I use blockchain.info to store them and I use paper wallets for longer term. I do try some other wallets at times but I dont feel a need to use them since I like blockchain.info If I had many bitcoins then I would only trust a full qt wallet with serious amounts like that. For quick transactions online ones are far and you can't walk around running a full wallet on your phone xP

Blockchain.info should be secure enough for most people since you are in control of your own private keys, as opposed to coinbase and other online bitcoin wallet providers, which do not allow you access to the private keys.

This completely eliminates the risk of fractional reserve.

However if you have a really big amount, offline storage is still favourable as block chain.info is still operated online.

I haven't store any bitcoin yet but I am playing at bitcoin games on my phone and earn satoshis, so that soon I will be saving it on my wallet if it reached big amount. Having a good idea about saving bitcoin is really awesome specially for a newbie like me who is very aggressive to learn on how to earn bitcoin.

I stored my bitcoins to my web wallet because i'm just comfortable for storing it online and i just downloaded their application so i will easily get in touch with my bitcoins when i'm using my cellphone. I don't store so much bitcoin because i convert it into fiat regularly because i can't deal with the volatile price, So i just keep a small part of my money in bitcoin and then use the majority as a fiat or real money.

yes i am also using the same method. i have multiple bitcoin wallets which i am using for different purposes, i use one bitcoin wallet for trading purpose, where i store the money that i mostly use for trading. while the other wallet i use for signature campaign and for other purposes to store or use bitcoins from that wallet, i think there are some people who are even using different online bitcoin wallet for security reasons, as they have good amount of bitcoin which they distribute in different wallets.

That's obviously not the smartest thing you could do, but you chose for that, so that's purely on you. However, I hope that the online wallet service you use supplies you with the private keys. If the online wallet service for whatever reason is down, then you at least can gain direct access to your coins. It's an extra bit of security for yourself. If you don't have the private keys, and the service in question stays down for a while, it means you can't access your coins.

I used to store my bitcoins in my paper wallet because it is a safe place for me because i don't need to worry about being hacked or being stolen of my bitcoins online because it is offline and all i need is the barcode of the paper wallet and after that i can send bitcoins as much as i can but i also have a bitcoin wallet app to store my regular bitcoins for spending it online.

You must be careful when storing bitcoin, in a paper wallet as if torn, I'm not sure it can still be used. in fact very difficult to hack bitcoin network. you just need to be careful with your email. I prefer to use the online wallet, because the amount of bitcoin I had not too much.

to me i personally using double wallets one is from blockchain.info and second is yobit.net. one is fo my personal use to spend bitcoin and the second is for trading and investment purposes.
I think yobit not the wallet but if you use it only for trading activities was not a problem but you have kept on standby for a third party no one is safe on the internet

Bitcoin wallet to store bitcoin such as Coinbase blockchain.info , xapo and others. Yobit is mostly a exchanger site. So perhaps more accurately when you put money in yobit actually you have deposited your money to trade, not really means you store on it . A website exchanger is not suitable for storing Bitcoin in the long term

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I will prefer to myself to store my bitcoin only in the online storage I mean wallets like blockchain ( and only blockchain ) Because if we store bitcoin in offline storage then it may be possible that I face some problem with my computer and loss some thing in better amount .
So I will only store in the blockchain wallet And also will make up the backup of the wallet so that if any big problem came in the future with my email id then easily I can access my account .

I guess, I save the good bitcoin is on Coinbase. Well, Coinbase provide good service, and it's also very easy to understand. I also use blockchain, because the two are almost the same wallet. well, I use it for, and a different storage.

It would still be very correct to have two purses. One for the storage of personal bitcoins, and the second for carrying out the operation to transfer bitcoin. Recently, there have been a lot of bitcoin hunters searching for the slightest user errors or even breaking passwords. Therefore, I think this way will be safe.

I'm same as you, store in bitcoin wallet in my country. I store in vip.bitcoin. I prefer an online wallet like that because as long as I use no problem, and I think the security is very good. In addition to converting into currency also easy and fast, there are many good features. They also have two branch office that are still in operation, so it makes me more confident to store bitcoin.
