Anyone have a guess on when we can actually hold the LISK we bought? Instead of having it sit on someone else's server?

11th April .. and there is not any server :/ the dev team should still create the genesis block !

You can now validate your passphrases on the ICO website. We will post a more detailed guide later this evening.

Please be 100% sure you insert the exact same passphrase as the ICO website gave you!

We also made a few other changes. They will be mentioned in the guide later.

...
If you think that giving plenty of money will motivate people to secure the network, you are already screwed. How could you seriously think that this is not a centralized system?
...

It's works in Eth, Dash, etc. Why isn't work in Lisk? Money is a great motivator. The main question how is it works in details. I don't like the current system. I think it less secure then Dash masternodes or Eth POW or delegates with 1 money 1 vote 1 delegate.
And Crypti doesn't have same revenue and what? The big part of nodes was installed one person.

Presumably the block forger maintains the active delegate list?
What mechanism changes the active delegate list?
The approval. Every round (~17 minutes) Lisk checks the approval rates and re-arranges all delegates automatically.

Thanks for the answers again.  Just a word of advice:  To flourish, Lisk will need to appeal to more than a crypto/developer support base.  It will need also to appeal to lay people from people in the investment and commercial worlds like myself.  I'm asking these questions as I don't know what "Lisk" means?

Hi, guys. Installing DAPPs in testnet web-wallet is not works? Or I do something wrong?
I login, click "DAPP store", click "Lisk Guestbook", click install, input the password for current account and get error: "Incorrect master password".

Dude, we fucking answer this question like every single page.  Anyone have a guess when idiots like you will read a few pages back instead of asking this very question every single page?

OK, I don't post often but I'm gonna here just to say. LMAO.

No need to be mad if someone is asking the same question again and again. New users check this thread everyday and How can they know the
answer is in few pages? Let someone else reply if you dont want to.

I'm not saying I'm the smartest guy in the room, probably closer to the bottom of the list but shit man I can fucking read.

I agree with you, you are definitely at the bottom of the list. Make a favor to yourself: because you know how to read, open a book and get some fucking manners (you see, I am adding words from your vocabulary to allow the communication with your kind).

A 1GB/2GB node is more than enough. Maybe in 5 years we need real powerful servers, but definitely not now. Smiley

32gb ram is not enough, go to 64gb! I need to play real time games on your node!

Thank you for your answer Smiley. What does else matters ? I was thinking about running one on the mining rig I will order soon. I think that a 100% uptime is the minimum, but is the connection speed important (I'm not really good at this point Tongue). And does the node put a big load on the CPU ?

I made an simple excel sheet to calculate your profit of holding list and voting for a note.

This sheet should make it easier to calculate your possible income from voting for a node a getting shared reward according to your Lisk holding and the node is an active delegate.

Example of usage:
I am holding 100.000 Lisks and vote for 101 node, 1 node is getting active delegate. This node is spreading with a dapp the mining profits regarding to your votes.

How much $,btc, lisks a day do I make?
How much % of income do i generate regarding to my Lisks i hold and total Lisk votes for the Node
