You are right with it and this is the industry that has a lot of risk so instead of lending just invest your bitcoins or other coins into trading and other ways that is going to be profitable to you. And this is one of the hardest way of earning because you need to earn the trust of the people also in able to have result on this type of business.

Investing is the key to success here as there are many investment sites that we can use our bitcoins, and even holding our bitcoin we are already doing investment. Maybe he is afraid that he might be tempted that he will not be able to repay his loan due to lack of control in the lending operation, even if you get a loan easily but you cannot consider it as a free as that is a sin not to repay loans and just take the money of others illegally.

Most people who requests for the loan actually attempt to use in those aspects you mentioned just to make quick profit for which they are not sure of making. It is highly risky to take loan and just venture into gambling with. Better if you are taking loan use it for guaranteed investment with higher returns in order not to put yorself into financial trouble that can make your life very uncomfortable.

Then why you are wearing a gambling related campaign and promoting it to get payment? it is also a sin and haram for you. if you really a follower of your Religion's laws then follow them properly. gambling and betting is also haram. so don't do gambling and don't support gambling any way.

As said many times, the risk if you are a borrower is manageable but if you are a lender you have all the risk that you might not be paid with your client, lending business is not good online.

If there will not be an escrow then I think the better way is to have valid id's shown also if the loaner or borrower just wont mind. There have been a lot of scams with this things. Maybe that could minimize this from happening over and over again.
