I think the chinese will lead the rise, they have to as I have said before they are facing a -50% in profits. so my theory is they will try pump it massive and set off a fomo hype, then after the halving price will crash like foook

If the price does not go higher a lot before the halving, it will go higher, otherwise, it will stay at the same level.

It is somewhat profitable because with the halving the price is going to drop which is going to allow the Bitcoins users to buy more coins then before. They can later on sell there coins again for a profit which is profitable.

yeah i hope prices can be stabilized at $500 if there is a dump. but I'm sure when approaching halving it would be $550-600. and after halving I still think what will happen, it could happen dump or no increase.

If you are a trader, is pretty simple to make some money during the bitcoin pumps. when you see a break, go long on bitcoin and short altcoins. Easy money.
As a holder, well, like @bamboylee said, high demand and low supply. just buy a few and hold, we will probably see bitcoin over 800$ in next months.

Halving is always making to you profit before and until now it give the best profit.. because our supply is always halving every 3 years..

Yes halving is the best chance to those bitcoin traders because as of now the bitcoin price is $520+ and there is possibility after halving that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket up to $1200 like the month of november 2013. If i have a lot of money i will choose to buy bitcoin as much as i can because it is one of the easiest way to double your money.

The price rose 10 times in the 6 months after the halving. But the price might not rise as much this time.

i am almost sure that price will rise, before and after halving, to 1000$, so of course that for some people it will be profitable, i don't think that miners will be very happy of that though

We.already seen that move before. And everytime the market.price falls.after that,  there will be a consolidation and the market will recover and move even higher than it was previously. So, there is no worry about that. Let the chinese manipulate the price and let us ride and benefit from it.

Yup I second this. I am expecting that a lot of smaller-scale Bitcoin miners will just give up and leave the mining scene after the halving hits and this will ultimately bring the difficulty down due to fewer bigger-scale miners remaining and if the price really increases by a nice percentage this would probably make for an equal or nearly similar profitability like before the halving has commenced. The price is at $560 today. So this is like a 25% increase pre-halving. I think we are getting there guys and we still have a lot of time
