i am storing my bitcoins in paper wallet. i think blockchain.info web wallet is not safe. you must move ur coin public internet. you can lost.
For me it's going to be a case to case basis, now that I only have a small amount of bitcoins I just prefer to store it in online excahange or online wallet and I make sure they have a good reputation to safeguard my assets. It came into my mind that if I save it offline and if there is something happen to my computer I might not be able to access it. Maybe I will just reevaluate my way as soon as I have more to safeguard.

I think it is quite risky to store the coins online even if there is small amount.
Yeah it is very risky to store our coins online because they are always vulnerable for the hackers who can bypass and steal our coins so it is best to find a good and safe wallet like hardware wallets which we can store our coins for long term and have no worries about the possible hacker attacks.

I just store bitcoin in the exchanger. Because I think, bitcoin I have is still a little, so I use to trade. And there is a slight advantage from storing it there.
Yeah I also keep my bitcoin in exchange. Because I only have a bit bit of bitcoin just less than 0.1 btc. So I keep it in exchange. Because it's simpler when you want to sell your bitcoin.

I think it would be pretty safe if you saved your bitcoin in the wallet online. Unless you keep it in exchange. Because it is very easy to hack and let alone the site may be a scam

I think even if you get a simple thing from exchange still the security on exchange will be less than the wallet. You can not use authentication, or no private key / backup, there's nothing you can do when your bitcoin succeeds in stealing from exchange

I store my Bitcoins in a cold paper wallet locked away inside of a hard, steel safe dug 10 feet underneath a hidden spot in my backyard.  Tongue

I store my bitcoins on 2 different wallets which is blockchain and our local wallet which is coins.ph. I use blockchain because it has a fast transaction and yet it is trusted while our local wallet coins.ph has many services and you could convert your bitcoins anytime.

Yeah I think you should be careful when you try to save your bitcoin in exchange. Because the account in exchange is very vulnrable to the hack. In the absence of a second security. Such as authy hackers will easily enter. So be careful saving the bitcoin in exchange

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I store my bitcoins in my Electrum wallet in my computer. Its safe and i have not encountered even a single problem till now while using it.A 13 word seed is generated for our password and it could be used to recover our account if our laptop gets damaged.

Storing Bitcoins on a computer could be a pretty tough task if the person that is trying to store the money does not know how to properly store Bitcoin. Learning new methods of storing Bitcoin is pretty smart because who knows when someone might need that information.

I like to store my coins on Bitcoin Exchanges because it allows me to spend Bitcoin wherever I am. If I store my Bitcoins on the computer then I would try to use MultiBit or Bitcoin Core.

Saving in exchanger, same with me. Will make bitcoin that I have can use to earn profit .. However, when I off from trade. I will save it in wallet coinbase.

I also store bitcoin in online wallets, I think it's safe, because many online wallet services provide good level of security, though many online wallet providers, you have to choose really safe ones, in addition, if you Save your bitcoin using your wallet You are online You can get more free to use, you can anytime transact, buy goods anytime and anywhere, ...But you still have to check its security, like changing passwords and other security verification, to make sure you will not lose anything.

I am not much different from you, probably because of my limitations on understanding cold wallets and level of complexity needed for syncing, so far i'm inclined to move it into my bank account or move it to gambling/exchanger wallet.

I use paper wallets for about 80%, 10% on exchanges, and 10% in a Blockchain wallet.

You have made great decision since online wallet still more riskier compare paper wallet.
Just make sure that you're not access on public place such as internet cafe because nobody knows that keyboard was being install key logger or something tricky to stole your password

I think it's not risky if you keep it in the wallet online. For 5 years I use bitcoin. I have never been cheated by my wallet or bitcoin stolen by someone from my wallet. Because I'm using authentication

Electrum is best one among desktop wallets out there, and It is faster transaction than other wallets. It is working faster in small network connection; also, even I would suggest to everyone to use electrum. That's what I normally use for my hot wallets.

I store my bitcoins on my desktop and on mobile i dont keep my btc in one wallet only. What i do is  divide my btc into 4 different wallets, so if one of my wallet was.hacked i still have 3.

I wouldn't say what actually i use but the old school is the best... Smiley
I think lots of ppl in this thread doesn't undertand risk that they are taking saying exactly what wallet they use... Isn't it stupid to voluntarily share so valuable info with criminals? That's just above me.
