Get ready to dump some coins because a mini spike is going to happen in the next 48 hrs.
How do I know? You ask...

Because I just sold some btc. If it works out the same as every other time I've needed to liquidate, the price will go up at least 15 dollars before tomorrow night.

Just a friendly heads up

Almost 48 hours have been passed and i don't see that the bitcoin price has been increased since that time, on the contrary the price has been decreased for about 5 dollars.

Seeing these events with the whole price hype in the past, dont give it too much credit.

Unless you hear some exchange is off-loading coins or something huge.

Seems like luck was finally on your side.
You sold and the price didn't go up.  Grin

Haha this was a first thing that came to my mind after I have read an opening post! Granted, everyone's luck is bound to change sooner than later, I guess that we have just witnessed OP's luck changing altogether! Smiley

The price just jumped 6% today. It is quite large as the recent price is quite stable. Maybe people think bitcoin is safer than shares.

The price has dropped from $450 about a week ago. It is caused by comment from Mike Hearn.

It rose to $400 after a week. But it dropped below $400 again. That could be caused by the new 2MB proposal.

...as if the HF has anything to do with prices - today. LOL Grin

Who do you think is really gonna sell his stash in the most known and trusted ledger out there. Neither 1 Megabiters nor 2 Megabiters will do... And if they do, I feel really bad for all the early investors handing over their keys to financial freedom to the existing power-hungry elite that will luckily bite into every piece of cake they can get.

I'd like to remind you, that bitcoin itself is one of the riskiest investments one can take atm. If you invested without taking into consideration a technical or economical break-down (including the block size theme, discussed since the beginning of Bitcoin) aka "only invest, what you can afford to lose", you are probably not a good investor - just that.

IMO everything block size related (even a split) is priced in at current prices (read bottom). If we get a solution that is followed by the majority of current investors we'll going to see a new ATH  (read moon soon). I would even go as far as to tell you, that their is no solution neccessary to get us there, as Bitcoin is "producing economic majoritiesTM" for more than 7 years in a row.

Always wrong until not.

I think this is really going to happen.

The price is in fact now very low and people are buying because they are so massive now believe it will be worth much later.

But I would just sit back and not be greedy. Have patience.

I agree with you. The price is in fact now very low and I think that's going to change later so. But it is a price and that you can never know in advance.
But we should hope and quietly wait.

I think the bitcoin will rise but not so soon as the most people think.
Its of course never to predict but its not likely it will rise to a very high amount.

All the traders believe that the price of Bitcoins will touch $500 soon. So it is the best time to buy Bitcoins because the price is really very low but yes as most of the traders are doing this it would be risky also. So, instead of buying more and more  bitcoins the traders keep patience and wait for the best time to sell them.

yes, Bitcoin is very quiet right now and it looks like a great buy.  I am hoping this is the quiet before the storm.

I love Bitcoin

Just a friendly heads up

The OP sold on Nov 23rd, at $325.

Nov 25th-26th, Bitcoin pumped $320 - $370.

By Dec 12th, Bitcoin had topped out at $475.

Bitfinex victims. DO NOT TOUCH THE BFX TOKEN! Start moving it around, or trading it, and you will be construed as having accepted it as an alternative means of payment to your USD, BTC, etc.

If there is enough demand for something like Bitcoin in the future, then it can definitely reach a very high price in let's say 5 to 10 years. I am supporting Bitcoin for the very long term. If the price indeed goes up to insanely high price levels, then I have done very well.

Yes it will be a a few years before we will see a stable price.
These ups and downs are something we will keep seeing the coming years.

Don't hope so in near future because there is not strong point or reason to do so except if some manipulation happens but that will not survive long as they will try to dump soon after pump.

I believe only the upcoming halving would be the enough reason for bitcoin prices keep on raising now a days. The economic slow down around the globe may push investors to look for alternate investments like bitcoin. So, anytime we can expect price increases.
