I think fiat and other currencies are used for illegal activities as well and not only Bitcoin
So that's not a negative feature of Bitcoin in my opinion
Fiat is being used thousands of times more for illegal stuff than Bitcoin, but as always, the media is only pointing at Bitcoin when it comes to bad things. It's a shame. Exactly, you nailed it dude, it's not only the media related to governments that focus to accuse Bitcoin with such wrong accusations, but also the Bitcoin's haters worldwide, unluckily. |

If something is not used for illegal activities then that's not real money. Im not saying we should be happy to see Bitcoin gets used for illegal activity, but every serious form of money ends up getting used for that too, there's just no scape from that, you have to deal with it and try to a build a better world without destroy people's privacy at the same time. Bitcoin is used for a much wider range of activities, including online shopping, investment opportunities, business, etc. it's mainly the desperate ones that stoop so slow.

No, if you dont believe search deep web transactions..bitcoin was used on the illegal transaction on that site like buying of guns ,drugs or any materials ,hiring of killers anything that is illegal well i thinknyou don't that site .but for you to become safe don't try to browse it anyway . |

Of course it's obviously used because bitcoin is money. But to the point that bitcoin is the only used it's a wrong one. As long as there is money involved, all source will be used for illegal activities such as gold, oil or even salt in the ancient times. |

Yup. That's because the whole world uses fiat, and just a handful of people use BTC. So, while most IRL BRC use is criminal, almost no one uses it, so your claim holds true. OTOH, while more people die from choking than from exploding hand grenades (in US), choking hazard snacks are not regulated (in US), while hand grenades are. You wanna hazard a guess as to why that is? |
