Sometimes Cade really has a bad performance, but there are also games where he plays very well. Like that game against the Knicks where they dominated and he scored 40+ with a really good shooting night.

So it really depends on who they’re facing. But for me, the Pistons shouldn’t rely too much on Cade alone. They need other shooters who can create and score when their main star is struggling. Honestly, I like the Knicks more compared to the Pistons. Even when Brunson struggles sometimes, they can still win because the other guys are willing to step up. That’s the difference for me.

Well Detroit still has the 2nd best record in the while NBA, and 7 less losses than the Knicks. Also don't forget, they swept the Knicks this season which shows they are definitely the superior team at the moment. Sure this can change but they just play winning basketball. The team doesn't define itself through just 1 or 2 main guys, they are deep and everybody is contributing as you can see.

I just hope they improve once the playoffs start. Maybe I’m seeing it differently, but if they end up facing the Knicks in a series, I honestly think the Knicks take it in 6.

I’m not even a die hard Knicks fan, I just feel like they have the better roster overall and more experience. And Cade, at least right now, doesn’t look like the kind of guy who can fully carry a team deep into the playoffs. Regular season is one thing, playoffs is a different level.

Still, I’d love to be wrong. The East being unpredictable would make it more fun to watch. I’m fine with Detroit winning too, that’s just how I see it at the moment.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. and Miami Heat forward Myron Gardner were fined $35,000 by the NBA on Monday after both players engaged in an on-court altercation during Saturday's game, the league announced.

I really hate that unwritten rule by the players. Play defense until the buzzer sounds so that the other team won't add more to their lead. Most fights came from that unwritten rule, and even if they know they are going to be fined for doing it, they still do it. It means the punishment is not enough, and players won't be playing hard until the buzzer sounds because they are penalized lightly. They can pay for it even if they do a hard foul. What Gardner did was dangerous, as he shot Pippen Jr. in the back, and he didn't even have the time to be ready for the contact. At least Gardner was ready when Pippen Jr. attacked.
Worse, the ref didn't even blow his whistle.

Houston made no mistakes against Utah and won the game 125-105. Alperen came close to a triple-double, contributing 16 points.

Rockets had 27 turnovers. this team is going to have a really hard time in the playoffs. That spark they had last year just isn't there anymore. They’re only winning games through individual plays. No team play at all...

Haven't the fights in NBA increased in number lately or does it just make me feel so?    Because I've seen at least several fights in the recent times. That one broke out between Pistons and Hornets players was really huge though!


As for the games last night I watched Rockets vs Jazz and Pistons vs Spurs a little. Really impressive work by Jabari Smith with 31 PTS by the way... And I admired Spurs' 3-PT skills in this game. 18 is a really good number for it which had a big effect on the win.

Detroit played a very good game in their last game, but unfortunately they couldn’t beat my favorite team, which is the San Antonio Spurs, Recently I see that results have not been in favour of them lately, and they will have to work hard to make sure that things are different for them and if they can possibly make it into the playoffs but that might be very difficult for them right now.

Spurs was very good also in that game, at some point Pistons was leading the game, I think spurs had to make a difference in some of the half’s of the game, to make it look more interesting and they had to grind out a difficult results in the game, and Spurs won with a good margin difference in the game, it doesn’t even look like they are struggling in the game.

I was shocked to learn when Spurs just waived Sochan because he wasn't a terrible player and he was doing alright when he played but I knew that they must have known something. Now looking at them beating Pistons, and Wemby playing, 21 points and 17 rebounds and 6 blocks, you get to see they have all the man power they need inside the paint, and they are doing a wonderful job.

And not like he is not an outside threat, even at his height he is still a good ball handler and shot 2/5 from the three which is great. So they will win every game where their players shoot at an acceptable level from three pointers, whenever that happens they will have an offense that will defeat any time they are facing against.

Charlotte, after two consecutive losses, is currently on a three-game road trip with two wins. Last night, they defeated Chicago by 32 points, 99-131. Their next game is against Indiana, a team that hasn't been doing well this season. I think Charlotte will win that game as well. With this victory, Charlotte maintains its 10th place in the Eastern Conference with 28 wins.

I’m not sure why he didn’t fit in with the Warriors, but it certainly looks like they made a mistake tonight… Kuminga is going to be the guy to watch for the next few games…

Wemby is playing minutes like old times and not restricted anymore, so he is handling all of the issues inside, which means rest of the team just needs to shoot threes and let him handle the inside.

He had 17 rebounds in this game, and feels like that is not even going to be his record, if he keeps this up then we are going to see him bulk up maybe even more (or maybe he can stay like KD and not bulk up) and rebounding will be even easier, this dude could have 30 +rebounds in a game one day, not going to be easy but he could maybe one day do that.

I’m not sure why he didn’t fit in with the Warriors, but it certainly looks like they made a mistake tonight… Kuminga is going to be the guy to watch for the next few games…

He used to be the next Andrew Wiggins with the Warriors, but he got injured and then they acquire Jimmy Butler making Kuminga lose his spot and then the drama after that. But it's good that he is out of the Warriors at least he find a new home with the Hawks and for sure he will be given the minutes that he wanted with in his career.

It could be that him and Steve Kerr might have issues. But for now, it looks like the Warriors are also good even with the injury of Curry and Butler, they somewhat can pull some miracle and upset wins.

It’s proven that his playing style doesn’t work with Warriors game play since he was given opportunity before but he failed to deliver. Kuminga is an explosive player if he is on the zone but his main problem is being inconsistent on his game.

Same with Jordan Poole. Sometimes he plays very productive and most of the time no contribution at all.

Maybe Hawks can develop him properly but still too early to speculate since he is playing like this on Warriors on some games.

They need to keep that momentum to move forward, though they need to improve more as the upcoming playoffs is nearing is time to position yourself to reach the playoff and avoid the play-in, but I guess with the way they are playing the game they've got a big chance they are improving their squad and they are all maturing together it's interesting to see them to push for more and who knows they may be able to reach the next round and the round after,.

The Hawks have been inconsistent lately, that’s clear. But now they’ve added a championship player, and that kind of experience can really help the team, especially if they start using him as one of their go to guys. Looks like that’s already happening based on the numbers he just put up.

Still, let’s not overhype it after one big game. We need to watch the next few games and see if this becomes consistent or if it was just a hot night.

From a betting angle though, this is something to watch closely. At this rate, it might be worth considering backing him on player props, especially if the bookies are slow to adjust. Sometimes that’s where the value is, before the lines fully catch up.

I think Kuminga is the kind of guy who cannot step up with another one or two superstars on the same team.
The Warriors' offense, as we know, is fast and involves a lot of ball movement. They are also good at off-ball movements. In contrast, Jonathan Kuminga is an ISO guy, so the ball stays with him for several seconds, and I think Steve Kerr does not like plays like that because it will slow down their offense and will kill their momentum.
I'm not surprised if Kuminga turns out to be the best player on the other team because he's got potential, his style of playing just doesn't fit with the Warriors. Let's see if he can keep it up.

At the start of the season and in the early part, Cooper Flagg looked like the clear favorite for ROY, but Kon Knueppel has shown incredible improvement. Right now he's at the top of the rookie ladder. If he improves his stats a bit more, he could win the ROY award.
Mavs look like they probably miss the play-off. Meanwhile Knueppel is keeping the Hornets in the play-in race. He has the same ppg as LaMelo. If things keep going like this, he'll be my ROY candidate too.

The only reason Flagg’s numbers have gone up is because he became the main guy on the team. It looks like Dallas is clearly building around him now, so of course his stats will grow with more usage.

But the problem is Dallas is basically tanking. That hurts his case a bit for me. Meanwhile, the Hornets are actually in a decent spot and could possibly sneak into the playoffs. This I can say that team impact should matter too, not just raw numbers. So if you ask me right now, based on the current situation, Knueppel deserves to be ROY more. Winning and contributing to a competitive team carries more weight than just putting up big stats on a losing one.

That's because the spotlight isn't on him and he's ignored mostly there to be a play maker. I guess that he's in the right team now. And since Trae Young is no longer with the Atlanta Hawks, so I guess that the universe has completed the puzzle for Jonathan Kuminga. We'll see how this stats he's made for the Hawks if it will be consistent or not. But I'm impressed with how it went for his first game, he's impressing Hawks and maybe telling the Warriors that this is the guy that they have traded.

Isn’t it 27 points, 9 out of 12 from the field? Anyway, a good debut for Kuminga with the Hawks. Well, they weren’t really using him, so they might as well trade him. I’m also wondering why he was out of the rotation. He should have been a good second unit. At least now he’ll get the minutes he wanted. He already has a ring, so maybe his focus now is proving himself and improving his stats for a better salary.

I have to question those numbers. I didn’t watch the game live, but I’d like to know the source because NBA.com is showing something different.

From what I saw in the official report, he only finished with 27 points. So where are the other numbers coming from?
