BTC is barely used anywhere at all. Which makes it alot less 'valuable' in my eyes.

We know that the price while presently stable, can change at any minute and it usually does. This has often led to feelings of distrust and worry amongst users and the general public. yes i think it has almost become the global currency of the world

as we can see now bitcoin has appeared almost in everywhere, just in matter of time it will become global and everybody can spend and do transaction with it

It is certainly global if you mean it can be transferred anywhere with ease, however.

Thats reasonable, Bitcoin is really currency without borders and not controlled by any country - pretty much ideal in global trade. But Bitcoin cannot replace USD and other currencies because with maximum 5 transactions per seconds, it is not enought, even if you increase 1000x the thoroughput (1GB blocks ), it is not enought for replacing all other currencies

I doubt that bitcoin user base will be that large so we would need capacity that huge. Not right now, and probably not in the near future. Bitcoin community as of now is maybe 4-5 mln people, at most!
Until we will need more transactions per second, considering our growth, it could take years. Until then bitcoin core protocol can be changed to answer these problems.

I agree with your thought process, but the issue is that I am not sure any government has accepted it as a currency.  We can treat it as a currency all we want, but until the government accepts it as a currency, it is going to be hard for it to mainstream.

bitcoin it's the evolution of gold, in a digital way, gold was also the currency in the past of the world, but it did not work quite well too expensive and troublesome to carry on

bitcoin replaced it perfectly as a means of payment, and as a investment also, but still one can argue about the stability, i can say give it more time and youc an compare it to gold perfectly

It is because it's not adopted to any country. You can use it anywhere and everywhere you are. If only merchants and such would accept it more, that would be amazing. I do believe bitcoin has a brighter future than any other currency out there.

It's true what you're saying but the only way for bitcoin to become stronger and bigger worldwide, is when more people are going to start to adapt to it. There's no bitcoin if people don't adapt to it. I think when the time comes that bitcoin becomes so big that different countries will start to ban bitcoin.

Support alone is not enough. Bitcoin is a threat to currently existing economic system. Maybe not right now, because we are rather small community, but in couple of years things can change and not even the highest amount of support will convince lawmakers not to create some hardcore version of BitLicense but  with global range.

Its used quite alot imo and blocksize is full, and forget about bitpay shedding staff, shareholders

The fact that it has more value than dollar does not mean much really. It is all in the names. If we call the 1000 dollar note "one grand", we could say "Grands are better than BTC because they have more value".

However, I hope for Bitcoin to be great too!

it is true , still bitcoin have got only 25% of the earth, and still 75% it have to create awarness, their are still countrys which dont accept bitcoins in any manner. untill it get recognised globally and all transaction are done with bitcoins till then we cannot tell that bitcoin is the global currency of EARTH.

It's only worth $450 because not a lot of people know about it. I think the price of bitcoin could be way higher than it is right now if more people would adapt to it.
Let alone if we have more people who are aware of bitcoin, it would have way more potential.

Comparing bitcoin is close to impossible. It has so many aspects that are making it greater then any other form of trading, that it is humiliating.
We just need the masses to wake.

That is baseless wild speculation. It does not give a time line. I can safely say bitcoin will not be worth more than US dollar in terms of market capitulation in 5 years.

I remember reading stuff like this 5 years ago when bitcoin was worth about a dollar.
