Do other factors affect the chance or is it just luck?

I think it is only affected by "luck". There is a random number (generated on registration?) for everyone. In order to know it, you must keep on posting for a few months. Well you "are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity". So 1030/7 = 147.1 weeks. So it is you are guaranteed to become a Legendary after 147.1 weeks of posting.

If you aren't lucky to be legendary when you are inthe forum almost everyday, maybe you need to try to stay in the forum maybe once every two weeks. lol
I can see its updated every two weeks.    Just sit back and see a movie, you will eventually be Legendary in the future.

Well, when theymos or the technical team added legendary rank they could easily create new column in the database and add random number to registered member.

Well, when theymos or the technical team added legendary rank they could easily create new column in the database and add random number to registered member.

Its the userid, the randomness comes from the secret seed and the hashing.

And random ? What is it manually changed ?

I know on another well known forum about 13 years ago i was given a custom title by the staff randomly.
Russian hackers / crackers forum.
i got the title "1337 Cracker" back in like 2005'sih ..and in color LOL
I forever got questions why i had a colored custom name..
Because i -am- a Legend bitches !

Thanks shorena for doing the math. I appreciate you doing it.  It allows me to see how much statistics hate me .

I guess this is why I don't gamble.  The odds are in my favor but does ever work.  Do we know who the most unlucky hero was to hit legendary?  I'm just curious how close some have gotten twords top end before getting legendary.

Thank you I did miss that...  I feel a little better after seeing that.  But I easily could become up there.

Looks like I have around 6.5 months till I have to hit it.   So still could be quite a bit of time till I get there.

Never knew Legendary rank had luck to do with it too. Looks like am in the Legendary not sure how long I been in maybe a year or 2 now but I am hella active on here daily so maybe has part of it to do with it spending way too much of my fee time on here. If luck also has to do with it then good luck to the people who have reached the requirements maybe Santa will give you a present f Legendary
