Obviously, running your code does not always end up with "segmentation fault", it is only a possibility.
int main() { int array[10]; array[11] = 0; printf("stick with core\n"); }
Oops, I was wrong. Because you put the "array" array on the stack, there are no chances for "segmentation fault". Peter TRoll 'developer' #REKT The array is neither static nor in a function, so its not on the stack. More likely ( dependent on your setup) its pre-allocated in the programs data section. The fact that you dont core any time is down to blind luck. int main() { ... } is not a function? Look again! (gdb) run Starting program: /home/valiz/petertroll
Breakpoint 1, main () at petertroll.c:6 6 array[11] = 0; (gdb) info registers rsp rsp 0x7fffffffe2b0 0x7fffffffe2b0 (gdb) print &array[11] $2 = (int *) 0x7fffffffe2dc (gdb) l 1 #include <stdio.h> 2 3 int main() 4 { 5 int array[10]; 6 array[11] = 0; 7 printf("stick with core\n"); 8 } 9

There would be no war if people weren't selfish and following their own agenda
Well, we agree on something finally. So... when are you lot going to stop DDOSing, Spreading FUD, Lying, Manipulating, and following a whiny & childish scorched earth policy of trying to destroy Bitcoin if you can't control it??Nobody can control bitcoin. Only forkers want to destroy bitcoin... by forking it. The hard fork is going to fail.

I don't see the economic majority trying to do that. At the moment there is no 'majority' as per definition that wants to move the development away from Core.

If miners want to play dictators, going separate ways seems logic. Bitcoin certainly does not need 4 corporate mastodonte ruling over. http://qntra.net/2016/01/recent-bitcoin-direction/Y'all been warned. http://deedbot.org/deed-393913-1.txtTo any miners contemplating deserting Bitcoin in favour of pursuing an USG-sponsored would-be competitor :
1. Bear in mind that the actual Bitcoin chain, with a patch to disable current ASIC miners, will continue to exist, and will continue to be used.
2. Make sure that you obtain ~upfront~ payment sufficient to cover whatever The Most Serene Republic might dump on your alternate chain plus whatever you yourselves need to sell in order to cover your own costs. You will not be able to return after you leave, nor will your capital goods have any further utility in this world.
3. Remember that your pontifical "allies", while very much inclined to promise and posture, have an unbroken track record of not actually delivering upon those promises. In this case, as generally the case with them, they don't even actually have the resources to indemnify you in the first place.
That is all. In other words, sorry for your loss. ^^

Probably the same reason you think a confederation is the same thing as a democracy. IE, you are not very intelligent.
