I rather have a few months sideways will the infrastructure is being build, than hype to boost the price briefly only to have the FUD return the moment the price starts collapsing again.
Price can only grow when stuff gets delivered, and this takes time.
Delivering is the key here, thanks for pointing this out. The developers are preparing the ground work (specifically to the Lisk core) to code a reliable, secure and scalable version of blockchain applications running on sidechains. The time and effort it takes to create this system is quite a bit as the applied cryptography for the blockchain is complicated. For new users, the best way to get correct information on development updates and progress is through the Lisk Blog. Alternatively, you can always go directly to the open sourced project and take a look at the GitHub releases |

@Calabi–Yau Manifold I see only 2 option for your behavior: -Option1: you want to buy underpriced Lisk-Option2: you are a saint and you invest a lot of time to protect guys from Lisk....  I think you have a big pocket and you want to reduce the Lisk price as much as you can with your sock puppet accounts! This is obvious and ridiculous! Only if it will be serious but after 1 year from ICO I see small chances that something will change. I write here sometimes because Lisk bagholders talking totally BS that Lisk is great, which can be tricky for noobs and new traders. Criticism is very good for Lisk. Don't need to fool people that Lisk is OK because it's very bad, no news, lazy slowly dev, everything is going slowly... Lisk don't have dapps, sdk, sidechains etc., Lisk is only POS shitcoin now (DPOS). ONLY KORDEK CAN CHANGE IT. But I bet he is not right person to develop anything big in crypto.  Best wishes too! |

Some time ago there was a documentation on lisk.io about creating first Javascript dapp for Lisk.
It seems it is gone because I am getting an 404 error. I also could not find it on the new Lisk wiki on Github.
Wasn't it just forwarded to the wiki, was it, or is it outdated?

Lisk is far from dead. Three months ago the team got their ICO funds, which is larger than the LISK market cap.
Next to that, they got a lot of money from a good side investment, byteballs (or something like that).
Next to this, Eth price is exploding. New "blockchain tech" attention from investors could work out fine for Lisk. Not to mention the Polonex Lisk/Eth market..
I think it's wise to own some Lisk, just in case..

Thanks! That explains it. I read through the last blog entries. There seems to be some major changes, such as a rebranding or the SDK. Unfortunately, there are no exact release dates. Is it possible to estimate when the SDK is released? No exact date but for example Q3 2017 or similar would be fine. |
