Why would customers use Bitcoins?

I came to figure out, why would a consumer/customer use Bitcoins?
You have to pay the 3 cent fee, while you dont have to pay anything when paying with a credit card.

So what is really a benefit for using Bitcoins, customer wise?

I think the reason why the customers using it maybe some are they just want to experience the benefits of bitcoin, or some are for the investment, others are for savings and lastly they want to encounter those benefits of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is easy because your money will not be at risk like what happen with credit card thief, your information is safe because it is decentralized. This days it is hard to trust people even the government that you would think it will its citizens.

the decentralized system have nothing to do with the security,with bitcoin all the security is depend on you,but with bank you'll get a guarantee from the bank that issueing credit card when you're losing your money due to hacked or what else,and as long you didn't break government's rule,it's okay to save on bank

In some ways you are correct but i think i would have to disagree with you. The decentralized system could really be a big help on us bitcoin users but this would varies on the support of  each of the users and most of all from the government.

To bitcoin beign used as day to day payment method it should be very easy to pay for groceries with it.
So you just pull out your phone at payment point of shopping, click once on it and its done.

Yes it is done, however the transaction speed is not as fast as you thought,  so how can you get your things if your payment hasnt been confirmed, and then how would you know you will have enough bitcoin to buy your things since there are no price tag in bitcoin in every thing that you want to buy, so i think bitcoin not yet ready to be applied in grocery store

I would say that I agree with your point,bitcoin still lack of features for offline transaction,the confirmation is like a wall that make people really got hard time for doing offline transaction,who want to wait 30 minutes in front of merchant for only buying a milk,that's not funny at all

I think you are talking about not giving sufficient amount of transaction fees that is why it takes so much of time for confirmation, but If the merchant accepts the bitcoin payment on one confirmation then i think their wont be that much problem with using bitcoin for daily expenses.

using bitcoin for daily expenses is still not that much hard. if you use good transaction fee your payment will be done immediately.. some real bitcoin lovers in USA and Brazil adjusting their self with the slow transaction in their shops and food centers, because they truly want to help bitcoin to grow up.

yes but people who are not aware about bitcoins will surely find it complicated at initial stage but over a period of time they will come to know that it is very easy to use and best payment method.

i think in bitcoin payment we get the surity of privacy that how much money ( in btc ) we have . which is the beauty of the bitcoin .
since in case of credit card or debit card there is always remain a chance to steal your detail by carder .

i would disagree. i will give you that a lot of the transactions happen because people invest in bitcoin or trade altcoin, but other than that many use it because they believe in it. and by that i mean firstly they believe in the aspect that you can control it. but we need more opportunities to spend bitcoin.

Yeah spending bitcoin is more opportunities . just like mine my investment bitcoin i use some of them to buy domains and start hosting it that i can get more profit if i am lucky that my site are popular.

Many people see it more as an investment option rather than a currency, that's right. But a lot people also use it as a currency tool to send and receive transactions, buy things, etc. Important to know is that there aren't many places where you can spend your coins for your daily needs. If that at some point will change, then people are much more willing to spend their coins.

Many people see it more as an investment option rather than a currency, that's right. But a lot people also use it as a currency tool to send and receive transactions, buy things, etc. Important to know is that there aren't many places where you can spend your coins for your daily needs. The truth is more to an investment really. Just a little percentage of users that buys thru online shops. We could see that with every transaction of that shop. I would rather do that too. For now, it is growing like crazy. That is why they are keeping it too.

bitcoin is not a trend. to small yet. the security is good enough, but you have to know more to be secure if you compare bitcoin to other money services. bitcoin as investment and earning opportunity is right now more an side effect than something you want in daily used money.

I agree, bitcoin gives opportunity to people to earn from their holdings.  They have currency and investment packaged in bitcoin.  Bitcoin also enable customers to venture in a different horizon where lots of opportunity is everywhere.  Aside from security and fast transaction, bitcoin enable customer to meet new people and venture for a possible profit generating business.

i don't think customers are looking for a source of income when they think about using or not using bitcoin as payment.

the things that are important are the security of bitcoin when using it and the most important of all is the fee which is so low it makes it a lot more profitable to use bitcoin.
