Only personal calculation for 1/4-Finals

Bolt Brownie (E2)
MonsterV

Saturn643(E2)
Karpeles

4 participants will go to the next round quarter finals. patt0 actually likely to qualify  with 5 points nad Saturn643(E2)  3 points
Pat0 made a mistake with the final ROI -26.62 Saturn643(E2) receive additional 3 points  total 6 points

Yes I did not expect so much goals and after the 2-0 things were already out of hand for me and I had to risk. Then I saw some of bitbollo and Jcga bets, and I decided to make them at higher odds (the under 5.5 and 4.5). If I lost them, which I thought I would, it would be good for my top7 entry, if I won them, I would pass to the semi-finals.

It will still be very hard to maintain first place, since I don't think bitbollo will lose more 1.01 bets, so he still can win around 14% with just those, but top3 sure looks better now, lets see how it goes.

bitbollo (1) should get 10% ROI to hit you fall and  bets  available only 7 for bitbollo (1)  because the total bet 93 of the limit of 100 bets
So bitbollo (1) should get 1.5% ROI on each bet and all bets must win if one bets lose then he should get more ROI on each bet
Of the above calculation you are likely to be in the top standings

With 1% bets he can get 1.33% ROI bet without loss. He would have to do slightly better than that in 10 bets. Not impossible task, but not easy, because there are only 3 games remaining

If he just keeps doing fill in bets @1.01 he can't just bet 1%, he needs to bet 5%, that is the same as 10% of his initial bankroll, to win around 1.4% on each bet (because of the 13% bonus).

So he is risking 10% to a 1.4% bankroll increase. If he loses one bet he is out, unless he makes "normal" bets of course.
It shouldn't be that hard to win 7 bets @1.01, so he will be the winner for sure.

I missed this side contest and I don't understand anything. Now I see in OP but too many rules and too many bets required, I wouldn't play with that many bets anyway. Good luck to other players. Maybe if you make more simple competition I'll join. Exact 100 bets rule is pretty dissuasive.

Hello ingiltere, we are now in our seventh competition, and the rules have been changing over time, specially after the first three competition, but have been quite stable on the last three events, and users seem to be able to fulfill the requirements.

We tried to implement a competition with a conservative bankroll management, that should bring profit on the long run. That's why we ask for 100 bets with a small bet stake (from 1% to 5% of current bankroll).

I see that you use a complete different approach as a betting strategy. Seems to be very "aggressive" and very accurate, almost like "surgical" bets. You need that of course to be able to bet 500% of your declared bankroll like you successfully did in the Germany v Slovakia game.

By no means I'm questioning your approach, it actually seems very profitable, but in an open competition, like the one we have, it would create many balance problems. Here are some examples:

-Some users don't even bet 5% of their declared bankroll, so they would not be able to compete with a user that feels comfortable in betting 500% of is declared bankroll. For this reason we can't remove stake limits.

-We can't really change the 100 bet limit as well, because we want to create a long run effect in this competition, by challenging our participants to keep a positive ROI% even with a large number of bets.

I'm not saying this is the best way to gamble, I'm just explaining why we have these rules and this system. Right now this seems the best way to promote a challenging competition available to almost anyone (with our participation prize of 70mBTC and a minimum bankroll of 100mBTC, it should really be available to anyone actually, almost at risk free).

Of course that we listen to our participants feedback, so feel free to make suggestions and we will see what we can do.

-snip-

It contains only Euro 2016 and Copa America Centenario tournaments so I thought 100 bets is already impossible. That's why I don't bet to make it 100 bets and good ROI, I just played freely. Competition task is hard because tournaments have limited games and we had to make 100 bets in 30 days, most of the days there isn't even a single match played.
Same bankroll and % of bankroll per bet are good rules but exact 100 bets rule is too hard to accomplish.

I just left the top 7 Sad

It seems this will be another competition I won't get anything but the participation prize. Well, I will wait for the next edition and prepare a better strategy.

Congratulations to those that have made it to the top Smiley!

Don't worry, maybe Germany wins by 4+ goals tomorrow and you may get your top 7 back again

Hello.

Please remove my two bets from the picks:

https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1FePFwnJHKQFUQSqPhrWi1YF676MUXRrE2

I could just go for double chance home/away instead, and save 1 bet, so I asked the support to cancel the bets and they did it

Are you sure those bets are counting for the competition. You have 90 valid bets, and 92 on your bet list, so I believe they have been already excluded from the competition. If you think that your valid bet counter on the leaderbaord should be 88 and not 90, I will check with directbet.

@FrueGreads, when is next round of tipster championship going to start? i wish to join it as i have some spare funds and wish to try out my luck and make it somewhat larger.

Hello mcb1221, I'm glad you wish to join us.
As usual after this one is over we will take some time for balance, and to listen to feedback etc, so we can improve the next one if needed (it normally lasts a few weeks). After that time we normally open the registration period that also lasts a few weeks, and then we start.

So you need to stay tuned to this thread, as we will keep making all the announcements here. Looking back to the other competitions, it should start on August, but this is not an official date yet, so keep following this thread for the official announcement.

Then the next edition will be during the Olympic games?

I just hope we can bet in things outside the Olympic games in the next competition
