Well I am new to Bitcoin (Bought at the $50 mark). Just want to say thanks Lucif! I've followed your predictions and learnt a lot from reading your analysis. I pulled out 48 hours ago and would have probably kept it in Bitcoin if it wasn't for this thread. I have since got a deposit going over to BitStamp and will be buying more coins once it starts to rise again in the $30 range. I hope you'll carry this on!

Thanks again Smiley

And yet you can't ignore that especially now you have an enormous influence.
Lucif has been predicting doomsday from the beginning of his thread. From the freaking beginning of this thread.
What worries me is that now people are going to actually listen to his depressive forecasts, affecting the valuation of the bitcoins even though the market itself is strengthening.

The dangerous part is that most people here can't even realize that this is just freaking apophenia, synchronicity, selective memory and confirmation bias.
The dangerous part is when people actually start giving credibility to this crap.
That's when we are all screwed.
If you're actually worried about this, you aren't cut out for speculative ventures.

Not only are most people on this forum not reading this (excellent) thread, most people who hold bitcoin aren't on this forum.

It may well go below $32, but below $1 is more about fundamentals than TA. I don't buy that (lotsa buyers like myself at that extremely low price). Fair guess is that $32, if hit, will be more or less the bottom. Perhaps for a longer time, but we hold for the longest  Tongue

Effectively, I have nothing else to say.
The amplifying effect of this thread ripples beyond the forum. The worst part is that he is not the only one.
The real problem is that currently the market is utterly inefficient because it is attracting more high schoolers than actual professionals.

Speculation is destroying the currency.
Thank you for unwittingly pointing that out.

Was this thread amplifying things when bitcoin rose from $10 to $266?  Because you mentioned earlier that this thread was predicting doomsday from the start.

The top post on reddit now is about suicide hotline. 1200 up votes so far. Dozens of threads about lost money, potential family break ups etc.
I think the sentiment have been reset as good and thoroughly as it needs to. The 32 price held on all exchanges reaching a bottom of around 40.
That was the hardest, fastest and most brutal ABC correction I have ever seen. I was expecting a more prolonged one like the one from 32, this was something else.
Considering how fast the correction was maybe we won't have to wait around too long for the next leg to start. Can only say wow for the last 48 hours.

The network effect of bitcoin is effectively destroy. I personally helped two people invest in bitcoins but only for a total of $3k. I feel sick.

There will be very little of adoption of bitcoin for the foreseeable future. People have lost their savings, some have accumulated mountains of debt. Businesses holding BTC are at risk of going bankrupt. No one in their right mind will recommend outsiders to buy into bitcoins at the moment.

did your log channel got broken no ?
