There is a big whale on bittrex that manipulates the price. Once the whale thinks its time to rise the price, he will let it happen.

Wasn't there some giveaway for installing the Waves mobile wallet and receiving random price of 5-200 waves or something? I've installed the wallet a while back, by the QR code on the site but my wallet still say's 0 Waves. Has this been distributed already?

if the whale is accumulating then the walls will be lifted sooner or later... however there is a theory that it is someone offloading their waves. I think the talk was about iconomi. In this case these big sells will have to be eaten, which is slower.  Although, if it was someone offloding aves they could do a better job to let the price rise and have  smaller sells to get more.

I think Sasha said sometime ago that mycelium have theor own "problems" right now so this was put on hold for now. Not due to waves, but it seems more due not mycelium's problems with the roadmap they have or smth like that.

Why should it be treated as such a big deal? Wallet is what it is, it doesnt add any new functionality to the network, doesnt speed up transactions and does not improve security. Well yeah it does have features that all the other more convenient wallets may be short of but why setting the wallet integration procedure as top priority if it can distract people from more needed and less noticeable features.
