According to the latest report he's out today as well. Based on last week's projection, he could've returned by now but it looks like they don't want to rush it. The Pistons shouldn't miss this opportunity, they need to beat the Thunder without SGA.

I’m anticipating the same game and I see the game as a very interesting game, Thunders are playing a very good game recently, and they’re in a good position right now, it would be a grate match, anything that have to deal with leaders of the western and eastern conference it was quite a good match that we are anticipating, the game is just a must watch as you have said right now, The piston obviously didn’t play a very good game against San Antonio Spurs, but I always expected the Detroit Piston to loose against San Antonio Spurs, because I’m a huge fan of the Spurs team and I’m a huge supporter of Victor Wembanyama, Spurs are a team that I’m expecting to head into the playoffs and winning the NBA championship this season.

I’m not sure why he didn’t fit in with the Warriors, but it certainly looks like they made a mistake tonight… Kuminga is going to be the guy to watch for the next few games…

One game isn't enough to tell that the Warriors really made a mistake. At least have a larger sample size.
Don't forget that Svi Mykhailiuk had a game where he scored 50 points, but after that, he didn't have any significant game anymore. I'm not saying that both players are at the same when it comes to abilities, but this game isn't enough for me to say that Kuminga is a fit for the Hawks already.

The reason why he didn't fit with the Warriors is the playstyle of Coach Kerr. What Kerr wants, and how Kuminga plays are different. Kerr wants the ball to be passed until they find a 3-pt shooter that's free. Kuminga on the other hand is more of an iso-type of player where if he got the ball, he will find way to score, and that kind of playstyle is why he doesn't fit with the Warriors. Maybe on his new team, that kind of playstyle works, and it work IN HIS FIRST GAME.

Let's see how he will be playing for the remainder of the season then we can conclude if he's a fit on the Hawks or not, and if the Warriors really made a mistake or not.

Wemby definitely is a big part of the reason why they are doing this good, but even better so is the fact that without Pop being the coach (I hope he recovers quickly) they are seeing old time Spurs style basketball even right now. They are passing the ball very well and more importantly they are making very few mistakes.

In basketball, if you make very few mistakes, like imagine a team with no turnovers, and a team that shoots at a normal rate, not some insane 50%+ from three rate, but a normal rate, like 45% from fg, and 35% from 3P and 85% from FT, just imagine that with no turnovers and then play at a decent level defense, not like keep the opponent under 100 points or anything, just keep them at similar shooting rate as yours. You win the game, it's that simple. Few mistakes and normal and not bad shooting, equals wins.

They are ahead of Nuggets in their conference by the way. It looks good but there are still many more games to play until the end of regular season. 20+ games... I still doubt them to finish ahead of Nuggets to tell the truth.

I guess Pops style of play has really influence their coaching staff, that's why they are moving without the ball just like what we have seen during the prime years of coach Pop with Timmy at the top. Similar to what they are doing with Wemby, passing the ball to him as much as they can near the basket of spacing to give players room to shoot 3's.

Isn’t it 27 points, 9 out of 12 from the field? Anyway, a good debut for Kuminga with the Hawks. Well, they weren’t really using him, so they might as well trade him. I’m also wondering why he was out of the rotation. He should have been a good second unit. At least now he’ll get the minutes he wanted. He already has a ring, so maybe his focus now is proving himself and improving his stats for a better salary.

That’s correct, he finished with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. They’ve got a rematch with the Wizards tomorrow, and it looks like it could turn into another blowout, so I’m leaning toward backing them again.

If Kuminga can put up the same numbers, or even slightly better, it should be manageable for them. The Wizards have dropped their last two games by double digits, and it feels like whatever little momentum they had has faded. Maybe they’re just back to who they really are. Still, I wouldn’t completely rule out a response game.

They need to play the kind of system where everyone is involving themselves on both ways, I like how they rotate the ball and how confidence they are in lettingeach other to contribute, though we know that things played differently depending to who's their opponents and how each players performs during that day, they've got the numbers of good players just needed the chemistries from one another.

I actually thought OKC would compete well since they were leading early, but the Pistons made their run, adjusted better, and closed it out. If the opening line was +7.5 and you took OKC, you would’ve lost that bet since the Pistons won by 8.

The Thunder put up more resistance than I expected. Even without SGA, Holmgren, J-Dub, Caruso and Hartenstein, they played pretty good with Jaylin Williams, Wiggins, Wallace and McCain. They kept the score close. Even their rotation depth looks pretty strong. In the end the Pistons managed to win with their stars. Duren and Cunningham both scored 29. Even though their 3-pt fg was low, the Pistons dominated inside the paint. That made the difference.

The game in Oklahoma City will be played in March. By then some of the Thunder's missing players should be back. We can evaluate both teams better before a possible Finals match-up. This game wasn't really a good indicator under these circumstances.

It's probably they got a good coaching staff that they pull this win or the Grizzlies is just not that good as well having their second unit too or just some theory that they intend to lose for some tanking strategy. Well, not that much I expect to Grizzlies win here though and I clearly hit minus spread for Warriors too in this match. I think the starters of the Warriors especially Curry is resting so that he can be healthy before the off-season comes. I wonder if there standing will rise but it's probably be hovering in the play-in state but probably they'll be snatching that 7-8 spot if that time comes.

Alperen is still a very valuable player for Rockets imo. games where Alperen barely hits 20 points aren't because of a lack of skill it's because the Rockets have no idea what they're doing on offense. at this point, all Alpi needs to do is stay in his own rhythm without forcing the game.
