Can someone tell me whats the difference between "public BTC address" or my "withdraw address"? Since I only have one btc address (stored on usb stick).
Site wants me to have public btc address set but as of right now I have same address in both fields.
Withdrawal address is simply what you use to withdraw coins to. The public btc address is something that asset-issuers can use to identify you with. After the site is offline, asset-issuers can pay dividends or buybacks to your public address. Also, in case the asset changes to a "direct share" setup (like ASICMINER uses), you can use your public address to sign messages with and asset issuers can verify that the message came from you. There is no problem with having the withdrawal address the same as your public address. Thanks dude!

Check the thread of the asset(s) you have shares in. Contingency-plans are up to the individual asset-issuers.

Should litecoinglobal.com operate at a loss for more than 30 days, burnside reserves the option to liquidate and distribute the proceeds. We don't know the reason why burnside is shutting down his exchanges, but this is plainly not the reason. The announcement reads, " As a result of recent changes in the virtual currency regulatory environment, the btct.co and litecoinglobal.com virtual stock market websites will be closing down. The following is our current schedule:" A reasonable speculation would be that he has either already recieved a cease and desist letter/pressure to shut down, or he or a lawyer feels that there is serious risk for a regulatory agency to shut down Litecoinglobal and btct so rather than waiting, he chose to shut everything down on his terms and hopefully avoid legal issues. Of course, nothing will be really known until Burnside releases more details, however I believe what I posted to be at least fairly likely and probably not too FUDy. I quoted a section of the ltc-global contract. The shutdown conditions stated there were not met.

Check the rejected transactions list transaction ids won't show up if it is not included in a block http://blockchain.info/rejectedHmm almost off that list saves a copy of it before it gets off the page http://postimg.org/image/6lo7se5th/

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL BTC TRADING CORP WEBSITE PARTICIPANTS
As a result of recent changes in the virtual currency regulatory environment, the btct.co and litecoinglobal.com virtual stock market websites will be closing down. The following is our current schedule:
Approximately a week ago, both sites were closed to any new users and new asset creation was disabled. Effective immediately, in conjunction with this release, trading will be halted, all order books cleared, and trading re-enabled. October 7, 2013, all forms of secondary market trading will be halted on both sites. Approximately October 31, 2013, both sites will be taken offline. It is strongly suggested that participants take the following steps to protect all of their virtual assets: All participants should take steps to transfer all of your BTC and LTC (and any other data you wish to keep, such as CSV trade histories) held on the sites to your personal computer or another trusted site. All participants should make sure that their public BTC or LTC address is properly set in the Account page on the Settings tab whereby it can be shared with all issuers. All “issuers” should have the contact information concerning their “investors”, and we ask that all “issuers” communicate with their “investors” as soon as possible as to how they will ensure that all are treated appropriately.
We regret this development. However, we want to do everything we can to minimize problems arising from this transition. It is our goal to keep this shutdown orderly and calm.
Thank you for your participation, creativity, loyalty and sense of community over the past year. Additional communications will follow as we work out the details.
Ethan Burnside BTC Trading Corp.
What I want to know is this: after six months during which you've charged users superlative fees for using imaginary services you failed to provide, how exactly are you going to effect the refund of those BTC? Seems that if I rent a house and ten days later the landlord wants me to move he owes me money above and beyond whatever I paid him upfront, twice in most jurisdictions. Getting people to list on your "exchange" in the spring and telling them to pack it in the autumn is in no way different. So, how do you intend to identify those you owe BTC to as a result of your tortiously gross negligence, and how do you intend to calculate the BTC sums owed and by what date do you intend to have repaid everyone?

I know you all are busy w/ the close down. But, I don't know where else to turn as support and my PM to ya have not been answered. I cancelled a loan in progress funding on btcjams yesterday to get my asset on collateral back so, I could sell or watever w/ them. Your site crashed mid way and only 1 of my 3 stocks were returned. I've emailed btcjams, send info to btc-tc support and have pm'd you directly here with the details. I know it's just a small amount, but it's my small amount. TY.
