I'm curious why TRUSTED exchanges didn't receive the code 3 days earlier to audit the code. Devs could have protected it with NDA.
Despite Lisk's many mistakes, they coordinated the Polo release portion correctly.

Waves is 50 lines of code. You have all walked straight into a trap. 30 million dollars for dev and zero bitcoins for all of you!
Please don't post FUD. Verify yourself: The code at https://github.com/wavesplatform/Waves is 232 kB, and the code of all *.scala files in src/main is 562 lines, and Scala allows to write very compact code. Still not much code, but it uses the Scorex library, which provides all the code required to run a blockchain. I checked the code, i am sorry to say that this project is SCAM... Anyone can write this source code.. In addition, waves team earned so much money from ICO, but result is this? Can you explain this in more detail? Which files did you check and why is it a scam? Does it run? Then it is not a scam. It uses the Scorex library, which does all the work, you have to provide just the genesis block and you can add and override some of the default behaviors. Of course, needs still a lot of work to implement all the promised features, but looks like the basics are working, and Scala is a very nice and powerful language to add the rest. I mean, anyone can write such a code using scorex library without asking any ICO funding. I, personally, want to see more with such amount of money that is collected. Unfortunately, i am also a waves ICO funder. Of course i would like to earn money by trading waves. But i think this hype is illogical considering this little work. My fault is, i just checked the source code. |
