How do you store your bitcoins?

I use paper wallets for about 80%, 10% on exchanges, and 10% in a Blockchain wallet.

That is good, For me i divided my bitcoin in differents web wallets. I usually avoid the risk to divide my bitcoin. Maybe some day one wallet be hacked or anything bad could happen. I use blockchain and xapo as my two primary wallets.

I have stored my bitcoins in multibit wallet and electrum wallet as its always good to diversify your bitcoins in different wallets to avoid risk of loosing to the hands of scammers and whenever I have to sell my bitcoins I transfer that amount to my localbitcoins wallet from where I can sell bitcoins and get fiat money in my bank account.

Electrum is the best place to store your bitcoins as its very safe and have great security measures as I am using electrum since very long time and I have never faced any issue with its safety as I have never lost even a penny from it so I have stored all my bitcoins only in electrum wallet.

I prefer to store my bitcoins in different exchange sites, that way I can easily cash out every time I need money.
Also, I diversified my bitcoin into alts because with limited capital it would give me a good return.

I think exchange wallets is not good suggestion. try storing it on online wallets such as coinbase and blockchain.io instead of some exchange because still even if they are big exchanges, it can be hacked as before, I know some exchanges had been hacked. So dont store your coins on an exchange in a long term.

Even either of those two are risky because it is still online and in coinbase you cannot have your private key and also in blockchain it is risky because of its attractive high amount of users and it has a hacked history before where thousands of bitcoin is stolen so it is best to just download desktop wallet and put there your bitcoins and do not trust online sits like web wallet and also online exchange.

In exchange wallet, we do not have a control of our wallet since we don't own our private keys. But we are still using it because of flexibility and ease of use. It is better to used the wallet like the electrum, at least you have the control of your wallet and at the same time it is not heavy to download.

One day, when exchange wallets turn into a scammer, dont cry or even regret because you have made a wrong decision from the beginning and you can not blame anyone for your mistake. Our money is our money and we have to keep them in our own hand, not by any third party wallet

great example, keep it in multiple wallet but make sure that its safe and note your password so that even you forget it you can open it. right now i used blockchain.info and coins.ph as my wallet

Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

I store my bitcoins in my Electrum wallet in my computer.Its safe and i have not encountered even a single problem till now while using it.A 13 word seed is generated for our password and it could be used to recover our account if our laptop gets damaged.

Hmm, this is all also depends on your internal problems. If you have a good enough security in your computer then chances are small to get problems when saving bitcoin therein. And vice versa, it is indeed all the time and when we can understand and comprehend all the things then profits will inevitably we get. indeed to be able to benefit, we should be able to understand and comprehend all things in existence. because information technology is very high risk if done in a way that carelessly

I dont have that much, so i just store them on Exhange websites, like Bitstamp or Kraken. I also have MultiBit HD as a desktop walllet.

Nice. You should try electrum because it is a great wallet. And if you have money, you should also buy 1 hardware wallet for yourself. Hardware wallets are very cool and you can bring your Bitcoin anywhere you want without being scared about losing it

but it is not advisable to keep your btc in an exchange cause anytime it may get hacked and instead of keeping and storing your bitcoin, you may lose it all right? unless you only store it for trading then withdraw it when you already have your profit.

I'm just using online wallet so that I can get it as I need it wether in investment or gambling. I don't consider cold wallet/hardware wallet since I can't just store bitcoins just to keep its value increase for a long time.

I keep a little in an online wallet (minimal in an exchange) and most in an offline paper wallet (with BIP38 encryption)
