I do not store them at single place and prefer to store them at multiple places and multiple wallets, at a moment I have divided my bitcoins online wallet, offline wallet, some of them are on exchange sites too.

It depends on how you use Bitcoin. If we're purely talking about coins that are bought as long term investment, then offline storage is the only way to go. If you are using Bitcoin regularly for spending purposes, then making use of an online wallet will enhance the usability aspect. I often see people refer to their physical fiat wallet when it comes to keeping coins in online wallet services, and I agree with that -- never keep more coins online than you have in your physical fiat wallet. Wink
I prefer the online wallets for storing bitcoin, because not only it is much more secure because coins are stored on secured dedicated server and not on a pc that is used for every day usage and infected with malwares, but also, I don’t have to worry so much about fees, because the wallet usually is the one that takes care of it, but the offline wallet you have to specify the fees yourself when sending.

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
Trading accounts, and offline wallets are very good options.

I think one of the best way to store bitcoins is paper wallet.
Anyway, i am using online wallets but to be honest i am little scared using them.

I, too, do not really trust Internet purses because of the possibility of hacking them, but it is very convenient for making payments.
using online wallet is good for small storage and for those who often use their bitcoins, receive and send to others, but for large amount of bitcoins never use any online wallet, always prefer ledger or paper wallet, they are very safe.

That's acceptable, it is for your convenience anyway but the moment you will grow your bitcoins, make sure you will diversify it to maintain safety.
If you have read some hacking incident in exchange sites in the past, it  might change your mind keeping your bitcoin in exchanges only.

I store my bitcoin in my local computer using electrum.  I use it because it is easy and does not need to download the full blockchain.  It has also an automatic transaction fee adjustment where you can set it according to how fast you want your bitcoin transaction to be confirmed.

We should pretty concerned when we're talking about to store our Bitcoin. Store our Bitcoin in exchange site, then there were a couple of reason coming in the front. We can't believe any thus of exchange site anymore, it's completely full of risk, possibility to hack anytime. After noticing that we should turn into other methods. Like others I've been looking into the best ways to store Bitcoins and that's methods of cold storage.
Many people will prefer to store in BTC exchange site because it is easy to sell and buy coins. if we keep it in cold storage or offline or any other method it is a bit tough to do trading. I also prefer BTC exchanger site to store my coins. It is not safe, but I will not keep more coins, so I don't care for hacking and other things.

Its risk to store your bitcoins at a single place and that also on exchange sites as few sites got hacked in the past and that made people to loose all their bitcoins so its good to keep only small amount there and rest should be saved in offline wallet.

I was already given advice to keep my Bitcoin in several purses while one should be on a personal table or a flash drive. One purse to use for storage from another for financial transactions.

That's a good decision as your bitcoins will be really safe in hardware wallet and it will become impossible for an hacker to steal your bitcoins and as of now electrum is the best wallet to store our bitcoins.

I try to store Bitcoin wherever I can because I don't like to have everything in one place. There's nice Bitcoin software's that are out in the Internet and they have fancy designs with feature cool things. I am not into any of that, I just use a regular Bitcoin software that contains a Bitcoin address then send Bitcoin to that address. Encrypting the wallet with a password is one of the must do's when storing something for a very long-time and it's easy to overlook -I recommend that you guys begin to do that.

And I once made the mistake of giving a password to one site, and now I'm worried about who can have passwords other than me yet.

Hello everyone as the title says ^

I store all of my bitcoins in my online wallet because i believe that my online wallet that i use is 100% trusted unlike some online wallet that they are scam and that is very dangerous because all of your hard works in earning bitcoin will be gone in a second.
