Exactly. Criminals are easy in accepting Bitcoin, it gives them anonimity and good opportunity for money laundering. There are also some informations that Bitcon is used for financing terrorist activities, but still all this doesn't make Bitcoin a "criminal currency". |

yeah, to be honest fiat is more often used for illegal stuff than bitcoins is if you check all the statistics in my opinion it is used and will be used for doing illegal activities and we can not escape it |

People said about gold as well being used for illegal activities like drug smuggling and so on but since gold is a legal commodity, such articles are ignored while bitcoins only suffer as they are not regulated by the Government. Till the Government doesn't find a solution to this, we shouldn't lose hope and continue promoting bitcoins on our blogs or on other forums. |

of course bitcoin itself is not an illegal thing, if you use it to buy illegal stuff then is it an illegal use of it in my opinion even though there are crimes done with bitcoin, fiat is way more worse than bitcoin |

most of the people has the opinion that bitcoin is the one meant for criminals.. this is because of its anonymity and untraceability.. bitcoin has strict terms and conditions policy that prohibits using its service for illegal activities...

As long is money, anyone can use it for whatever activities.
|
A scam will be a scam.
It won't sustain in long run, cause they can't make $ for you at all, they don't have any business model or investment plans to make money grows.
All they did is use other people's $ to pay other users, so those who earned $ is just from other victims... in short a vicious cycle.
People KNEW, but they just dump their $ in hoping for a miracle.
Maybe I have to give another example for people who can't understand.
It's like- Going down to dirty sewers looking for fresh air.

Everything can be used for illegal transactions. Probably USD in the form of cash is still the most used tool for illegal activities. I guess EUR is the second.
I am talking about it here for a long time. I really like that smbd thining like me  Criminals don't care what to use bitcoin or dollars only profit make sens. well im pretty sure they do care as bitcoin is pretty much untraceable and no one can find out who bought something illegal besides that in my opinion bitcoin is used for doing illegal stuff really often though i guess that pushes the price a little bit At least with the bitcoin we can trace where the money origins and where it goes. But with the gold or fiats you never can come to trace any single footage of it. I do not find any new support from bitcoin to the criminals. |

It's not impossible to trace but it's definitely harder than asking for a ransom in marked bills in a briefcase for example. Also the crooks can be anywhere in the world and still can commit extortion without leaving their house.

Yeah it sure is being used for illegal activities. That is because you can make use of anonymously so no one can come behind your personal information.
This is a good thing but you know people are going to use it for bad things when they see you can not be tracked.

Bitcoin is perfect for use in ransoms and I'm sure it will be used/requested as ransom more often in the future but I think cash is still very good for criminals for most other things. Two drug dealers meet in secret and exchange cash for product and there's no way to know the deal ever happened without some other intel. In fact certain govs are thinking about getting rid of high denomination notes because they're frequently used by criminals to transport funds. |

In the traditional system like Banks, the problems like hacks are swept under the rug.
Common person will never learn that his funds were hacked, because Bank simply prints more money and pretends nothing happened.
For this reason police never solves these crimes, because nobody ever reports them. The people are deceived that nothing had happened.
This makes the police and other actors to think that standard organisations like Banks are very secure because hacks "never happen".
Of course both law enforcement and people are deceived in this way for decades now.
