Anyone else having deposit issues this morning?  I sent a deposit and it's had 3 confirmations, but isn't showing in my wallet on btct.co.

Thanks,
Dave

Click the refresh button next to your balance on the Wallet page. BTCT is sometimes a bit slow to update your balance after the 3 confirms.

I've seen that before, but this time the pending deposit notification disappeared after 3 confirmations.

I mentioned this to burnside before and he explained that the "pending" disappears automatically after 3 confirmations, but the money isn't credited until a cron job is run.

Is it also for the recipient? I use the same email-address for my dummy-account and I only got one email when I tested it (asset-transfers are reported for both sender and recipient), while I couldn't find an email from the time that I actually received a coin-transfer from someone else.

The value/share is not included in the email, but the comment for coin transfers. The value/share is shown in /csv/trades though.

The workarounds are getting more convoluted by the minute Cheesy

Agreed. Grin

Try withdrawing something, that will force a balance check.

We've been trying to work out some fairly serious issues.  I really hope to be able to post more soon.

EEK! Burnside, we've seen this before. If you can't comment on this, it can only mean you are in legal trouble, and then everything will go to hell. Especially given that it implies you have been forced to close registration either by lawyer's advice or officially.

Based on my past experience I am going have to act as if BTC-TC will close within 24 hours.

BMF reminds it's investors that it is not liable for losses caused by the closure of an exchange... :/

Immediately after this I placed all securities on sale and attempted to withdraw the balance of BMF's account (more than 50 BTC).

Not 20 min later, I see this:

"Apologies. Trading has been temporarily frozen for system maintenance. We'll be back shortly"

Additionally, my balance shows "Balance: 0" which means we are missing ~80 BTC.

That is so not cool.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL BTC TRADING CORP WEBSITE PARTICIPANTS

As a result of recent changes in the virtual currency regulatory environment, the btct.co and litecoinglobal.com virtual stock market websites will be closing down.  The following is our current schedule:

Approximately a week ago, both sites were closed to any new users and new asset creation was disabled.

Effective immediately, in conjunction with this release, trading will be halted, all order books cleared, and trading re-enabled.

October 7, 2013, all forms of secondary market trading will be halted on both sites.

Approximately October 31, 2013, both sites will be taken offline.  It is strongly suggested that participants take the following steps to protect all of their virtual assets:

All participants should take steps to transfer all of your BTC and LTC (and any other data you wish to keep, such as CSV trade histories) held on the sites to your personal computer or another trusted site.

All participants should make sure that their public BTC or LTC address is properly set in the Account page on the Settings tab whereby it can be shared with all issuers.

All “issuers” should have the contact information concerning their “investors”, and we ask that all “issuers” communicate with their “investors” as soon as possible as to how they will ensure that all are treated appropriately.

We regret this development. However, we want to do everything we can to minimize problems arising from this transition.  It is our goal to keep this shutdown orderly and calm.

Thank you for your participation, creativity, loyalty and sense of community over the past year.  Additional communications will follow as we work out the details.

Ethan Burnside
BTC Trading Corp.

I'm not a Coinbase fan -- I placed a buy order, they took the funds out of my account, then a week later the price went up and they canceled the buy and closed my account.  You've been warned.  Use a different exchange.

This is great news!  Can't wait for Ciphermine to be on Bitfunder!   Cool

Bitcoin-XT shatters existing structures, fragments the community, and spins the ecosystem into chaos.
Bitcoin XTs Tor IP blacklist downloading system has significant privacy leaks.
Use PseudoNode and NotXT to protect status quo until real technical consensus is formed about the blocksize.  NotXT can also be used to mine.
