Hope some leocoin miner can tell what is mining cost right now for 1 leocoin? That is hard to say in general, but as most of the botnet hashes seem to have left, perhaps the current prices are not interesting enough to mine LEOcoins. Mining costs have three major components; the hardware costs (purchase price/depreciation), the maintenance costs (cleaning, repairing, writing scripts, housing etc.) and energy costs (for mining and cooling). Depending on the hardware you use and the location, you will have different cost prices, mainly influenced by energy cost per KW/h. In Germany these are e.g. 0,25€ and in Slovenia less than 0,15€. Also the difficulty comes into account, the more LEOcoins you get for your Hashrate, the better. I estimate the current bottom LEOcoin mining price, to be around 70K satoshi, or 0,28$. This also means that those still mining LEOcoins must make a loss, but regard it as future investment. It also shows - as we have been mentioning regularly - that LEOcoin is heavily underrated. |

I am still figuring out what happened last night. Maybe we can get alt. ports with a different Dif.. But remember, LEOcoin Foundation is not operating pool.leocoin.org, but we can ask, not determine. |

Oh and the POS? Hows that looking? Last plan was LAST YEAR in november, then "this month", now in a few months....Oh well....
@BarrioFInito Can you support your statement with evidence? E.g. that indeed someone was speaking about switching from POW/POS mining to a sole POS mechanism, as you say: "LAST YEAR in november" ? Otherwise you are the one spreading LIES ... As far as I am aware of, the POS was for the first time publicly addressed end of January at the Bali Event of LEO Ltd. Again your whole argument seems mostly based on your apparent problem with a third party: LEO. You may of course have problems, but it would be nice if you stick to facts when it concerns things like POS, which are of importance for our fellow contributors here. |
