringing his very best to feel his presence, and similar to what you said Cade's performance is not at his best not sure if he's being intimidated or just not his night, but for sure we will see the real potential during the playoffs, if who's going to be on the track in chasing the title.

Well Detroit still has the 2nd best record in the while NBA, and 7 less losses than the Knicks. Also don't forget, they swept the Knicks this season which shows they are definitely the superior team at the moment. Sure this can change but they just play winning basketball. The team doesn't define itself through just 1 or 2 main guys, they are deep and everybody is contributing as you can see.
