We now have 100 bit and 200 bit fee options for withdrawals What's the approximate wait time for withdrawals for the 200 bit fee options vs the 100 bit fee option? And will the fees necessary to be considered as high priority by the miners continue to rise?

We now have 100 bit and 200 bit fee options for withdrawals Is that the total fee or fee rate per KB? Let's say if someone makes a 10 btc withdrawal that uses a lot of inputs and hence has a huge tx size, is the tx fee still set at 100 / 200 bits?

I think it should be fairly obvious that it is total withdrawal, just as it has always been. The user has no control over the makeup of the size of the transaction. Plus even 100 bits per kB would be much higher then the current rate needed for a fast confirmation

My experience on another site is that the site will charge me 200 bit always, and the tx fee will always be 200 bits per KB. If my transaction size is small, the site will charge more fee than the actual fee used, and vice versa. I have not made a transaction this week yet, so I have no info of confirmation time at different fee rate. But from the data on https://bitcoinfees.github.io/, 100 bits (=10k satoshi) per KB doesn't seem enough for a fast (within 1 or 2 blocks for example) confirmation, as the red line (for 6 blocks) has been above the 10k satoshi mark most of the time last week.

It's a flat-rate fee, so it's either 100 or 200 bits regardless of tx size (as you have no control over that part). At most, MP breaks even. Otherwise MP just pays more for tx than you're being charged, .

One option that could help is just having a base fee of 200 bits with the option for players to go up (if they choose) to 1000 bits if they want faster confirms.

This would be the most ideal solution even for the long term, I dont see how hard it is to implement it till 1000 bits since MP has made it to 200 bits. Besides that the miners fee is paid from our own pocket so there is no harm for MP to implement this. We wouldnt know how the traffic of transactions gonna be someday if it is still at 1mb/block max

Is there a reason why sometimes it takes a minute to connect to moneypot?

I just like to comment on this, as the responsible person for all of mp's technical development. Bitcoin-qt's json-rpc does not allow you to set a custom fix tx fee per transaction(unless you build the raw tx yourself) The only way this can be achieved is by using settxfee option before sending each transaction. And this option sets a fee per/kb. Normal transactions are below 1 kb. For the instance that the transaction is above 1 kb, the additional fee are currently handled by mp, and you will still only be charged either 100bits or 200bits depending on your choice. For example, the transaction size is 2kb. You chose 200bits. The tx will be sent with a fee of 400bits, but you will only be charged 200bits, the rest are handled by mp. And this is how it always have been. One example is this https://blockchain.info/tx/66bd07f598f7bfeb4d8a37ac6349d8a7d53041ee7bc52ed146fee53d23aac9b6, User chose 100bits as fee, and the tx is higher than 1kb. The user gets charged for 100bits and the rest is handled by mp. This is also the reason why for now, we cannot allow users to set their own fee. We also don't want users to accidentally typing 1 btc fee. There have been talks on changing how this works, but for now, if you want your tx to confirm faster, choose 200bits. PS. if my assumption regarding setting fee on bitcoin-qt is wrong, and you know how to do it, please do correct me and let us know how. It would be a great help. -uni

I see that we can now create deposit addresses for Rubies and have a balance on our MP account. Well done. Looks like the next step is to allow users to bet with Rubies on all the MP apps.

Great find! As of yet, RBIES is still being integrated, so deposits, withdrawals, and generation of addresses in general are not enabled at this time. That said, it's in the works and you will see changes occur while it's being brought to fruition!

ONLY if there is some huge marketing done behind this integration. Then the apps themselves will have to start integrating RBIES betting on their apps. Then there should be some kind of promotions running to get new users on the MP apps to try out RBIES betting, and finally, there needs to be some sort of exclusive event that is only available for RBIES users. Whether that's done in the forums here, or on MoneyPot.com, it needs to be done in order to raise the demand and value of RBIES. I will say that I loved picking up RBIES at sub-2k sats in the past day though

Just one small question, will there be investment feature for rubies as well?It will be great if we can invest our rubies in the pool and besides that, it will be great to prevent dump. This way it could help to raise the price, the hype will be coming soon if there is an investment feature for rubies

Yes, tho the priority for now, it have it working on the sites as well as the apps. But eventually, any/all coins added or will be added will have the investment feature and will work just like Bitcoins.
