As a sidenote looks like havelock got turned into a real exchange so they will pass on the torch symbolically

https://www.havelockinvestments.com/20131101-announcement.php

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 1, 2013 - Havelock Investments (HavelockInvestments.com), a leading Bitcoin Denominated Investment Fund, announced today that it has executed a definitive agreement to be acquired by The Panama Fund, S.A, a fully licensed and registered Panamanian Investment Company.

The acquisitions creates the world's first, fully licensed, Bitcoin Denominated Fund Exchange, where companies from around the world will be able to raise capital directly, through the exclusive use of Bitcoins.

With this acquisition HavelockInvestments.com will be able to maintain its current Funds, as well as expand its operations, while attracting new opportunities in the rapidly expanding Bitcoin Marketplace.

The original HavelockInvestments.com team will remain in place and will play a key role in the future growth of the company.

It's good to know that they're taking steps to reduce exposure.  They need to move to Panama though if they're going to continue to be involved.  Smiley

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

If you had your public BTC address set on your account, it'll get auto-withdrawn soon to that address.  I just wrapped up the upgrade to bitcoind 0.8.5 this evening.  I'll script the auto withdraw next, most likely tomorrow.

Cheers.

Since we cant login anymore i think it would be a good thing to make a roundmail to all account holders containing all 4 csv-files with trading data, divs and so.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Yes.

The auto withdraw script is up and running.  It's iterating through accounts alphabetically.  Due to limited inputs in the wallet, it is only doing about one transaction every 10 minutes.  I expect it to take a few days to get through everyone's 0.0015 and 0.002 BTC withdrawals.

Since we cant login anymore i think it would be a good thing to make a roundmail to all account holders containing all 4 csv-files with trading data, divs and so.

I've been thinking about this.  Problem is that my email methods do not support attachments and updating all that would be a lot of work.  Maybe we could email everyone their API keys. The read-only API's are still up and could probably be kept up for a month or two.

Cheers.

Wouldnt that mean having to code a script to download that things or is it possible to create a url including the api key and download the csv this way easily?

The site already supported downloading all the CSV's using the API key without logging in.  Smiley

Could you give an example of how to do that?

Could you give an example of how to do that?

If you know your API key, you can use links such as https://btct.co/csv/trades?key=[API key] to download the CSV. A full list is on the FAQ page. If you don't know your API-key, then I can't think of an easy way to obtain it.

https://btct.co/faq?tab=tab5
https://www.litecoinglobal.com/faq?tab=tab5

That has all the CSV endpoints on it.

If you don't already know your API key then you are out of luck until I can script a mass email with all the info.

Are you planning to publish list of transactions? I'd like to assign this withdrawal correctly to my tracking system ;-).

It's not a big surprise.

Similar to all other site withdrawals you'll receive an email and it'll show up in your CSV if you snag one later when all is said and done.

The script is only about half way through the "b's" ... it's going to be quite some time I think for it to get through everything.

Cheers.

Yeah.  Sad Sad

I thought that might happen.  My best wishes go out to Ukyo and his family.  Shutting down something of this size is not a fun process.  I hope everyone is as understanding and patient with him as they have been with me.
