As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas Antonopolous

Not sure to be honest. it's a typical o'reilly styled book cover.

Is it that the B in Bitcoin in the title is not a BTC? Wink

The question is not right how you made it.
What could be wrong, the color or the items painted there?
For me the color is not right, a logo of bitcoin maybe is missing etc..

It's not copyrighted
Why can it not be copyrighted? It is an authors words and the company O'Reilly paid for his/her's words so they can publish it.
If it can't be copyrighted what would stop you from stealing their words and writing a book of your own?  Wink

My God, I've never seen that cover before. It's really bad. My other beef with it is that it uses 'digital cryptocurrencies' instead of just cryptocurrencies. Is there such a thing as an analogue crypto?

It looks like the ants are holding a leaf with their mouths, and that is not how ants carry things.

If it is not that then it is something else to do with the ants

Ants are relevant in a any way to Bitcoin? Because I fail to find any analogy. But I there is nothing 'wrong' with ants of leaves, just a picture.
But after skimming though some more covers from this O'Reilly publisher I see that there is whole series of these awful animal themed covers.

The problem for me is that I never heard about analog cryptocurrencies - this is clear mistake imo.

The writer has ant in his name, hence the ants.

Another possibility might be that an early release featured as

"unlocking digital crypto-currencies" with a dash between crypto and currencies, which it does not feature anymore.

Ant's are considered the workers, miners if you will.
And yes O'Reilly loves to incorporate animals to all their technology books. They are relevant to the material to one shape or form.

I don't think the OP's question is regarding the picture at all but the wording of the title.

The ants give it a really awesome style, like the ants you will need work hard to get any bitcoins  Tongue

Anyhow, for me the wrong thing is that there is really no way to master Bitcoin, it cant be mastered. Sure you can learn one thing or two but you will never be the all mighty god of Bitcoin.

PS: Y u no BTC instead of B

Doesn't really matter. I like riddles, would just hate it if nothing was there to be found.

I just saw something by the way:

The title words are not aligned on the left. Rookie editing mistake.

The M in mastering does not align with the B of bitcoin, the line and the U of unlocking.

Ants don't carry leaves like that.
Copyrighted material twice
Copyrighted material on top barely visible
Unlocking should be Discovering or something like that
DIGITAL CRYPTOCURRENCIES should be CRYPTOCURRENCY or at best CRYPTOCURRENCIES if talking about more currencies
Words aren't well aligned.

...Do you guys really think he will pay 0.5 btc for this?

If he doesn't he is going to get negative trust.

But any way, my guess is that you can not "unlock" cryptocurrencies, but they must be "cracked".
As a play on words, so, the cover should say: "Cracking digital crypto-currencies", for the double meaning.

One meaning, to understand.
The other, to code break (which currently has not happened with Bitcoin private keys...yet)

I support a decentralized & unregulatable ledger first, with safe scaling over time.

1. many people favour the term 'blockchain currencies' when talking about bitcoin and all the alts using the same basic technology.. 'cryptocurrencies' seems off/geeky
2. what do blockchain currencies have to do with ants holding leaf's?
3. using 'unlocking' and ants.. gives the illusion its insecure and buggy as the hidden metaphor

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.

My answer is: Ants are really hardworking animals. But most of bitcoin investors are hoping to get rich easily.

Official explanation about ants: https://github.com/aantonop/bitcoinbook/blob/develop/preface.asciidoc#why-are-there-bugs-on-the-cover

Also; Book is Copyrighted. Quoting from Antonopoulos: (I've dm'ed him about translation print while translating the book)
Quote
The book is licensed CC-BY-SA. Anyone can publish it as long as they open source the translation too. Lookup CC-BY-SA

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas Antonopolous

It looks like the ants are holding a leaf with their mouths, and that is not how ants carry things.

If it is not that then it is something else to do with the ants
Quickscammer you're damn right...

Doesn't really matter. I like riddles, would just hate it if nothing was there to be found.

I just saw something by the way:

The title words are not aligned on the left. Rookie editing mistake.

The M in mastering does not align with the B of bitcoin, the line and the U of unlocking.
Ooh. It's too bad that you pointed that now. It's going to annoy me now. That's really noticeable now that I realize it!

The kerning is also now irritating me. The t and c in Bitcoin, and the s and t in Mastering.

well if he is saying 'Mastering Bitcoin' and then goes on to say digital cryptocurrencies on front page, it is a small b for bitcoin talking about it as a digital cryptocurrency
uppercase B for blockchain, coin and protocol
he may go and discuss everything in book, I am sure he must
but the cover description is a little conflicting and vague this way

Nope that is just the last part of the leg, covered from view by it's Gaster.  Grin ..... If I had to take a stab at it, I would point out that it has... what looks like little wings

on it's back... from my knowledge Leave cutter ants have no wings.  Huh If it is the queen... then she would not be doing the worker ants job.  Wink

Only reproductive ants, queens, and males, have wings. Queens shed their wings after the nuptial flight, leaving visible stubs, a distinguishing feature of queens.

It's just nice to see some quiz on the forum again.... scam or not, it's always fun.  Grin

interesting way of promoting your affiliate link

Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency
singular
they say cryptocurrencies meaning more than just bitcoin. such as litecoin, darkcoin, and all the other alt coins out there. Which could not be explained in a 298 page book. Roll Eyes

Yeah. Isn't it meant to say cryptocurrency rather than cryptocurrencies. It is meant to be singular as Bitcoin is singular.

1. unlocking digital crypto-currencies <- is wrong as concept and wrongly written.
2. the ants <- they have tails? their eyes are huge...

PS. Isn't this more suitable for "games and rounds"? Maybe it should be moved there.

Right apart from my last two guesses about the proportions of the ants I would go for the obvious answer it isn't a book its a digital publication.

Ant carries leafs implies that bitcoin is a commodity that can be stacked and hoarded.

However bitcoin is a currency so there should be some other animal there that shows the spendable nature of bitcoin.

Or, have they used bitcoin instead of the blockchain?  as the cover refers to "Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies" which indicates more than the one currency and bitcoin is just one of the many Cryptocurrencies and if the book is about unlocking Cryptocurrencies then it should perhaps read "Mastering the Blockchain" "Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies"

That's all I have

The book is comparing bitcoiners (us) to ants. This mean that this cover is seeing us as slaves that have no personal feelings and that work for a centralised authority, which can be can be the FIAT system.

On the other hand, if we see positively ants, the cover can tell that we are building strong structures (like ants nests, but here Bitcoin), small fragments by small fragments. Even if this is not something wrong, this is still my analysis of that cover and maybe it can inspire you Wink !

"What is this? A book for ants!?" (Zoolander). Sorry I had to do it.

With that being said, I can only speak of the book cover design since I'm a graphic designer. I know it's part of a series (O'Reilly) and animals are the unifying theme (plus same typography and different colors for each one) but I don't really how ants fit or communicate what Bitcoin is all about.

The way I understand it tries to communicate the skill of growing or accumulating Bitcoin. This is a perfectly valid idea and fits the whole animal theme I mentioned. The problem is the image of hard working ants communicates just that, hard work and a demanding read.

I would've used another animal for sure.

Who or what are they controlled by?
Worker Ants are simple beings performing basic functions that ultimately supports the queen (and her eggs).
Even if the queen does not have true control over them, their existence is to her (and her eggs) service.

Since too many asking about ants, read this preface:

Quote
Preface :
Why Are There Bugs on the Cover?

The leafcutter ant is a species that exhibits highly complex behavior in a colony super-organism, but each individual ant operates on a set of simple rules driven by social interaction and the exchange of chemical scents (pheromones). Per Wikipedia: "Next to humans, leafcutter ants form the largest and most complex animal societies on Earth." Leafcutter ants don’t actually eat leaves, but rather use them to farm a fungus, which is the central food source for the colony. Get that? These ants are farming!

Although ants form a caste-based society and have a queen for producing offspring, there is no central authority or leader in an ant colony. The highly intelligent and sophisticated behavior exhibited by a multimillion-member colony is an emergent property from the interaction of the individuals in a social network.

Nature demonstrates that decentralized systems can be resilient and can produce emergent complexity and incredible sophistication without the need for a central authority, hierarchy, or complex parts.

Bitcoin is a highly sophisticated decentralized trust network that can support a myriad of financial processes. Yet, each node in the bitcoin network follows a few simple mathematical rules. The interaction between many nodes is what leads to the emergence of the sophisticated behavior, not any inherent complexity or trust in any single node. Like an ant colony, the bitcoin network is a resilient network of simple nodes following simple rules that together can do amazing things without any central coordination.

You can't master Bitcoin. Why would you title the book like that?

Bitcoin's economy and lifeforce is always changing, as are all cryptocurrencies. You can never master it because it is constantly dynamically shifting.

Also, ya don't usually see a leafcutter ant holding a stem. Smiley

It may be true that they "only work together to support the colony,... its not done primarily for the queen...",

but according to http://www.pestworldforkids.org/pest-guide/ants/ (lol),:
Quote
When the queen of the colony dies, the colony can only survive a few months. Queens are rarely replaced and the workers are not able to reproduce.

ants don't carry leaves, but only  a part of it, in fact they have a mouth with tooth for this!

Could be that. Like I said, you don't see leafcutter ants holding stems. Smiley

If it is that, I wonder who would be credited. Wink Probably isn't though lol

Perhaps entire leaves, but you do very, very rarely see them with the stem. Perhaps every once in a blue moon, but not that often.

They definitely wouldn't hold them by the stem either.

Well in costa rica there are thousands of little shits swarming my yard and they get into my house too. Maybe I will take some photos next time I go back to see if any have stems.  X'D

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas Antonopolous

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1449374042/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1449374042&linkCode=as2&tag=hocayoli-20&linkId=KRGAK7LJ7OSGJGN3

I think people are not ants, Because ants are ruled by their queens and may be kings (Tongue Dont have that much knowledge) or in simple words, They don't have the freedom of choice. So the only thing wrong here in this case would be. That we are ants, And if don't have freedom we would never buy/read that book. Because of mind control and power.

So in that case it wrong.

The word "Mastering" is supposed to be above the purple box, like most (but not all) of the other O'Reilly programming books where there is a verb in the title.

You can't master Bitcoin. Why would you title the book like that?

Bitcoin's economy and lifeforce is always changing, as are all cryptocurrencies. You can never master it because it is constantly dynamically shifting.

Also, ya don't usually see a leafcutter ant holding a stem. Smiley

Maybe he meant mastering as mastering your knowledge on how it works, what it can do and what is happening with it currently.

IMO it is appropriate to put insects on the cover of a book only if the book is somehow biology-oriented. The cover looks very unappealing to me and I would never buy such a book.

I can understand if they made this cover because they were paid by Bitmain though.  Smiley

Ecologists call the ants "mutualists" because they cooperate with another species for mutual benefit. Each leaf-cutter species has its own mutualist partner, a fungus that it grows and cultivates for food and that in turn depends on the ants for food and shelter.

Mutualism is the way two organisms of different species exist in a relationship in which each individual benefits from the activity of the other. Similar interactions within a species are known as co-operation. Mutualism can be contrasted with interspecific competition, in which each species experiences reduced fitness, and exploitation, or parasitism, in which one species benefits at the expense of the other. Mutualism is a type of symbiosis. Symbiosis is a broad category, defined to include relationships that are mutualistic, parasitic, or commensal. Mutualism is only one type.

The instances of cooperation in nature far outweighs those of conflict. Take the honey badger and the honey guide bird for example. The bird leads the badger (or the human) to the bee hive full of honey and lets nature take it course. The bird then picks up the scraps.

This being the case it only makes sense to revise the cover of the book to include a honey guide bird and a honey badger. Also, as other users have pointed out a Bitcoin logo would also be good.

I am sorry, but in my opinion, this book cover is so off.  Ants are not mining insects, they are colonists.  Some people get this confused when they think of ants because they dig into the earth.  When ants dig into the earth, they bring out dirt to complete their "paths", but they take in items such as leaves and such for food and storage.  Even though some mining companies are starting to use ants and termites to determine where gold deposits are locates, they are still not miners, they are colonists and always will be.  They would have been better putting a picture of a wood pecker or such on the book, those are real miners who "mine" trees for food.

I don't think that is why there are ants on the book?  Her last name has ants in it and I think they were just doing that.  Anyway did anyone actually figure out and receive the prize from this OP?

Is it that there is no space between the "M." and the "Antonopoulos"? E.g., it is wrote "Andreas M.Antonopoulos" but should be "Andreas M. Antonopoulos".

The general consensus is that there's nothin' wrong with the cover, but during the brief course of this thread with its OP and title now altered, the author's cover was blown and two negative trusts were doled out to Mr. Hocayoli aka Niceplum aka et al.: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1237905

Bitcoins are not only have positive conspiracies but, obviously negative conspiracies too. Especially conspiracies related to mining. The conspiracy is about malwares and conspiracy is like #1 currently.
Bitcoin mining software is now being distributed as malware because using someone else's computer to mine BitCoins is easier than buying a farm of your own mining hardware.

Anyhow, for me the wrong thing is that there is really no way to master Bitcoin, it cant be mastered. Sure you can learn one thing or two but you will never be the all mighty god of Bitcoin.

cry me a river

Have you lost your mother fuckin' mind? I earnestly gave you a logical out for this unfortunately episode due to your esteem reputation and considering your past in Slovakia, but you're opting to toss it all aside. How the fuck do you justify turning a tiny mistake into a full-blown ... ? I'm fuckin' lost for words! Seriously, I'm at a lost. By chance are you back on the shrooms? That's the only logical reason I can come up with for your chosen course of action, dude. Do you have any fuckin' idea as to what the fuck you're doin'? Those two current negative trusts could've easily been removed and overcome, but instead you're jockeying for position to have them stand if not augmented, with the only saving grace being that I don't participate in the practice.

That said, we're goin' try this ONE MORE FUCKIN' TIME! Simply offer up now two earnest apologies: One on this thread for the unfortunate episode, and another on Counterparty's main thread for the use of sockpuppets to advance the concern during its nascent stage. If not, then I'll be prepared to depict your other sockpuppets over there that'd most likely cause a stir. Your call... or stay on the shrooms.

This did turn into something epic. I was one of the first posters and didn't imagine it would turn out this way. Nine pages later of drawn out mediocrity by a giveaway, which in fact turn out to be a witch hunt.
Good thing justice was served by paying out someone and ending this. But I doubt Gleb will let this rest in knowing the debt has been paid.

What the fuck for paying out now for something that was said on page one? Come on, this is just an action to save your ass and your reputation.

Anyway, kind of lame answer actually.

Then you'll really like this: From a witch hunt to the insane asylum...

I just reported your ass, you cowardly fuck face!

This is the correct answer if I may say so myself but once again we all got scammed with the lure of free Bitcoin.

Ok, so can anyone explain to me why BitcoinStriker doesn't get a neg trust? It's pretty obvious that gummy owl paid to himself/herself or do you believe that someone would spend 0.5 BTC just to save their face (which had no chance of working and it didn't of course). Am I missing anything here?

So what was wrong with the cover?
Nothing physically wrong.
He was stating that the word "Master" is the incorrect term to use when referring to bitcoin.
Not one person can master (Own) all the bitcoins in the world.

Then the chaos insued. Roll Eyes

If anyone should get be negged it should be gumcruise
He came on the thread at page 4 and didn't announce that the correct answer was given(posted an almost there with a badger pic) to pay out the reward. I saw him login a few times before his posts. He was probably just laughing at all the fighting over the bounty that he just let it linger on for 4 more pages more.

Also, the jury's still out as to if Counterparty was exposed viz. the use of sockpuppetry in play to advance their agenda and roping in Patrick Byrne of Overstock.

is it possible to block masterxchange's wallet on Counterparty network ?

Counterparty network = Bitcoin network.

It's impossible to block or restrict access for anyone. If you have internet, you can always use the Bitcoin network.

6 hours, 49 minutes and 40 seconds later, gumcruise posted his very first post in the Counterparty thread pretending to be a NOOB.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if XCP are destroyed when being used for smart contracts and there are only 2.6 million. How will everyone be able to buy enough to run the contracts?

Like Matt said the XCP fees used in computation of smart contracts aren't constant values as they are in ethereum (like 1 XCP no matter what), but fractions of the total supply of XCP. Moreover XCP is divisible, So just as an example:

if there were only 1 XCP available a smart contract might cost 0.000001 XCP to run (and everyone would own fractions of a single XCP). Whereas if there were 1,000,000 XCP available a smart contract might cost 1 XCP to run.  In both cases the amount of XCP in relation to the total supply, and roughly dollar worth of the XCP spent on running a contract could (and usually would be expected) to be the same, since In an efficient market you'd expect the opportunity cost of spending XCP to execute a smart contract would remain competitive.  Nobody is going to spend $500 equivalent in XCP to run a smart contract that embeds a hash in the blockchain

So as more and more contracts are running, it will be possible to run more and more with 1 XCP as time goes on?

Well I dont know what kind of a "positive announcements" You got but If XCP alliance with Overstock is broken price will fall to 0.005...

If the posters in this thread are accurate about smart contracts payments then I really really doubt it will ever go that low. The decentralized stock exchange already works... as someone else said, XCP has endless utility beyond Overstock... lets get more excited about decentralized things Smiley

While gumcruise was masquerading as a NOOB, his alter ego, deliciousowl, was in charge of maintaining continuity in the same Counterparty thread, along with providing copy writing services for said concern.

I don't even remember making this thread. Words of wisdom - if you're trying to OD, dont use cocaine.

Haven't worked for Counterparty for quite a while (way before the posts), and haven't interacted with the team either. They have better things to do than sponsor shitpost pumping. There's no need to drag them into what I'm doing. It doesn't take 221B baker street to figure out that mods have access logs. If I cared or was hired, I would budget in a VPN like the 9000 corporate shills flying around this sphere.

I'm sure if you do more of your incredible detective research you will find that the person I sent 0.5 BTC is indeed a real individual who is not me. The bitcoin network does not have a master or masters, unlike every distributed database out there. Besides, money is circumstantial to me. As are the cuck tears

gumcruise started this thread.
I proved that you and gumcruise are the same person.
Both of you told me in your own specail ways to get lost.
You, deliciousowl, paid the 0.5 BTC bounty offered up by gumcruise.
Now, you're claimin' that you don't remember making this thread.
To be fair, I honestly don't remember if I masturbated yesterday or the day before, but I'm pretty certain that I'm overdue given this stiff hard-on that all of a sudden materialized upon reading your post.

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X

That is the right answer. You can't be the god of bitcoin and it can't be mastered.

If he wants to, I just don't think that his current reason is at all valid. I actually need to modify my negatives soon, I'll just watch this play out for a tiny bit longer before doing that to see any developments in the situation.

You can do it cheaper by splitting 0.5 BTC to all those that provided an answer (I'm not included) and offer up a sincere apology, exactly what I tried to get you to do before this blew up to what it is now.

EDIT: With apologies to Nobitcoin (whom you may now have to make a special arrangement for).

Do that, and I'll be off your back, with perhaps me tryin' to get some of your negs removed.

Way to go! You were damn near far removed from all that's transpired since you've been paid, but for some odd-ass reason you came here to stick it up anybody's ass with your rent now being paid, coupled with alluding to some being crybabies wanting or deserving free bitcoins.

Here's an offer (you're gonna love this): You pay me 0.5 BTC and I won't definitively connect you to Filip. Deal? I'll even forget that this thread ever existed. HAHAHA

HAHAHA

Whos Filip?
And I didnt come here to stick it up anybody's ass, I will stop replying here since I dont like to enter fights.
Sorry if I offended you, just trying to make a living.

You would have done the same, so please.

Filip is the dude who paid your rent while you're trying to make a living here on The #1 Bitcoin Conspiracy Barn.

HAHAHA

Well.
That just happened.

Thanks for the 0.5BTC You paid my Rent  ;D

:D

PS: You guys just want free Bitcoins https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_ignorance

Aaaand he had to turn.

Yes. Clearly. The whole accusation and all of the proof is made-up. Of course.

I'm unsure you've even looked at it.

To clarify, I don't care about the 0.5 BTC and that part of the accusation is gone now that he's paid it out, but the fact he was a) shilling and b) is denying everything is still there.

Back to conspiracies. Altho I cannot link BTCStriker to Filip (yet), let's go back a bit shall we?

11/22/2013 - BitcoinStriker posted this BTC address 1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=343104.msg3678995#msg3678995

11/08/2013 - Tymer posted this BTC address 1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255437.msg3520921#msg3520921

 * Scam accusation open against Tymer is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=339534.10

(Back to BitcoinStriker)

11/26/2013 - BitcoinStriker posted this btc address 1EbEEdJi2pvASwpCTSBZgayGvoK4DQEHUt here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=347707.msg3723470#msg3723470

11/18/2013 - HueSinger posted this BTC address 1EbEEdJi2pvASwpCTSBZgayGvoK4DQEHUt here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=338156.msg3627590#msg3627590

BTW, HueSinger is an alt of Tymer, as evidenced in the scam accusation as well.

So... Although I cannot prove bitcoinstriker is any particular real life person, I do believe I have proven that he is either in control of, or associated with, known forum scammers accounts.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share that with y'all... Back to the HAHAHAs, much more fun! Wink

Edit - Fixed wrong year bolded above - sorry! Also, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1240498.msg12915596;topicseen#msg12915596

The ants thing again since they are Leaf cutter ants they are considered to be farmers because they harvest the leaves to make compost whilst Bitcoin has miners.

This is the real answer to the question that the Op said about the cover being wrong so instead of sending it to your alt account it rightfully belongs to me !

HAHAHA (Sorry, I find that very funny to say out loud)! Wink

He cannot, because he's obviously not a smart scammer, or he wouldn't have made so many mistakes there.

Saddest part -that took me about 1/2 hour on google and bitcointalk, maybe 10 minutes to post it/put it up. I'm not even witch hunting there, I just did some simple history/research and cut and pasted it all.... The downside to being a scammer is that you have to keep your lies, btc addresses, and accounts straight. And as we all know, scammers are not very smart when it comes to such basic types of.. erm.. "OpSec".  Cheesy

Edit - Hey Gleb, did he send you that .5 yet or are you going to drop the final bomb? I don't have the time to dig more than I have tonight. Wink

deliciousowl aka Filip Martinka started a thread: [SUCCESSFUL] Copywriting for Cryptocurrencies

Can you guess who commented on it?

Hey didn't I saw you a lot in the Counterparty thread?

Keep it real!!!  Grin

Do you also do reviews of Resumes / CV??? Please pm

Next, see if you can make heads or tails outta this address: 14Tf35AovvRVURzd623q5i9kry2EW8WzyL

Symbiont is trolling you all. They will clearly never use XCP on Wall Street. They are going  to make a clone called XCP-XT and they will not be mutually usable. The XCP will be smelted and turned into Factoms, XPY and the rest into Citicoin. Send me all your old XCP for recycling: 14Tf35AovvRVURzd623q5i9kry2EW8WzyL

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas Antonopolous

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1449374042/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1449374042&linkCode=as2&tag=hocayoli-20&linkId=KRGAK7LJ7OSGJGN3
I have the book.  Good book in my opinion.

Ants are insects and insects have six legs...the ants on the cover both have eight legs.

I have the book.  Good book in my opinion.

Ants are insects and insects have six legs...the ants on the cover both have eight legs.

The giveaway is done dude. How'd you get the original post anyways, it was changed awhile ago except for it being quoted a few times. But anyways.
This has turned into a "Justice for all" scenario and all for one who wasted time in this thread.

Looking for some enjoyable time spent together

Swinger deliciousowl (Male) from Austria, Vienna

I'm a rather progressive and very laid back guy looking to spend time with enchanting ladies who don't want anything too serious. We can easily chill out together and generally have a good time now. Serious relationships just mess with my heart-strings, but there's nothing stopping us from also becoming great friends..

I have rather 'old-school' respect for women, and as such I absolutely won't engage in relationships of complete dominance. If you just think our society is far too serious and want to have fun, send me a message.

Cheers Smiley

I am looking to hear from Female members

I have several services, several "businesses" here on bitcointalk, I dont have any affiliation with that so called "filip". I just posted what I wanted for my sig campaign, added my adress and didnt even follow the topic then got paid. A user posted about this in my other topic where I said "I received 0.5 BTC from nowhere: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1239438 and I never scammed anyone, could you please remove your accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1235516.msg12906106#msg12906106) ?

Ok.. Well. after a LOT of thought. Nah. Fuck you, scammer. Prove it otherwise and I may consider it.

What is there to prove?
I've done nothing but good here.
I have no affiliation to that filip guy! ffs

Prove how you are sharing btc addresses with scammer accounts, otherise, youget red marks.

Sharing what with what?
How did I share my BTC adress ?!
I got it from my dearest boyfriend that in the time held around 90 cents, and I got really curious about it. Now after so many years of bitcoin interest you are connecting me to a guy 2 years back?

HAHAHA .. Seriously? That old boyfriend excuse? HAHAHA

HAHAHA .. Seriously? That old boyfriend excuse? HAHAHA

He/she PMed me too. Unfortunately I didn't get a boyfriend excuse or any other excuse Sad

I've done several deals, I hold several services here on Bitcointalk, why the negative trust?
I even did some escrows for free...

You haven't explained why you use the same Bitcoin addresses as a known scammer. The evidence posted by owlcatz is simple and straightforward and you're avoiding to address it.

My negative trust clearly states the reason for it so I'm not sure why you're even asking... respond to owlcatz and we'll go from there.

CoinDaddy.io just released its counterwallet and Counterparty development servers http://www.reddit.com/r/counterparty_xcp/comments/33m39y/ann_coindaddyio_hosts_public_counterwallet/

I think this was really needed. Maybe now people won't mistake it for a centralized service. Smiley

Okay, I'm gonna go and jack off now. When you figure out who controls the coindaddy.io domain, please come and join me where we'll have a big ole time. HAHAHA

You guys, I'm flattered.

P.S. Thinking that BitcoinStriker, Owlcatz, etc are my alts is fucking hilarious. I picked the answer I had in mind (as a middle finger to permissioned ledgers) and paid out to a random user who had it first. Now it really is the conspiracy barn.

P.P.S. If you think posting sex stuff is embarrassing please keep in mind I used to do cam shows with my ex, who is a tattoo model (think suicide girls and similar). Imaginary bonus points if you can find those!

Mwah, love y'all. I would like to dedicate this thread to my hero, Diogenes of Sinope.

11/08/2015 - Tymer posted this BTC address 1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255437.msg3520921#msg3520921

This has to be definite IMHO. The #2nd one was actually posted in 2013 so it was before BitcoinStriker posted that BTC address on his main, and the #2nd post is also unedited so there's no way that he could have been framed here.

BA Computer Science, University of Oxford
Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

The dates on that post are wrong, I never scammed anyone.
Belive it or not, I have no relation to that account or to the OP.
I just posted here randomly with my adress and then out of nowhere I got 0.5 BTC, which I even created a topic below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1239438

The one thing that does connect me to it is the "gay" adress ( the one that contains the word gay in the middle ) which is not my real adress, but a friend of mines who gave up on bitcoins long ago.
Like I said, believe it or not, I have no other way besides saying I didnt scam anyone.

I don't understand your logic here. What, did someone hack into the forum to change the dates?

which is not my real adress, but a friend of mines who gave up on bitcoins long ago.

Oh, come on dude...we hear this all the time and it's just such a lame excuse.

I know it is, its a kiddy excuse.
But, im telling the truth. Believe it or not.

I will continue my services here on BitcoinTalk, its just that I will be seen as a "scammer" when im not.

EDIT: If you check the "gay" wallet that connects me to the alts, and my actual wallet you will see that mine actually has older history than the "gay" one. This is just to prove that my lame excuse is actually true.

EDIT2: I actually went on my skype history and found my old conversation with my so called "lame excuse friend" and it clearly states that that adress is from my friends that he earned money playing on a Minecraft server that actually paid BTC for mining. Its in portuguese but I am willing to put here with image proof.

Is your Portuguese friend named paraipan who's not really dead?

paraipan: This is bullshit! I'm really dead. Do you wanna see the skype logs? If you don't believe the logs, then ask theymos. He'll tell you I'm really dead.

Why are you still deflecting? This address (not the "gay" one):

1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X

is still on your profile. It was also posted by some other user TWO YEARS AGO. That user is a scammer. Same address was also posted by you back then. How do you explain that?

If that was not enough, there is ANOTHER address (the "gay" one) used by you and that same scammer under a different alt (HueSinger), in a similar pattern. Now you're saying it's your friend's address.

Is Tymer/HueSinger your friend? Why are you still using his address two years later?

That is too much to be a coincidence. Even if your story is true you shouldn't be doing any business on this forum if you share a Bitcoin address with a known scammer. You're either complicit or woefully incompetent.

Man, the destruction here is unreal.

I'm not seeing much proof that actually definitely disproves all the proof against you at this point man, so while you're probably not the OP, you're definitely the alt of Tymer.

So why did you use 1E4w3EkiUW4cs5C9gRUKdTJja9KUadAh2X multiple times then? Did you happen to be using your (scammer) friend's address over a period of 2 years? That makes absolutely no sense, I don't see why you'd use it for a signature campaign either. I'm sorry, but I just don't see your argument here working.

What happened? It was original Opening Post. We are not discussing this anymore?

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

And now OP is changed to this:

Everyone act like crazy conspiracy theories in this thread please.

I think that this thread is not longer needed. As Op is not giving any BTC to anyone. Stop fueling this madness.

There is an on-going Bitcoin Conspiracy where Gov't agents and shills make honest, innocent members of our community appear to be guilty of scams.
Haven't you heard about it?   Tongue

That makes absolutely no sense, I don't see why you'd use it for a signature campaign either. I'm sorry, but I just don't see your argument here working.

There is an on-going Bitcoin Conspiracy where Gov't agents and shills make honest, innocent members of our community appear to be guilty of scams.
Haven't your heard about it?   Tongue

This isn't finished if you read the posts on this thread. If anything its just warming up. Payment was made to a fellow scammer.

Snorek my friend! I clearly remember you shilling back in GAW days along with a few other accounts like Slark... which were linked to yourself via Bitcoin addresses (see the irony yet?). We cannot find any registered user with this username? Are you Tymer007 ??

Yes

Ok this is getting really confusing. Here is the best I can figure out:

1) Tymer posts their Bitcoin address on Bitcointalk in November 2013.
2) Shortly thereafter Tymer and BitcoinStriker hook up and BitcoinStriker starts using Tymer's address because that's what friends do.
3) BitcoinStriker also uses an address posted by HueSinger, who is either Tymer's alt or maybe there is some kind of threesome going on.
4) Tymer/HueSinger turn out to be scammer(s) but BitcoinStriker is either oblivious to that fact or is ok with it.
5) BitcoinStriker also uses Tymer's username, maybe cross-dresses too.

OR

BitcoinStriker is Tymer is HueSinger.

This is a tough one  Grin

This is the definite proof. There's nothing else to say beyond this, as it can't be refuted. There is absolutely no reason BitcoinStriker would have an account called Tymer in multiple places if he was not Tymer, so he must be him. So he is a scammer, unless he was hacked in 2014 and hasn't realized yet. Wink

Okay....I am so confused!  What are the rules of this game.  We figure out who's using whose bitcoin address, we associate them with an alternate username, and then we accuse them of scamming?  If our accusations are proven then we win some bitcoin?  What do the alternative lifestyles have to do with the subject?

So, so confusing!  I think the whole thing is one big conspiracy to avoid being "outed" or something!  Right?

Sorry for being gone so long, but had to go see a doctor. He informed me that my problems lie with BitcoinTalk, so I sought out another opinion. Luckily, for me, Dr. Fodor, an expert in this field, informed me that there's nothin' wrong with me with the exception that I should change my cum-stained underwear more often.

Stay tuned, for my next post is a reply to the following post:

Hey, I'm going to have to report you to the Portugese Government for failing to create a safe space for 12 year olds by not referring to it as the "address with gay in it" now. You can't be using words like 1EbEEdJi2pvASwpCTSBZgayGvoK4DQEHUt around the kiddies, man, it's just not appropriate. Shame on you.

I know, it's gonna be a stretch to connect BitcoinStriker to 1EbEEdJi2pvASwpCTSBZgayGvoK4DQEHUt, but until proof is some day provided, we'll simply pretend it's his.

Shame on you.

lol,i just noticed the "gay" part. aha

You even found things I didnt know existed o.O

Do you have dementia something? Maybe you did it while you were sleepwalking? How can you make all of this stuff and then "forget" about it.

Your excuses are really just poor. I don't see how a 17 year old is a "kiddy" either, really. You've just been caught red-handed and all the excuses you make to try and "clear your name" just keep digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole. Just give up, man.

For the last time, Im not Tymer.
I've given up, no need to keep arguing.

With the exception of everybody else on the planet, the ONLY person who believes that BitcoinStriker IS NOT Tymer is BitcoinStriker aka Tymer aka Alexandre Ferreira Martins Paiva.

Regardless, Alexandre Ferreira Martins Paiva is gonna have a very difficult time gaining employment for the rest of his life thanks to his constant denials on the Internet. HAHAHA

Filip's a tad lucky that I have no cause to post other stuff 'bout him, but if anybody's so inclined to do such, simply search his real full name via Google News. Filip's full name plus Bitcoin via Google seems to rank fairly well. HAHAHA Also, I'm almost certain I could connect him to Silk Road. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have schrooms to deliver. HAHAHA

What if Satoshi Nakamoto was the NSA? what if bitcoin was all a plot to control people and to have them trust on a software who would run their lives?
What if Bitcoin is the beggining of SKYNET?

Maybe Bitcoin is not NSA but CIA its another trick in order to keep people from causing trouble like introducing Heroin into the ghettos. Another magical trick in order to keep us distracted from what the governments are really doing.

Then it is easy to catch the scammers, the criminals that demand bounties in bitcoin and stop the media from spamming this random stupid story over and over (yesterday I read another bbc article about a btc bounty)
