Guys, I made a big update of my worksheet.

Now, price includes bonus.

Please, have a look and confirm or not my calculs are corrects.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-G1LMDjAX9roVJDuhVewGG_pykSLIprWAElwO-6TcRA/edit?usp=docslist_api

I am a bit confused by these numbers. For example, if I put in .75 BTC on 4/26 and .25 BTC on 5/9, according to your graph I should have gotten, respectively, around 11,303 (=.75/.00006635) + 2731.9 (=0.25/00009151) = 14034, but I see 9580 LISK. 4454 are missing, around 46% off. Something is very off here.

Have I made a mistake or what is wrong here?

Thanks in advance,
IAS

As more people invest the total amount of waves you own will decrease, but the total value of waves you own will stay there same.

Essentially, more people buying = more expensive but less.  $100 of waves is still $100 of waves, it's just they are worth more now.

Nope you cant see any LISK there Grin

As more BTC is invested in ICO = number of WAVES in your wallet will be lower.
But less quantity (number of WAVES) = more value (higher price).

So it was like a company or something that we have our share by just owning some waves.

So waves holders will get something like a dividend from shares in a company.
I am more interested in the value of tokens themselves as a means for trading goods and services.

Waves is blockchain transport layer with Waves token being the fuel of whole platform above incentives from the network itself, used in all transactions, assets creations, trading, conversions etc.

Wait, if I invest 1 btc, how much Waves will I got? Can somebody calculate?

(Total BTC invested in the ICO + 1240) BTC = 85 million Waves

And you will need to add bonuses.

The ICO page now shows 9633 BTC raised, so it makes 1 BTC = 7818 Waves. If that BTC was deposited in the first day, let's say, we should add 20% to 7818. And tomorrow, that 9633 will increase because of the new investments, so the equation will change accordingly.

Where does that 1240 come from?

It is there to fix the combined effect of the bonuses. If you calculate how much Waves makes 1 BTC, you will yourself find that 1240 from the long way.

We are testing lite wallet atm with basic functions, will be ready for public testing near the end of ICO. Official version will need to go through appstore submission also.

You will be able to withdraw your tokens still to the exchanges wallets after the ICO ends.

The numbers are off across the board though. At one time they should have been correct and according to my screenshots, never were.
I mean what is the point of having a spreadsheet showing the amounts if I have not found them to be true a - at the time of purchase, b - later on and c - right now?

Your description makes much more sense (and is much more accurate) than that spreadsheet. (I am not meaning to be critical of the spreadsheet, just sharing.)

This is why i think there needs to be a disclaimer under the token amount, seems like the majority of people don't understand that the number they see isn't the final amount they will get.

I am not quite sure I understand your question. If you deposit 1 BTC, then your Waves are worth 1 BTC (plus bonuses).

I see, thank you. At which exchanges could a listing of waves be expected? Or perhaps that is yet to be determined.  Smiley

Currently 0.00012692849 btc. It will vary depending on the number of availible waves if I'm not mistaken. I.e increase as more BTC is put into the ICO.

Currently 0.00012692849 btc. It will vary depending on the number of available waves if I'm not mistaken. I.e increase as more BTC is put into the ICO.

So that's around 5 cents? Is that the cost of it or the current value of it? I bought more waves earlier but now I have less waves, does that mean they are worth less or they are worth more? I am always confused about that. I currently total have paid out: around 0.19 btc and have 1641 WAVES so how much did each WAVE cost me so far? I can't seem to do it correctly with the calculator lol.

0.16 BTC for 1641 Waves makes 1 BTC = 8637 Waves, so it seems you invested in the 10% bonus period mostly. I think we need to assume that its cost is equal to its value at the moment.

The price will be determined by the market.
But getting Waves now could be a lot more revording if Waves will go stright up when trading starts and never comes even close to the final average ICO price ( what we will know only when ICO ends).
