I store my bitcoins in a web wallet. I never had problems with etim. I am sure that they are safe and nobody will steal them.
Well I have never had an issue like that with the web wallets but to be safe I'd suggest you go for cold storage and try keeping your private Yeah I don't think you can say nobody will steal them but I would definitely say that you aren't running to much of a risk if you go with well known wallets like coinbase. You should'nt use an online wallet if you have a huge sum of money in BTC though. I would recommend a wallet you can download for extra protection.

Hello everyone as the title says ^ Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I store bitcoin in online wallet as Coinbase and also on trading sites such as poloniex about safety I just use a strong password and 2FA that is proven safe and also more careful if get an email on behalf of the wallet that I wear maybe it was a phishing.

There is a risk when you are using popular wallets like coinbase because that is what hackers targets, the popular and the most crowded sites or online wallets because there is always big money in there. If you want to be secure, it is great to buy a hardware wallet and forget putting a lot of money in online wallets because that is like a gambling where you are risking your money without assurance that it is safe.

Well since coinbase still alive it still good to save your bitcoin in coinbase but not for too long.. i experience many problem with coinbase before.. the good part there you can sign a message but you can not backup your wallet unlike desktop wallets.. like electrum.. the bad part in coinbase you can not use it in gambling because possibility that you can be suspended..

I spread mine out between offline paper wallets, my Android wallet, my PC wallet, and a couple online wallets. There is a trade-off between security and convenience. Paper wallets are the most secure, but to do anything with them, you have to sweep the wallet, wait for confirmation, etc. By spreading out your holdings, you protect your holdings by reducing your exposure to any one wallet being compromised. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way.

I store most of my coins in online wallets and exchanges. I know that it's not safe and have to store in some offline wallets but I am not a long term Bitcoin holder. I sell and buy as per the market and hold very less Bitcoins.

Hello everyone as the title says ^ Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
Actually I store my bitcoin in my wallet of blockchain and mysellium address only because I never feel that I can store my bitcoin safely in the paper wallet or another third party Wallet , Because I have only trust with the blockchain wallet which is official . Well here I am using 5to 6 address to store in bulk and also made my backup in this way my all the bitcoin remain safe and I can store it without worrying my funds in the online wallet .

I recommend downloading a bitcoin wallet in your phone because wherever you are you can use your bitcoin.., Example when buying a item or food you can use your bitcoin in your wallet using your phone .. Wallet in phone are safe of course you can put password for security purposes in your bitcoins.. Better use a wallet in your phone just pick a trusted application wallet in your phone defend n what country you are and what type of phone you are using..

I always use online wallets. Ease of use and you don't need the whole blockchain downloaded and updated copy continuesly untill you can make a transaction.

Online wallets are risky as you have a fear of loosing your bitcoins so the best choice would be to store your bitcoins in offline wallet and for that I think electrum wallet is the best as it has great safety features and won't be possible for anyone to hack your coins.

Not all offline wallet are safe but you can save it high amount of bitcoin there. I use online wallet And I thimk it safe like blockchain and coinbase and even my country's wallet . I like online wallet because you can easily learned how to use it. ONLINE WALLET update so you can use many features and they have always authentication or code that send to your gmail yo be secure and other wallet have vault like coinbase .

I prefer offline wallets because they are the most secure. As long as you protect you private key and know your wallet address, your Bitcoins can be stored completely safely.

Electrum is nothing special since it offers features that can be found in other desktop clients as well. Only thing I like about Electrum (that can't be found in many other desktop clients) is that it supports hardware wallets, and that's something I am greatly supporting. If you want to minimize your risk to the lowest possible form, then you'll be needing to use a hardware wallet. But even then, there aren't any guarantees that your coins are 100% safe. If you want your coins to be 100% safe from hackers or any other threats coming from the internet, you'll need to store your private keys offline, and keep them offline.
