We will be sticking with the current chain , DRZ-V3. What was meant by swaps is that swapping the coins of individual users who did not have a chance to swap their OLD-DRZ for the new. There will be a separate system within the wallet itself for them to perform this.

I'm afraid we are already too late to block any addresses by now , let me see how viable it is and feasible the same.

Most means the current owner could try ready to swap them for DRZv3. 207K is not much compared to the whole amount which was stolen, but is pretty considerable amount... and its mu-u-uch bigger than my whole stash of DRZ . Would be right to prevent them to be swapped and dumped (for example make new hardfork in old DRZv2.4 chain, and introduce a new wallet, which invalidate transactions from those addresses).

Anyway, SoopY, whatever you decide to go with, I am ok with that. Community trusts you and thats the most important part!

i asked C-cex for a copy of that wallet.dat or if they could burn it.
they suggested i talk to dev.

We came to agreement with dev that he will burn coins himself. So he got c-cex wallet.dat from me after I got new coins for balances of my customers.

Those coins are still with the thief, not with CCEX, because CCEX gave the DEV the wallet.dat

Its still on the C-CEX wallet , same wallet address of C-CEX if I m not mistaken but a 3rd part having access to the wallet.dat.  (C-CEX might have a backup of the wallet.dat most of the case , therefore they will be able to do the burn process.)

i have only just come back online from my intermittent appearances due to my personal move - and preparation for the next move in a few weeks time ...

drz3 blockchain is the one that needs to be maintained and secured further - by removing ANY attachment to the old blockchain - and not introducing a new blockchain ...

a rename in my opinion is NOT necessary ... if this is the way that you are intending on doing this soopy - i believe it will be the end and not the beginning ...

the old coins are just that ... if a swap is to be done - i am happy to put my hand up for the security of ALL coins involved ... swap and control then handover ...

in my opinion the biggest problem we are going to have is trying to prevent the stolen coins being converted to new coins. Theres no doubt about it, the theif will try and swap them, as well as the ones that hes already sold. With this ahead of us im not sure we can ever expect a price higher than a few satoshis without it getting dumped back down again

I explained the issue of Frazalel on page 30 of the thread. He was a thief.

He was not really the DEV, but the thread starter. He stole from the DEV.

The DEV has been online recently, but has not visited this thread - I am struggling to get him to come back. Presently, some technical people are making attempts to help us to sort out the mess.

soopy - as was stated earlier ( a lot earlier ) that i have supplied three seednodes to droidz - and will continue to maintain them provide FULL NODE accessibility ...

there will not be a need to raise funds for that unless the droidz community WANTS to donate to these seednodes ... these nodes were added to the original AND the drz3 code ( when i finalized the compile - which did happen but all these issues arose ) ...  same goes with the servers ...

this is why we need to band together and NOT fly off on our own to get things done off the cuff - when they are already in place and STABLE ... with no added cost to the community ...

just talk to me - and we will be able to get ALL these things sorted ... NO ONE wants a repeat of the issues - even though you ARE trustworthy AND a competent developer ...

this time it needs to be done via the TEAM ... which is yet to be set in stone ...

no one knew of these addresses OR the plans until you mentioned them WITHOUT prior discussion ...

this is EXACTLY the same issues we had - and have led to this trouble ...
