Are transactions on Waves faster than BTC and ETH?

Thank you

Way faster!!! Almost instant and max like 1 min!

Do not listen to this. Their platform freezes bitcoins. And do not know when you see them
First, Waves transactions really are faster.
Second, the ETT hack recently seems to be the problem, looks like they check withdrawels atm so the ETT thief cant cash out unseen. Patience now is the key. Its an exceptional situation atm.

Hope this helps.

Yes transactions waves are fast. But what about bitcoins? Over an hour ago withdrawn from waves dex and still nothing
They are processing withdrawels with cause, could be manually checked, idk. Its an exceptional situation.
I do think the team could be more informative on this though.

The team blocked an account on telegrams as someone reported a problem. Really funny behavior from the team
FUD. It was you they blocked, wasnt it? I was there and witnessed you calling Waves a scam, you would sell and never look back.
Btw, it are the mods at telegram, not the team per se.

my bitcoins have disappeared from the waves platform and have been sent elsewhere. i have no idea who has my bitcoin. the waves wallet doesn't even show you what address you send to when you withdraw bitcoin. support is slow to respond. we have heard nothing from the team regarding situation. I feel I may never see my .89 btc again. it is funny how people say it decentralized but when you sent btc to waves it goes straight to someone else control. idk if hacked or waves scam but one thing is certain my btc is not mine right now
Waves is decentralized. The DEX has some control. The Waves team is totally entitled to do so.
One can run his own node and matcher and has his own DEX.

Fud is this platform. Which cost so much money. And lose money from third parties...
So I want to recover only my money and I do not want to have anything else to do with this platform anymore

it is set up like shady. when you make a BTC withdraw is shows you NO WHERE the btc address you send to on waves wallet so it is impossible to show you havent received. it only show 3rd party address to process request but not to where and it takes your asset from waves wallet. my BTC is still missing from 3rd party waves

For immediate support, I would recommend to use the Waves slack.  Get in touch with mx or sasha on there.  They will get the issues resolved for you guys.

The problem is, that as long as the ico contest runs, you can't register.

Withdrew BTC from waveswallet.io yesterday to Bittrex, nothing till now. I was told by support they process withdraws manually atm, still when I asked what delay could be expected, it was not answered.

What is more, like for 3 past hours I can't place an order on DEX: "Error! Order has not been created.", even though I have enough Waves to place an order. (-EDIT- DEX seems to be working now)

Waves seems to be pretty messed up right now

True. I can confirm that. The mods at Waves Telegram Community is so rude. Bullying newbies and ignoring complains & issues. I do have screenshots. If sasha request me on pm, i'll surely let him see. I'll sell of all the waves soon, maybe when it hit $6 (if it hits again).
Other than that, the waves slack team is kinda friendly and solid.

Yes this is crazy. How are many of you viewing this as acceptable. I've contacted support and they are extremely unhelpful. All they say is " it needs to be processed manually, please wait" they offer no time frame. Are we supposed to wait days and be ok. Many of us need access to it right away.

Yes the truth is the same. If I wanted to keep my btc I would keep it and not give the platform waves

Well, you got response from support.
You can be angry or just wait until it's resolved.
This is Bitcointalk, not support.

But it's about waves and people can write here about the problems of their platform. Because that is to make everyone know what errors are occurring

It's not an error.

At the moment withdraw requests are processed manually by the Bitcoin payment gateway to prevent a hacker from moving away his stolen ETT funds.
The ETT funds were stolen from the Incent blockswap service.
ETT has to completely redo their ETH / Waves token distribution.

The hack is not Waves or Ethereum related, just a vulnerability at the Incent blockswap service.

So yes, it's a mess but I hope they stop him.

I used the wBTC deposit / withdraw function a few times and it worked fine, though a bit slow. But well, Bitcoin should speed up after the fork.

And if something does not work well it's not a mistake - a funny statement. Think about your answer. This is a big mistake if their platform is not working well
