Anyone want to order me a pizza for 10,000 satoshi?
Amazingly, that's only about a factor of 100 away from being realistic.

10,000 uBTC (10,000 micro-bitcoins or "Mikes") is $25, which is nearly a pizza-ordering price.

Somehow we forgot to celebrate by ordering a pizza for 10,000 mBTC (10,000 Millies) when that was still realistic.

we'll catch up on the anniversary date - May 22nd as every year since 2011
no matter what exchange rate, just pizza for bitcoins and tribute to Laszlo's first real world tx for bitcoins
this might be the nail that holds the hoof or what's the proper english idiom for such events Wink
the pizza is priceless, seed of confidence that bitcoins are worth anything after all

and by the way i own some coins from that transaction Wink with proof in the blockchain

That's still a silly offer - but who knows for how long?

With Gavin's <5430 satoshi "dust-rule", we might not even be able to send 10k satoshi soon enough.

Wouldn't it be marvelous if, when we were born, we would come preloaded with Hindsight 2.0.

Where the fucks the fun in that?

He's Laszlo Henyecz of Jacksonville, Fla, and he is a legend here in Bitcoinia. Thanks for all the memories - and the pizzas!

This is now the second time I've read the full thread (I doubt it'll be the last) and it's still awesome. laszlo was certainly a pioneer of this currency and we probably wouldn't be where we are today without him.
