Hashrate of botpool + pool.leocoin is only 1000 KH/s . But Nethash is always from 5000 KH/s to 9000 KH/s . Bots have 80%-90% hashrate of nethash . Please fix it quickly. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fvplvp744neg64m/leo.jpg

Re. Botnet-virus
ATT. this is my personal opinion and not an official statement from the LEOcoin Foundation.
Like other scypt-Jane crypto currencies, also LEOcoin has probably suffered from attacks on the mining pools, the LEOcoin-network and exchanges. These are typical aggressions from a botnet. WikiPedia describes this as :
"a number of Internet-connected computers communicating with other similar machines in an effort to complete repetitive tasks and objectives. This can be as mundane as keeping control of an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel, or it could be used to send spam email or participate in distributed denial-of-service attacks. The word botnet is a combination of the words robot and network. The term is usually used with a negative or malicious connotation."
If a botnet would let their hacked computers collectively mine a crypto currency, they could get a significant share of the network hash, at virtually no costs. Particularly when CPU mining gets stronger and GPU mining gets weaker.
If we look at the estimated energy costs - so without hardware costs - to mine a LEOcoin today, the LEOcoin price should at least be around 40-50 pence in order to cover for energy costs. With hardware and maintenance, any price below 1£ would not make much sense, then after all, mining is a business and miners have families to feed too. On top of that, most miners reserve a considerable amount of coins, just in case the price goes up and up and up.
As a consequence, any one selling at current low prices; a) has mined earlier and has a lot of LEOcoins, b) is selling at a loss, c) has no energy costs, or d) has stolen the coins. Options c and d lead to massive dumping because the coins are free so any price is profitable.
However, LEOcoin is backed up by a couple of organisations and by network of about 200,000 members and merchants. Many of them kept on mining, as they trust that LEOcoin will stay on the market and the price will rise once the dumping is stopped. The recent proposal to move from a POW/POS to a solely POS mechanism is one measure that would prevent botmining and that will quickly lead to a sharp decrease in LEOcoins offered for sale. Meanwhile, the network supporting LEOcoin will grow and so will demand. If supply goes down, we will see the price react on the market mechanism and return to 'normal' values.
ATT. this is my personal opinion and not an official statement from the LEOcoin Foundation.

So over 20.000 leocoin free a day! Last few months!
Not really free. First, the computers that were infected/hacked used a lot of energy to create Hashes and someone had to pay for that electricity bill. Second, the dumping likely caused a negative price-spiral that effected in other LEOcoin owners seeing their value drop. Third, LEOcoin Foundation, LEO Ltd. and others where falsely accused of dumping, where in fact they kept on mining and supporting LEOcoin. Fourth, the reputation and popularity of LEOcoin was damaged. Meanwhile LEOcoin Foundation and others have worked on finding solutions. There will be a new wallet, the LEOxChange will get faster, and when the POS proposal gets an affirmative vote, the staking mechanism will in a fair and cost-effective way reward those who own and stake LEOcoins.

1) If/After the POS will have been implemented, you will also be able to stake with LEOcoins that are in your back-office, as these are of course part of the blockchain. LEOcoin Foundation will announce updates regarding voting process (if any), date of conversion (if any) and availability of the updated LEOcoin Wallet. 2) Already currently LEOcoin wallets can stake (mine are!) and you will occasionally receive stake interest. 3) I have not heard yet if LEOcoins that are held on the LEOxChange will also return stake interest. I will try to get an update in this regard.

So dont get shit twisted, our money straight and safe, we are just sharing our experience with LEO in general. So GTFOH, invest, pls do, pump it as much as you can, well be dumpin it....
