I think all games that require betting that includes gambling. Bet on sports that include gambling because we had to guess who wins the bet. Bet included into gambling, because each of us wants to gamble should definitely have bet beforehand.

Betting on sport = gambling is definitely correct because once you bet in sportbook like in directbet.eu is consider as a branch of gambling and in short its gambling.
Yes, for me its also a gambling also. there is money involved and it cause addiction also like any betting game.But if you bet on regular season with a family to watch together,its a good bonding moments but doing it everyday just to think for winnings not a good sign. Agree betting games is really belongs to gambling as long as money is involve it will called gambling. I do agree betting games like sports is really addicted like me when NBA playoffs comes i do bet frequently and now the playoff season starts i start also betting but i keep loosing now . |

Other all gambling games sportsbetting is somehow a good game though with higher chance of winning on selecting the best team. Back on the topic Betting on sport is actually a gambling game because you are risking your money to win money and thats considered already as gambling. |

Who people can say that sports betting is not gambling? sports betting is totally gambling since we are hear that terms of bet it should be called gambling.. if its money involve its should be gambling.. no can say that is not a gamble because you can see those sports betting in some sites here. that involves in bitcoin..
Gambling has very simple definition where money has risks it's pure gambling, sports betting is also form of gambling but some people have very good percentage of return, that could be big reason why people think like this sports betting is not gambling. |

yes no doubt about this but to me gambling on sports is little easy as here you can use your skill and experience with luck and so you can really make money easily that any other format of gambling. |

They are same, betting is almost gambling, betting means do research and taking the risk. Gambling means randomness like baccarat and blackjack, and sports are also random results.
Agree, and sports betting once you've bet money in the game, that will be always be called gambling because there is already money involve in the game. |

By definition on dictionary, the word "gamble" means "to play a game in which you can win or lose money or possessions". http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gamble So of course, sports betting is a form of gambling. One can argue from that definition that you're not playing a game, you're betting on a game. Yeah I would say that betting on sport games is gambling because you do not know the outcome of the game and you are putting money on the game. but if a good team plays a bad team you now who has the advantage and who will most likely win the game. |

Dont you think that it still not a gambling? taking risk? yeah, anything that has risks in my opinion is dangerous and anything that can no be predicted is considered a dangereous gambling. so even in sports betting if you are sure of your bets that you make that doesn't change it at all. it would still be a dangaerous gambling and you are not safe from it. |

If you are really careful with betting and have source to get some inside news than it's not a gambling, but I personally would like to say this sports betting is very similar to any other casino game and it is gambling in definition of risk factor. |

Sports betting is gambling and I take it this way like many other people. Since there is nothing sure about the outcome of your bet ending at profit or with some loss. This is gambling's universal explanation where you have even a loosing chance of 0.01% it will be gambling. Whereas in sports betting chances of loosing are much more higher but lesser than other kinds of gambling.
