Price keeps going down, no news from Binance.

The vote was completed on binance. It's a matter of time they integrate it.

And best of all it looks like the XRB graph has formed a nice double bottom and it looks poised to make another run up (which is crazy). Hard to believe this was my best and worst trade at the same time but oh well live and learn. To the you know what Wink

when i run the new wallet it says : "error deserializing config" <<< how to fix this? thanks

Hey guys I have this too when I installed the new version now. Is there something wrong? All I HAVE RIGHT NOW IS MY PRIVATE KEY ONLY FROM THE OLD MRAI. PLEASE HELP ME RECOVER THOSE MRAI. EVEN IF ITS UNCONFIRMED I want to know whether I will be able to recover the OLD MRAI or NOT. Thanks please asking for assistance.

Close your wallet and rename config.json in %LOCALAPPDATA%\RaiBlocks to config_old.json and then try to open your wallet again.
%LOCALAPPDATA% is probably something like: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local depening on your OS.

New to RaiBlocks, started scanning whitepaper, noticed this in the Abstract:

Quote
To date, the RaiBlocks network has processed 4.2 million transactions with an unpruned ledger size of only 1.7GB.

1.7GB = 1825361101 byte / 4.2m transactions = 434.8 byte per transaction. As per https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ median BTC tx is 226 byte.

So how is it "only 1.7GB" if average XRB tx was almost twice the size of BTC tx?

On those 4.2 million transactions given, the average trasferred units in every transactions is in MRai = XRB. So basically, every transactions contains millions of Rai which is not very comparable to btc's tx.

How are transferred amounts relevant in any way?

Whitepaper's abstract creates narrative as if XRB was superior to BTC in terms of blockchain size and its efficiency, while simple math shows it's the other way around and 1.7GB for 4.2m txs is rather poor result.

Unless there's something I'm missing, or maybe they've just messed up their numbers.

We're all waiting for Binance announcement now  Lips sealed

The addition by Binance or Bitfinex soon or Poloniex will definietly push the price up further as new users will begin to take notice of Raiblocks superior tech.

Your median is minimum size of single transaction without any, not database

If we compare full database with all additional information
Blockchain size yesterday 150,300 MB. Total BTC transactions 289,289,113. Average size 544 bytes
XRB ledger size (may vary) 1,367,089,152 bytes, 4,911,009 blocks. Avg 278 bytes

If compare simple tx size
Bitcoin: 1 input, 2 outputs = 225 bytes
XRB: send transaction 152 bytes

why people trusting the devs, they scammed many captcha workers by pulling a disappearing act, where he went MIA for months, nor I got any compensation to the damage they done, they never gave any bonuses to the people who worked there asses off just so we can sell it cheap due to their disappearance.  I had believed in this project long ago and when he left for months without saying anything I decided to sell because i thought it was a dead project,  I think i sold my rai to his friends who were hoarding at that time, this dev should be on scammers watch list.

he could had been responsible and let us know he is coming back in months, yes because I was a capcha miner.  Yea he gave his life to this, he should have the mannerism to let people know, takes a few minutes to post an update.  If you think people dont matter then you def do not need to develop a coin that people were backing
