There is no way that it or any other coin can "disappear".  The coins exist in various wallets.  The value could drop to the point where people let those wallets go, but the coins still do exist.  However, if the price drops to a certain level, then there are always those that are waiting in the wings to buy and buy some more, which will eventually drive the price back up.  The death of Bitcoin would take at least a decade because of this every time the price drops to a low level, increased sales will drive it back up.  The entire process would dip lower and lower until Bitcoin sits at some low price, like $50 per coin and that would most likely be where it would stay.

After few years of obsevartions I am pretty sure, that technical advantages are not as convincing as the high level of adaptation. Any ultra-fast, secure and [enter any feature you like], brand-new altcoin is just a techy tidbit compared to the bitcoin from the common user's point of view.

Media and Governments will play a major role in deciding the future of bitcoins, if both of them come in support of bitcoins, then it will gain attention from the people, and if they don't come in support then people won't entertain bitcoins, and will never support bitcoins, so at this stage it is very difficult to predict that bitcoin will survive or simply disappear in the future.

The chances are extremely low - for this to happen, EVERY bitcoin wallet program would have to disappear. That includes copies on USBs, other storage devices, and offline copies. Then all the websites related to it would have to be deleted. The chance of this happening is extremely low.

If the halving goes as we expect it, there is almost a guarantee that it will be around for the next 15 years, but the next halving or two are kind of the make it or break it stage for Bitcoin. Either it gets a fairly large amount of value, or we see it slowly start to collapse back to obscurity.

The existence of internet is not relying with bitcoin. Note that long time ago, even if there's no bitcoin yet, there's already an internet connection in most countries. There is another interesting possibility though: what if the mining hash rate would suddenly drop a lot? Say because another cryptocurrency comes up and miners move there. Eventually the difficulty should go down, but for that to happen miners first need to find blocks. Assume for some reason 95% of the miners moves somewhere else, blocks would suddenly take 3 hours to be found! Bitcoin would effectively be for a while, but it will come back.

And even if nobody has a backup of blockchain, well, I'm sure hundreds of people would all of a sudden start mining like Satoshi himself did. Starting new blockchains, having a huge collection of bitcoins, and hoping people pick up on your chain again.

No matter what is happening with Bitcoin in the very far future, there will always be enough miners and nodes hosted to keep Bitcoin up and running. Bitcoin is here to stay.

Yeah and bitcoin is existing since last 9 years and it has shown us major improvement over a period of time, even after the big crash in the past it has managed to survive and have reached to descent level once again.

Bitcoin can disappear in future but not very soon as bitcoin is still in its primary stage and it has so many things left to offer to its users and we will witness that in coming years.

no i am not agree with you bitcoin is not going to disappear at any stage, it is becoming more and more stronger as time passes because more and more people are entering in the world of bitcoin and now is becoming an essential part of our life, it is going to replace fiat currency in future and then all the people of the world will be using bitcoin instead of fiat currency.
