How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

I've been an addict. And some time I have tried to stop. It's not easy. I have read many articles of self help, saw several videos on youtube and always trying to kick the habit. More recently I read a book "the power of habit" and that helped overcome my addiction. Today when I want to play, I separate some bitcoins for it. If you lose not continue. I'll do something else. Currently I do Yoga and meditation.

But once you understand your addiction to gambling, you will get easy method to come out of it.
Many gamblers never understand about their gambling addiction, that situation is the big dangerous of gambling because they do not aware the reason and necessary to stay away from gambling.

Just say to yourself that you have to know that gambling is actually bad to do and that is because you have to know that there will be more people that is losing some money.

I'm pretty sure most people who gamble aren't addicts and even addicts aren't that crazy, only a few people get to that really super addicted point where they could even sell their house to gamble but those are special cases and if someone is willing to sell his house to gamble then he is an idiot, not just an addict.

Yup! not all gamblers gets addicted with gambling I think there are many ways in getting addicted with gambling and I think those people have a more deeper long term gaming in gambling and those people with a problem and thinking about the price they would get when they won on gambling.

you can get bitcoin for free, so I think a lot of people addicted to play gambling. because it can get bitcoin for free . but many of them also play just for fun with this free bitcoin.

How can you get bitcoins for free? If you are referring of getting it from signature campaign then I would say that it is not free as we cannot be all eligible to do the job, we are paid to work for it just like a real day job.

Golf Golf and more Golf has helped me.  I have an addictive personality by
nature so for me I need to stay busy doing other things. Also things that
can get my adrenaline going help feed that need for excitement. For me its
video games as I'm not a sky diver or anything crazy. Stay away from the
booze and stay busy helped me from constantly wanting to check football
spreads lol.

You need to have a total remake of your lifestyle. Go for a rehab. Not necessarily an institution. But go elsewhere you feel would help you keep your mind off of gambling. It really is not hard.

yeah, for gamblers it is not that much easy as the Btcshool has stated, they require hard struggle to make them understand that gambling is not good for them especially in those conditions when the gambler is not well in gambling and is loosing all of his money.

And also you need a support of your love ones, they should be the one to initiate things that would give your interest in doing to forget about gambling. No one can solve gambling addiction by himself because it is an emotional stress problem that would lead to being suicidal if it will become worst.

don't too many thinking lol , i confused watching you argue talking about "think" and "things". simple way to stay away and quit gambling are a strong intention then go to psychiatrist (this is good strong intetion want to quit gambling) do what they said disciplined and done!

That is a good guide but if the gambler himself would not follow it diligently, nothing will happen and will still continue to be a slave of gambling. Addiction is a serious disease that requires serious emotional medication, the help of family and friends are necessary in this stage.

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Gambling is indeed very addicting. In gambling you should know when to stop or else you will really lose everything. Set a percent of your bankroll when to stop if you are losing and also set a percent when to STOP when you are winning. And last do not chase your losses.
