Many people around me think that Bitcoin is just virtual currency
But i try to convince them and support this powerful crypto currency

it takes time to convince them Im sure, more of the elderly has no interest about this technology, but the younger one's are still eager, they are easier to convince..

Many people around me don't know anything about Bitcoin right now, i still trying to advertise this powerful crypto currency and support it, but i think Bitcoin need real tools to be advertised enough worldwide
It’s clear that bitcoin has a long way to go to build its brand and to demonstrate utility. But that does ask the question:
does a lack of understanding mean that it won’t gain usage? Or, asked in another way: even if 80% of people say they never use bitcoin, will there come a point where they use it without realizing it?

Unfortunately there is no one even never heard about bitcoin around me, I want to introduce it to them but it seems so hard for them to understand about bitcoin. I have a plan to make a small workshop in order to introduce it to my neighbors, but it requires me some money.
Is there any effective ways to introduce bitcoin to people who never heard about btc?

Many people think that Bitcoin is not safe and that you can be hacked I think. They think that the wallets are also not secure.
But they must use it and see that the Bitcoin is very good to use and it is also very secure.

The most people around me think the bitcoin is just a currency and because of his bad name they do not want to use it.
I think the media really controls the future of the bitcoin because they are making the bitcoin popular or not because of the fact they can destroy the bitcoin.

bitcoin is not just about virtual currency. bitcoin is more than that. bitcoin can do anything. more than the usual currency. bitcoin can be an investment tool or a commodity. and so forth Cheesy

People around me think bitcoins as a asset and they all use it and save some for future, while some consider it as a tool and easy way of gambling, because you can anonymous with it.

Not bad.So you have friends, people around you who know about Bitcoin and seem to be interested in Bitcoin.
Most people I know think that I'm a lunatic and Bitcoin is nothing more than a fad or a scam.
However there are also a few ones I was able to bring into Bitcoin space and who really understand the concept behind it.
Every single person you can bring into our space or convince that Bitcoin is a serious real thing is worth the effort imo.

Yeah, people who are smart and have good vision and good knowledge of technology will always view bitcoin as a positive, but there are few bunch of people who will always hesitate in investing their money in bitcoins.

In my environment the ones who are open to new things and techsavy are listening carefully when i tell them about bitcoin, but not yet investing.
Others don't want anything to do with it.

I'm from the United States. First heard about Bitcoin in 2011 on a podcast. Thought it was absolutely fascinating and have been hooked ever since. I love the freedom and financial protection to people it offers to people who truly need it. I've never experienced shoe leather inflation or devaluation or entire denominations of money being taken out of circulation, but Bitcoin helps protect against those who need protection.

I think I posted in this thread a while back about telling a coworker about bitcoin and the signature campaign stuff, etc.  Well he fucking got fired, and now there's really no one to tell about this crazy bitcoin world that exists--much less about altcoins.  It's too bad, he would have made a great bitcoin scammer.  LOL

I'm from The Netherlands and most people around me think they are too late to join the party and that all the gains have been made already.
Next, they keep asking me how it is doing when the price was dropping down from 1200, and after that they never mention it anymore.

I think it's maybe late to join, but not too late.
as long as bitcoin exists, it's not too late.

probably they didn't understand that bitcoin is really money  Grin

it was the same as my expression when I did not know bitcoin deeper. believe me they give expression like that. Because they do not know the special of bitcoin. if they are already familiar with bitcoin. I'm sure they would be very interested in the system and innovation of bitcoin
