Price update: $49,900 per pizza.

I just read this thread for the first time, it's great to read stories from the past like this.

Bitcoin mining motto

"does it worth it"

cracks me up every time ... if nothing else the amount of laughter from the crazy situations and reactions by people thrown up by bitcoin has improved my health (extended my life maybe?)

I just came across this thread once again, and it made me reflect upon my recent sale at $2.80 and feel not so bad about that.

Thanks laszlo, wherever you are. Smiley

We have no idea whether that pizza was the nail in the horseshoe that didn't go missing.

Maybe if we went back in time and saved those purchases, BTC wld have peaked and fizzled already.

You buy what you gotta buy when you gotta buy it. It's no use hanging on to something thinking it's going to go up forever.

Luv this pic .... symbolic hand of humanity reaching for bitcoin? (This is the actual 10,000 BTC pizza I assume since laszlo has linked to it.)

nope, you're still looking at 30$ pizzas.
try to look at it from the 2010 May point of view
there was virtually no way of spending bitcoins
and this was great deal back then.
what-if will not work. maybe without such deals the coins would not spread among people and it could still be .005 cent for bitcoin

I want to confess my own little "pizza for a million" moment. Back in late march 2010, I traded well over a thousand bitcoins through New Liberty Standard for about six dollars in my PayPal account. Five of which I then used to purchase Second Life money.

It's going to be awesome for that kid to be able to show off a photo with 5 gold tons worth of pizza.

If for nothing, lets all dump everything into bitcoin, so we could laugh at Lazlo's 1 million dollar pizza.
